Beneath the Broken Moon Part One 5 Stars
Possible love triangle
Carmela Santiago is a werewolf and the only thing her father thinks she’s good for is to breed him some more werewolves. Derek Ashmore is a vampire who saves Carmela from the Cazador or human hunters. And there is an attraction, but Werewolves and vampires don’t mix well. And then there is her betrothed she just met Brendan Kelly who seems nice and there’s some attraction there as well. Anything has to be better tha

Part I
Carmela is a wolf shifter, she is saved by a vampire named Derek after she is shot by humans. Even though she is attracted to Derek she knows a relationship with a vampire is impossible, their species do not interact. Carmela runs from Derek and returns home where she will meet the mate her father chose for her, whether she likes him or not she will be forced to be his mate. This was a great book, set in a future where things are drastically different on Earth, and mankind knows they are n

Carmela is the alpha's daughter, but the alpha is a mean jerk who treats her badly. So you end up hating him from the start of the book.
Carmela and her cousin are out at the movies when the movie house is a tacked.
There is sooooo much tension and drama in this story it just pulls you in to what is happening in the attack and then latter dealing with the dad wow!
the story is written in the first person and every so often it changes from different characters. I couldn't put it down I had to see wh

Carmela and her cousin Chandra were attacked at the movies they went out the back door and split up so they could try and make it home unfortunately Carmela was mortally wounded and ran down a side street. She was pulled into a house and she found herself in the presents of a vampire named Derek who helped her but she knew that there was a war between the species and she could not possibly stay with him it was something about him but she had to keep her wits, he told her who he was and what he h ...more

This is a very action packed, emotional roller coaster. Carmela is such a strong character who has basically been kept a prisoner in her own home most of her life. She's been promised to a young alpha, but hasn't met him yet, and fears he'll be just like her father. Just before they're due to meet, a rare night out with her cousin ends in gunfire and both girls running for their lives. A stranger puts his own life on the line to save her. Derek is a vampire and they don't normally go around resc ...more

With werewolf Carmela Santiago and vampire Derek Ashmore the story began with a good dose of action and suspense. The author gives the reader vampires, werewolves and hunters in a continue guessing as to what’s happening in this new post apocalypse world. The plot was intense with different and intriguing characters. The main characters were well defined with interesting dialogues that make the reader think. My mind worked overtime with the emotions that the plot was bringing. The story caught m ...more

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review.

Carmela,Derek and Brendan struggle to overcome the obstacles that stand in their way. From an abusive father, a deranged person who is trying to kill vampires and above all stay alive from the crazied Cazador's group. Carmela is drawn to both men for different reasons, one is the enemy of her kind the other is her chosen mate. When she choices both for her mates can they keep her safe from her abusive father? Can they ove

What a great start for a new series it's jam packed with intense circumstances. We have Camrela who is duty-bound role as a female werewolves shifter is to be mated to a strong Alpha male to have his kids since the race is becoming instinct. So she being set up for a potential mate by her dominating, abusive, power hungry, father Camrela is totally against the whole tradition of a mate being chosen for her she wishes to mate for love not obligation. Don't want to give it all away but I'm totalin ...more

Carmela is daughter to a mean jerk who abuses her and her mother for the fact she wasn't born a boy but she is a great bartering tool for breeding to keep the species strong. The story takes you to when Carmela and her cousin go out to the movies but the movie house is attacked. They end up splitting up to escape but Carmela gets injured. You get different characters POV throughout which adds to the tension, it really does grip your attention and takes you along a great story plot with some bril ...more

Wolves and vampires what a combination. Future mates, abusive parents, evil people, no mixing of species, that's what they all think. Carmela dates her future mate Brendon, and meets a vampire (Derek)that helps hide them from evil humans. Carmela's father tries to rape her so she runs and Brendon finds her with Derek and they both try to keep her safe. A very well written book, very attention grabbing. I loved this book. You should read it to see how it turns out for the them.

This book threw me for a bit. As I read, it was so familiar and I realized they had been published as chapters, this is all five in one book. This is a paranormal romance with a side of mystery, intrigue and evil. An interesting and entertaining read, with a side of steam. Best way to purchase this series.

Loved Season one! Carmela,Brendan and Derek were an odd trio, but they were destined for each other. The werewolf and vampire both want her. She makes a decision that may lead to a different fate than was expected of her. Very action packed, with some steamy scenes to make your Kindle melt. Can't wait to see if there is a season two!
