This is the last of the set that we have and it was a quick read for Maddie.

I thought that this book is a very good book that teaches children sharing. In the beginning the people don't want to share but once they realized he was just going to make it his self they all got curious and started to help add ingredients. I thought the end of the book was a good turn around for the village and they appreciated each other.

Learning Experience: Ask the child how they felt when someone wouldn't share with them, then I would have the children help me make our own classroom soup. I would have each child share something different with me to put in it.
