Having lost the one good thing in his life, Ryder wants only to forget, to help others and defend his country. After a mission goes south and his SEAL brother is hurt, Ryder checks on him in Medical and finds the one that got away working there. In no time at all, the same damn feelings he used to have for Caitlyn are back as if they'd never gone away. She's not his anymore, but maybe friendship is enough…
That's the last thing Caitlyn wants with Ryder. She isn't here by chance. Realizing she screwed up their relationship big-time, she'll do anything to get him back in her life, even if it means working overseas on the off-chance of seeing him sometimes.
When the outpost is attacked, medical supplies go missing and Caitlyn is grabbed, all bets for a fairy-tale ending are off. What's really important is all that matters now, and the two of them need to figure out what that is before they lose that very thing again--this time permanently.
SEALs of Macklin
One damaging relationship in his life refuses to end when the woman insists it's not over between them for her. Marsha makes Macklin's life hell…until she turns up dead and the evidence points straight at him.
As the new detective on the Coronado Police force, Alex is determined to make a good impression on her superiors and colleagues. That goal is thwarted by Macklin, who's the chief suspect in her murder investigation--and someone she longs to know a whole lot better. Whether she wants to or not, she can't let herself foolishly forget that his last girlfriend now occupies an ice-cold bed at the morgue.
During his thorough interrogation at the precinct by the sexy-beyond-belief detective, Macklin finds himself furious…and intrigued. Seems, alive or dead, Marsha is determined to make his life miserable. Alex intends to find out the truth, and, as an elite warrior himself, he admires her grift and ethics in pursuit of the answers. Damn that she's the first woman in a long time he'd love to get to know better.
With no other option, Macklin has to help the detective solve the mystery--hopefully before Alex has no choice but to charge him with murder.
SEALs of Corey
A voice from the past cries out for help and Corey finds himself reunited with the only woman who'd ever rocked his world straight off the axis. But twelve years is a long time apart. Both of them have moved on, but, tragically, Angela is no longer the lighthearted woman he once knew and loved.
Caught in a nasty divorce and custody battle, Angela will do anything to keep her son with her. After seven years of a rocky marriage, she's only just beginning to figure out what kind of a man her husband truly is.
Angela makes it clear to Corey she doesn't want or need his help. She's got her own insurance to secure her case. But Corey is determined to shield his old flame anyway because she doesn't seem to realize her "insurance" is more than likely to get her dead sooner rather than later. Given that Corey's up against a man with no intention of letting his son go, it's a race to see who ends up in a casket first.

Caitlyn made a big mistake not contacting Ryder after a spectacular weekend that ended with his declaring his love for her. She'd walked out but she did so because she was overwhelmed. Now so much time has passed and she's made another big mistake by getting Mac to take her to a barbeque where she thought she'd be able to talk to him. Instead he left to avoid her.
A military nurse, Caitlyn is once again deployed, she's also where Ryder and his team are assigned. Although she is in the same camp, running into them isn't easy with tensions so high in the area.
Mac is injured on a mission and Ryder discovers Caitlyn is on base. Not happy with that but sort of understanding that she wanted to be close to Mac.
When the base is attacked, Caitlyn is injured, but doesn't realize it until the rush is over. With a concussion and stitches she is sent to rest for twenty-four hours. Ryder some how finds himself watching over her, he couldn't stay away.
Caitlyn needs to find a way to explain everything that went through her mind after his declaration of love. However with things heating up in the area, they never seem to get the chance for the privacy needed for that discussion.
I couldn't put this one down, so much going on and so much pain both emotional and physical. Both wanting more but cautious. I really loved the slow build and the patience Ryder shows.
I am already reading Macklin, as it's next in this three book collection.
Macklin Book 15
When we met Macklin we got some hints as to his ex and the wild things she did. In this book we find out all about that relationship and how truly weird she was.
As Mac prepares to return to duty Corey, Ryder and Caitlyn are out for coffee when they are approached by the police. Apparently Mac's ex Marsha has been murdered and he is the number one suspect.
Mac goes in for questioning and finds himself intrigued by Alex, a feeling he hadn't experienced in a very long time.
Alex has more than one case though, there's also been a spree of break-ins in military housing. The strange thing, nothing was taken and the occupants had mostly just been scared by the intruder who ran.
Of course the guys won't leave things totally to the police and Mac calls Alex with theories. The flirting is fun and the chemistry is palpable between these two. Alex just has to clear him, so maybe they can start something more.
Lots of twists and turns, and we see Mason in this one, although Corey is more involved. Breakfasts, lunches and a dinner bring Alex and Mac closer to a relationship that definitely has sizzle.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series!
Corey Book 16
No one is more surprised than Corey when he gets a call from his high school girlfriend. She asks to meet for lunch and Corey agrees. Once they settled in and ordered she decides she's made a mistake and leaves, in spite of Corey's efforts to get her to stay and talk.
Angela thinks she's made a mistake going to Corey, they have a lot of history between them and with her current problem it didn't seem right. Now Corey's interest is peaked and he finally gets in touch with his sister who informs him Angela is missing.
It wasn't hard to get Mason to help and he agreed Warrick could join him as back up. Finding Angela becomes a priority when they find her apartment had been broken into and trashed.
Not surprising, Corey's sister had the answers he needed to find her and some revelations about Angela's situation. Corey had no idea she had married and had a child, and her circumstances now stem from her soon to be ex.
Angela has somewhat settled in her Aunt's lakeside cabin. Forewarned that Corey and Warren were coming to help her, she isn't surprised when they show up although she wasn't sure what they could do for her.
There is a lot going on in this book, between the photos Angela copied, the fight to get her son back, and of course the attraction she has with Corey.
Warren was a steady force in this one as well. Even though he was dealing with his recent break-up. He's the one who recognized the 'Keeper' aspect of the interactions between Corey and Angela.
I loved the slow build to the relationship in the middle of the emotions and angst of the investigation. The love and support of Corey truly helps her keep it together as her almost ex turns up the heat.
A great value boxset of three Seals of Honor books. Very enjoyable and quite addictive.
#14 - Maklin - 5*
Macklin has had one damaging relationship in his life which he has done his best to avoid Marsha ever since. Alex is a new detective in the Coronado Police force and is determined to make a good impression. When Marsha is murdered and leaving evidence pointing to him, Macklin becomes the main suspect. Alex needs to find the killer soon, and Macklin finally has someone he wants to know better. Can they navigate the tricky case whilst staying in control of their thoughts and emotions until the killer is captured?
Great new story in the SEALs of Honor series. It was nice to see a guy struggling with a stalker as it is so often men stalking a woman, and I liked the torture of getting to know each other without crossing the boundary between a suspect and a lover. Everything was clearly written and clear and easy to understand. Very enjoyable and the ending set up a story for Corey in the next book.
# 15 - Corey - 5*
Corey gets a call from someone from way back in his past needing help but it appears a lot has happened in the past 12 years - both have moved on but Angela is in the middle of a bitter custody battle and very nasty divorce. She may have been married to Greg for 7 years but it is only now that she really understands exactly what he is like and it is not at all nice. Even worse she grabbed some photos of documents as a kind of "insurance" the last time she was in his house which might end up getting her killed. Can Corey help keep her alive as well as rescue her son from his evil father?
So much drama and danger in this story. Corey must have been knocked sideways seeing her again and finding out about her son but he took it all in his stride and handled it like an absolute gent. I loved Corey as a character and I think we could all do with him in our lives taking care of us. A dramatic story with lots of twists and turns which was well written and easy to understand and empathise with.
#16 = Warrick - 4*
Warrick Canton is in Mason's Navy SEAL team and is going crazy being on the sidelines through injury. He is also starting to turn soft longing for a real proper relationship like his mates seems to have. This is made worse when his girlfriend of 3 years dumps him. Feeling sorry for himself he goes to a barbecue at Mason's house and encounters a fiery redhead spitfire called Penny Magnus who he unfortunately already has met - he's intrigued but only she would give him an inch and a second look. Penny Magnus loves her job as a medical insurance clerk but getting some stubborn men to fill in the forms right is almost impossible. She is open to starting a new romance but it has to be someone who is not difficult - she has learnt that from her best friend with such a difficult relationship that Penny had to help her to see she needed to get out of it. However, all thought of potential romances goes out of the window when Penny's best friend's boyfriend contacts her blaming her fr the whole mess and seems determined to punish her for it. Warrick ends up working to keep Penny safe - he just needs to not make any mistakes.
Wow - there is a lot of drama and action in this story. You have the best friend and her boyfriend thing, the simmering hot passion bubbling under the surface between Warrick and Penny and then the determination of the ousted boyfriend to punish Penny for her interference. It all adds up to a mixture of drama, danger and action, interspersed with bits of romance and passion that can make you smile. Well written and fit into the whole world of SEALs that the author has created in this fictitious company with its links to serving and non-servicing SEALs. Well written, an easy read which would work well for a vacation read or just pure escapism.
Still going strong, I love this series. I love how each book builds on the last. How the team/family keeps growing and getting stronger along the way. Yes, there is love that is found along the way but having the support system around you see and honor that new relationship just makes it all that more special and amazing!
3 friends find out what happens when women from their past come back into their lives. These deals are tested by women from their past. Two by former loves and one by his stalker. They fight together to protect those who need them the most.
Dale comes through as always! Great character development and scene descriptions. There was tons of intrigue and suspense. The action was exciting even though there were a couple intense moments.
These Guys are awesome , the way these books are written is wonderful. The suspense the bickering and bantering between the men , I love it. The woman are strong and fierce. They come back from difficult circumstances and fight their way to a great future.
More action and suspense than expected but really glad to read a book like this one. I couldn't put the book because I might miss something happening. If you like action, this book is for you. I didn't care for the sex scenes to be so graphic, so I skipped over them.
Each book of course has a happy ending but the fun part is reading about the adventures each couple goes through to get there. Great storylines for all books in this series.
Wow, I loved these books. The men are tough, but fall hard. The women are also tough, resilient and self-reliant, but also fall hard. Very, very enjoyable reads.
Good light hearted, action packed romances. The plots are starting to repeat (there are only so many problems ladies can get into...). But the characters are still fresh and new.
5 stars for Seals of Honor: Books 14-16 by Dale Mayer
I love this series. Can't put them down. A great way to read a suspenseful series such as the Seals of Honor. A must read with amazing characters. Hot and sexy alpha seals with truly awe inspiring heroines. Love the second chance at love with Ryder and Caitlyn and Corey and Angela. The new friendship love with Macklin and Alex. Can't wait for the next instalment of Seals of Honor.
Good stories Interesting main characters with good supporting characters. Interesting and varied scenarios in each book with enough continuity from each book to enable the three to be read as a trilogy. Definitely a good read.
