Meh. I grabbed this as an audible freebie because I usually like the author, but I found this one really boring. The narrators were good though!

Imagine Sleepless in Seattle for the Instagram generation.
It's like a picture of a beautiful beach on a travel blog that has been cropped to remove the sewage treatment plant.
It just feels fake.

I'm sad this was so short...

****4.5 Stars****

Lucky Suit was bloody awesome. I can't believe Lauren Blakely would tease us with such interesting characters, catchy storyline and awesome narrators for it to be so SHORT!! I could have easily spent hours...days...weeks (maybe not weeks, let's not get too crazy) with Cam and Kristen.

Kristen has been set up by her feisty grandmother a few too many times with very little success. None of the men she's dated can hold a sensible conversation, and when t

Fluffy, light, silly audiobook involving matchmaking grandmothers, online dating, and lots of flirting. Short and innocuous. Totally not my thing, but romance fans will probably enjoy.

Super cute, and I loved Kristen's Grandma. Crafty, sneaky and full of love!

Their kisses were magical, but I wished we got to experience Kristen and Cameron having couple time instead of being told of weekends spent together after the fact. It was a short book though, so I get it.

As usual, Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber's performance was a delight, and enhanced my enjoyment.

This one was short and sweet. <3
I listened the audiobook and loved it sooo much. :)
Cute book.. but nothing really happened.

Lucky Suit is one of those books that I dove into because of the author. I absolutely love Lauren Blakely and everything she writes. However, I feel like nothing happened in this book. Whether it was Kristen and Cameron having chemistry or basically saying that they will never work for some stupid reason. Overall, nothing really happened between these two.

There was no "drama" or anything that kept me on my toes. Just some grandma match making going on. Oh,

This is really short and I think it's an Audible exclusive. I have no idea why that's even a thing, but hey, the investment is small (for the reader) and I've liked Lauren Blakely books before so I gave it a shot. And it's not bad. The length is about right because this couple starts off mega-compatible and have almost no bar in their way to becoming a couple. The banter is good and the side characters interesting (if a bit over the top).

So I'm going to give it four stars, though the negatives a

This is awful.

Sam, why did you finish it? It's short! And I realized I'm, like, ridiculously picky about American narrators. So, I have to take a breather because favorite narrators

But it's soooo cheesy sooo lacking in any kind of conflict whatsoever with the same lines repeated over and over again. I think I ended up hating it more.

It was free, but it is not worth the time.

I mean, it was nice. But yeah -- that's it. Nothing very much, or very important happened. It was fun enough to listen to, and short enough that it didn't drag. But it wasn't anything special or particularly amazing.

The writing was mediocre. The characters were mediocre. The humor was nice. The storyline was... mediocre.

It's forgettable, but a cute and sweet enough way to pass the time.

A cute story about a woman who had more than enough dating setups. Then she meets a guy in real life and realizes he’s the same perfect guy she was matched up with on line.
Good story! Lots of laughs with an interesting twist at the end.

3 1/2 "Catfish" Stars!

Cute, sweet, and funny. The narrators are both very good- m/f duel POV. Nice way to spend a couple hours.

Another free Audible original. The dialogue back and forth was quippy. The plot was uncomplicated. Not something I would have paid money for, but a decent enough use of a free monthly pick.

I'd rate this book a PG.

”Have I ever told you I love you more than the Milky Way?”

This is a really cute, short story. Within the first five minutes I was smiling and I thoroughly enjoyed the sense of humor in this book.

Kristen is geeky (she’s an alternative fuel scientist), very inquisitive and has a fun personality. She hasn’t had the best luck on the last few dates....

Audiobook narrated by Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt 2h 25 mins

One of my Audible original selections for February, this was a sweet little romantic comedy about the trying to find your other half in the digital age. The narrators were really delightful and certainly amped up this narrative and I liked how they were interwoven within each other's chapters. As per the storyline, it was a bit predictable, but that happens in this genre quite a bit. I have a lot of audios that have been a bit length
4.5 short and sweet stars!

I listened to this short audiobook on my drive today and found myself smiling through most of it. I wish this was a longer story than it was instead of just a quick taste of an adorable story.

A meddling grandmother, a cute nerdy girl, a handsome chocolate store owner, a dating website, a car auction and a telescope. :)

Just like this novella I'm going to leave my review short and sweet!

3.5 - A cute, if predictable love story using the near anonymity of social media to create a Shop Around the Corner/You've Got Mail situation that, naturally, causes confusion and "chaos".
Cute, quirky, and a solid way to spend an afternoon with a good audiobook.

I you are looking for a funny, bite-sized romance I would definitely recommend Lucky Suit! It's pretty short, but well-paced and entertaining. Kristen is tired of set-ups and committed to trying online dating exclusively. Cameron refuses to try online dating and is determined to find someone through a real life connection. So when Kristen's independent and outrageously quirky grandmother meets the handsome Cameron, she decides to play matchmaker. It's a great little story and a perfect light esc ...more

Okay, this one was absolutely atrocious. I chose it as part of the Audible's free monthly selection. February options were not resplendid. My first pick was a young adult sci-fi. And then for a while I debated. One of the selection was a production on the psychology of serial killers and it had fantastic reviews. However, I have just finished listening to the January's Audible podcast on a porn-star suicide, also a great product, and I felt like I just have had enough of brilliant grim listens f ...more

Light and sweet -> exactly what I wanted from this short story. The best part might be the granny who was trying to be Cupid and get them together. It was funny to see the set-up she made to get these two people to meet. When Kristen, the FMC, is talking to what she think is two different men, when they finally meet up it's a surprise to find out there's only one man. Not a lot happened but that was to be expected. Still, it was cute and I enjoyed listening to it! ...more

This was the perfect romance audiobook to listen on my drive home after work. Made me smile and I absolutely enjoy Andi and Zachary’s performance. They both are on my list of amazing book narrators.

This short, sweet, sexy and fun story revolves around Cameron who we already met in Birthday Suit. He is Lulu’s best friend. Now is his time to find love. Kristen is his mystery girl who he meets thanks to a nosy, sassy grandma that had it in her that her granddaughter will be his perfect match.

This was a short, sweet, and funny story. I guess it kind of goes with some other books by this author, and I'll have to listen to them as well. But I loved our characters in this one, Kristen and Cameron. I kind of agreed with Kristen's thoughts on dating in real life. However I don't see that online dating is much better. At least I haven't had any guys actually spend much time talking online, so haven't had a good experience with that. And then there's Cameron. He's hilarious! Not to mention ...more

What a cute but smart romance. Entertaining and fun, certainly enough to pass the time. I think this is my first LB novel and thanks to the audible monthly free listen program.

This book was short and sweet with no sexy times, not even fade to black. Can’t say I missed it and don’t think it needed it.

I like smart romances, so I may pick up another by this author when I’m in the mood for straight romance with little to no fire.

Okay, so to break it down a bit, I would have given this one four stars on the basis of the performers (I listened to it on audio and I loved the voice-acting of Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt—Andi in particular had this great cadence that really brought the character to life), and the story, too, was pretty darn solid and I adored the portrayal of the grandmother and the—I don't have a better word—hijinks of the plot.

But. I'm really, really tired of listening to characters snark or mock at anyt
Was strolling through my Audiobook library and Lucky Suit caught my eye. A short, non-fiction novella by Lauren Blakely, it was the perfect length for a quick mental break on the road. Sometimes I wind up getting into a new audiobook only to remember I do not have enough driving time to finish and it takes me awhile to get back to it.

The writing: I am giving this review 5 stars because the writing is really good. It should not really be judged by how long or short it is. The length of the audio

I'm so glad we got Cameron's story, although I wish it was longer!
This was very cute, although I do have to say I was confused at a certain point- I almost had to "rewind" to see if I missed something, but then it was all cleared up!
Andi and Zachary did an awesome job, as always. But I was hoping for a full duet, not just the texting, oh well- you can't always get what you want.

I read this from the dating mr right collection. I wasnt able to finish the collection so im counting this separately. I loved the beginning it was going well i love characters. But the ending just fell flat and i was really disappointed about that. Also wished they had more interactions together rather than online.
