She is a woman who can put terror into the hearts of many-a-man, in her upscale bar in Houston, she has to be. Elaina has earned her place in the world and she plans on keeping it, even when she becomes the object of threats and danger. The only man she has a problem with is her brother, and the biggest problem seems to be the soft spot she has in her heart and her inability to keep him out of trouble.

Of course, she had just been outbid on a classic Harley by an equally alpha man, Sebastian Ston

I really do like Nicole's writing. Her stories are real, emotional, tragic, and full of love. Nicole's writing takes you into her world and makes you not want to leave until the end. I did read the first book, and to be honest I would read it since there is a family connection. But for these characters it is not necessary if you don't want a background. I voluntary read an advance reader copy for my honest review ...more

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Boss Unwavering: An Enemies to Lovers Romance by Nicole R. Locker is the third book in The Boss Series. I dropped into this series with this book and absolutely loved the story. This is my first Nicole Locker read and I really enjoyed it. Despite the spoilers from reading this series out of order, I intend to go back and read books one and two... it was that good! I believe the read is enhanced by reading the series and in order, but this book does have resolution s ...more

Oh wow the suspense of this book is fast and furious and every page is complex and captivating! Sebastien's magnetism and strength is a draw but his flaws not so much. Elaina is a business woman in need of help with an unscrupulous brother but is this brash man the answer. Together the scorching chemistry and sizzling dialogue make you sit up and take notice and cheer for a relationship that is edgy and gut grabbing. Compromises and honesty are easier said than done when outside influences are p ...more

Boss Unwavering is the third book in the Boss series. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone but you would get more from the books if you read them in series order. Characters from the previous books make appearances throughout Boss Unwavering but you don’t have to be familiar with them to enjoy the story. It would just give you a better understanding of the family type dynamics going on. I have read the first and the third book in this series and I found both to be enjoyable reads ...more

I am becoming a fan of Nicole. Her books depict real life in varying degrees especially in the case of Elaina who runs an upscale bar in Huston Texas. She is a dominant alpha woman who takes no prisoners, and is sharp with a head for business. Men have a problem dealing with Elaina because she can hold her own now if she can just get her brother to tow the line! Dallas is your typical mess up. He believes everything should be handed to him and resents his sister because she is successful. Unwill ...more

This is the third and last book in the Boss Series. The Series continues with the story about Elaina Evans and Sebastian Stone, an ennemies to lovers and slow burn romance. I love Elaina and Sebastian, the two main characters. Sebastian, a Private Investigator, is strong and so protective. I also like that Rogan and Farren makes appearance in this book. This book is well written, suspenseful and fast pace. It fills the blanks from the previous books and tied up all the mysteries. It was my first ...more

A great finale to the Boss Series, by Nicole R. Locker. This one is an enemies- to-lovers and somewhat of a second chance at love, and the relationship between Elaina and Sabastian is intense. This is not a book that you'll, "just read for a bit, before bed." Nope. You'll want to devour it, in one sitting. Intriguing with powerful, family drama. Action-filled with gripping suspense. Ms. Locker ties the series together and gives Elaina and Sabastian a very satisfying conclusion. I received this b ...more

Captivating from the get, it's a book that isn't easy to put down. I happen to love stories that manage take enemies to lovers so I was a complete sucker for Sebastian and Elaina. Technically this is part of the Boss series, so it certainly helps to have read the other first but this once can be read without the others. This book is a heart pounding adventure, and Sebastian and Elaina have incredible chemistry. I highly recommend both this book and the others. Do not miss out. This is a voluntar ...more

Elaina and Sebastian have such amazing chemistry right from the very first time they see each other. It is surprising that it takes so long for them to act on their feelings toward each other. There is a lot of drama going on what with her life being threatened and him investigating multiple cases for his private investigator business and being her personal bodyguard and bouncer at her bar... They do find the time to fall for each other and come out on top in the end. What a great continuation o ...more

Elaina and Sebastian's story was a fantastic addition to the Boss Series! In fact, I think it is my favorite of the three. From the beginning, I was hooked! I did not want to put the book down until I had it finished. The chemistry between Elaina and Sebastian was hot. Along with some steaminess, this story also has drama, suspense, and action. I definitely recommend reading this one!
*I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
Elaina is a tough woman and a force to be reckoned with. When she hires Sebastian to help her find out what happened to her brother, their sparks start flying immediately. They're both fiercely independent and stubborn, which created some serious friction and steam. This was a quick read, but a lot was packed into this entertaining story! ...more

This is the third book in the boss series and is an enemies to friends romance. Sebastian and Elaina were great characters and I fell in love with them. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review. Well written and a fun read.

I read this almost a year ago, so the details are fuzzy but I remember having a list of things (mostly plot-related) that I did not like about this book.
