Good for any time of the year, this heartwarming read is also about family, friends, and forgiveness. But sometimes, forgiving yourself can be the hardest.

Living a lie can rock your sanity. She has to find the courage to shed her painful past, to let go and step up. It's a rocky road to love and acceptance but living her true life is the only thing that makes it all worth. A fascinating story that deals with a lot of devastating situations. It include social issues that are, unfortunately, still very alive today. An unforgettable, heart-wrenching story of love and strength. I was deeply touched by Jordan's story and the unconditional supp

WOW !! 😍🤩😍🤩

I dived deeply in the story and wasn’t able to stop my reading. The plot is quite simple but powerful and very efficient !!! 💪👏

Both strong and fragile in the same time, Jordan and Emmy are two very touching characters …
I also really appreciated their consequent age difference and the fact that they are 40+ years old .. 😊

Here is the recipe which allowed this story to see the light of day :

“Falling for Love” is a story about facing fears, rejection, and inner turmoil for the sake of love. When Jordan meets Emmy, her life changes. Emmy is out and proud to be who she is, and tells Jordan in no uncertain terms that she wants a relationship with her to be the same… open and true. Jordan promises Emmy that she will come out to her family by her 40th birthday. Many close family and friends are very accepting, but hate and prejudice do make their way into their lives.

As it is well and perfectly said in the blurb of this book, Falling For Love is not just about romance, but also about family, friends and forgiveness.
Jordan is in her 40's and never allowed herself to come out for fear. And Emmy is in her 50's and very openly out. They feel attraction and sparks from the beginning but to hide it is not easy for either one.
Unfortunately, we can find something very common nowadays, homophobia. But fortunately, we can also find people who stand for each oth

What a lovely story!

This was a lovely story. Very good debut novel. The plot development was flawlessly done. The two main characters had tons of chemistry. Jordan’s growth in attempting to have the courage to come out to her family and friends touched a chord that most of us have gone through. Emmie was a strong out and proud lesbian that found a second chance at love with Jordan. The supporting characters were all charming and fun. I hope the author would consider a story about Jo. The story is told from two points of view, Jordan and Emmy.

Jordan is an owner and chef of a restaurant in Oakville W. Virginia, a conservative small town. She is nursing an old hurt by throwing herself into her work. She is calm under pressure unless her mom is speaking. Normally she doesn’t spat with anyone else. Her brother is a conservative who loves to cause conflict. When around him, she still keeps her cool and stick to safe subjects. Still, the town is Jordan’s home and she wa

‘Falling for Love’ is a beautiful, emotional, surprising and uplifting love story that had me totally gripped. Restauranteur Jordan May have a successful business but she is hiding so much of herself that it is emotionally crippling her. Firmly in the closet and approaching her 40th birthday she has yet to find the courage to come out to her family and the conservative community it’s she lives in. Meeting Emmy Russo makes her reassess, but will she go far enough for out and proud Emmy?

Jordan Simón owns her own restaurant in West Virginia, which is where she is originally from after returning from Spain five years earlier.  She meets Emmy Russo and sparks instantly fly.  Jordan is in the closet whereas Emmy is not.  It all depends on what Jordan decides to do or not do.

Both Jordan and Emmy are likeable characters, however, there were a couple of times when I thought they had reacted to a situation uncharacteristically or in a way that surprised me in a bad way.  I
