They've been mentioned one or two times, but that was it. I guess it doesn't help that the setting is not in their hometown Hawken's Cove.

The thing about sequels or spin-offs of any book series is, the characters in the sequel are often introduced in the first book. They get an almost equal amount of exposure as the main characters. But in the sequel, the main characters from the first book don't even get a chapter's worth of updates.(less)

One thing you can always expect from a Carly Phillips book is that it'll be a light-hearted, sweet, sexy romance. Sealed With A Kiss definitely follows along that line. Though I do have to say that this book is a little more angsty in the beginning, and a little more emotionally deep than many of her other books.

If you plan to read this book, I'd highly recommend reading Phillips' book Cross My Heart first, as the two are connected. Not plot-wise, but character wise. Readers first

I wonder how I was able to finish the book. I hated the main characters and some things seemed a little far-fetched. But I will focus only on the main characters because they are the essence of the book.

Hunter. The only sour thing in Cross my heart was the epilogue because it was mentioned that after Molly left he started sleeping around like his life depended on it. That was strike one. Strike two came when the book began with him waking up next to his "sleeping" buddy and Molly knocking on hi
This is not a romance when you have Hero sleeping around with OP and an indifferent heroine. Will never read because of Sofia's excellent review! Thanks for the heads-up hon!

Hunter and Molly had unfinished business. Their relationship was different from any others that I’ve read because these two had feelings for each other but have never been a couple but yet it seems like they always were. They both had issues from their childhood that they carried around into adulthood and affected things. It was a bit complicated and in the midst of all that Molly broke Hunter’s heart.

Then Molly needs Hunter’s help in a personal matter at which at first he wasn’t willing to hel

We first meet Hunter and Molly in Cross my Heart and to say their story started out rough was an understatement. However, these two are truly meant for each other. I felt it within every page and every conversation and every action these two have. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book after reading Cross my Heart. I literally read this book in one sitting. I think the only time I got up was to use the bathroom and get more coffee. Yes, Ms. Phillips is really that good at her story telling ...more

SEALED WITH A KISS by Carly Phillips is book Two in the Ty and Hunter Series. This is the story of Molly Gifford and Daniel Hunter. I have read the previous book 'Cross My Heart' which Hunter and Molly were in so that added to my enjoyment of this book.

I loved reading Sealed with a Kiss but before I go any further and to get the full jist of Molly and Hunter's story I would highly recommend reading Cross My Heart first as they are secondary characters in that story.

Molly Gifford and Daniel Hunter both had it tough growing up. Daniel in and out of foster homes and juvi and Molly with parents that could never really be bothered with her leaving them both with relationship issues.

I really really loved Molly and Hunter! LOL Double really, just sayin! And the story-line was very entertaining and realistic. I’m making sure to say that so you guys understand this story, although crazy at time, was not beyond the realm of possibility nor do you have to suspend any kind of reality to say *that could happen* LOL But crazy it was …. Crazy FUN! SO MUCH! The mystery and suspense, the family, Hunter and Molly … all of it. Just plain cute!

Solid 4.5 stars (almost 5 so I'm rounding

Review by Jen:
Sealed with a Kiss is Carly Phillips' follow up to one of my favorite books of 2006, Cross My Heart. Each book stands alone, but as usual it probably makes a lot more sense if you read them in order since the main characters have parts in both stories.

Molly has a budding career and a great boyfriend, Hunter, but what she wants most is a family. So, when she discovers her real father, she leaves everything-and everyone-behind. A year later, Hunter is still not over Molly. She shows

Nope, not my cup of tea. I am seriously asking myself why I even bother to get any of Carly Phillips' books lately since she basically just writes crap lately. This is no exception!

The story is practically non-existent, and even if it was it is ridiculous. You're wondering from the start what it is with these people. Gosh, just get it on and shut the fuck up. I was this close to scream at them. Really. During the whole book you don't see any change at all. Of course in the end, everything is fin

I really liked this book, but I think it helped that most of the story was included in the first book of the series. In this book, it went straight to the point. Since the history was already there, there was no need to repeat it. This one was fun, sad, funny and charming. I really like Molly and Hunter. Great team with a great supporting cast that didn't overwhelm the main charcters. Thanks for another great read!

As predicted in my review of Cross my Heart, Sealed with a Kiss was WAY more entertaining and believable. Both Hunter and Molly's story were well developed and did not seem so far-fetched to me. But that's just my opinion.....

If i haven't read the first book (Ty and Lacey's story in Cross My heart) or it wasn't still fresh on my mind, i would have probably rated this book higher. But with the previous book's lead-in and its characters' charm and likability, it made rooting for Hunter and Molly a little challenging.

Hunter, like it says in the book, is a natural charmer, and i liked him even in the first book. Molly, on the other hand, can get on someone's nerves. If it weren't for her endearing family, and yes, that

If you have read Cross my Heart then you would know who Hunter and Molly are. Then if you haven’t read it then stop right here and go read them because you will need the full effect of their story. Hunter has had a hard life of foster homes, juvenile detention and being scared straight. He knew his life needed to change so he became a lawyer for the people who he believes need to be fought for. Molly is a lawyer also who Hunter met in law school. They were always in competition with one another ...more

Sealed with a Kiss

Imagine going through an entire lifetime thinking one man was your father and then also having a mother who thought of you.... or didn’t really think of you as she was too busy with one man or another. That’s what Molly Gifford has to come to terms with in her late twenties. It now makes sense that her “dad” never treated her like his own, only sending the occasional birthday card and sporadic phone calls. He finally gives her the gift of her biological father’s name.

What do you do when your father is arrested for the murder of his best friend and business partner? Why, you call your own best friend, of course, who also happens to be the best criminal attorney you know and your ex! That’s what Molly did in Carly Phillip’s book Sealed with a Kiss. She also hoped that he would take the case and was the first step to them getting back together.

Powerful story about family and belonging!

Molly's flighty, neglectful mother has left Molly adrift without a solid foundation, until she discovers who her birth father really is and is immediately accepted into his family. When he's arrested for a murder, she is certain of his innocence, and equally certain that the only criminal defense lawyer that can save him is the one man she had to walk away from - Daniel Hunter.
