The Kennedy Boys #9

Adoring Keaton

Rate this book
A friends-to-lovers new adult MM romance from USA Today bestseller Siobhan Davis. Stand-alone with HEA and no cliff-hanger.

Keaton
Moving to California was supposed to be my fresh start. A clean slate. An opportunity to drop the façade, escape the lies, find a focus, and just be myself.
But I should have realized it wouldn’t be easy, especially when my last name is Kennedy.
I’m not ready to be a gay icon or some celebrity role model. I still haven’t admitted the truth to my family or the girl I professed to love, so there’s no way I want the public to know I’m into dudes.
Falling for my hot, straight, football-player roomie wasn’t part of the game plan.
Neither was backing myself into a corner because I trusted the wrong guy.
Now everything is on the line, and it’s time to stop pretending.

Austen
From the time I was a little kid, all I wanted is to play football in college and play in the NFL. As wide receiver for the Golden Bears, I am on track to achieve my goals, but it comes at a heavy price.
Denying who I am—for the sake of my career—goes against everything I believe.
I should never have listened to my high school coach, because all the lies are suffocating me.
Until Keaton Kennedy enters my life, turning it upside down.
Now, there is even more reason to tell the truth, because I’m falling for the famous one and I want the entire world to know.

This heartwarming, emotional romance has a dash of angst and drama, a sprinkling of humor, and cameos from some of your favorite characters from the series. It is a 100k-word full-length novel, and the second to last book in the Kennedy Boys series. This can be read as a stand-alone novel as it focuses on a new couple; however, it is recommended you start at the beginning of the series for maximum reading enjoyment.

Wow... I loved this one so much!! And I fell head over heels in love with Austen.. what an awesome dude. Can't wait to read Kent's story because he pissed me off so bad in this one.. I don't know if he even is redeemable.. douchebag. I am sure he has his demons and is all kinds of fucked up but that is no excuse for treating you brother like that and using those kinds of words. I am still shocked😲. It's admirable that Keaton was the bigger man.. I would have broken all kinds of bones in Kent's body.

Now saying all this... I am gonna jump into Kent's story and it will probably be the best one out of the series. Knowing me and my big mouth.. he will most likely end up as one of my all time favorite characters. It's how it goes... Let's see if I'm right ;)

(spoiler alert: I was right and Kent is awesome ;) )

FIVE SWEET STARS for Austin and Keaton 💖💜💖💜!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

If someone had told me a year ago that I was going to read my first M/M romance book now and that I will love it, I would have told him he was joking.

But that happens when one of your favorite authors writes a new book and it’s also part of your favorite series.

Siobhan, you did it again!

You made me open my mind to new things and for that I am grateful!

She has the ability to create from the greatest taboo stories like books about Faye and Kyler, a beautiful story in which you will cheer for the main characters no matter how socially unacceptable their relationship was.

"Adoring Keaton" is an emotional college sports romance with friends to lovers and M/M tropes.

Keaton is a male character you can't help but love.

He is aware of what he wants and who he really is, but because of prejudice, he is afraid to admit it even to those closest to him.

His love for family and Austin is endless.

Austin is a male character who, due to the possibility of a future football career, has to hide his true identity that no one knows about except his parents and best friend Gin.

But everything changes when one evening he meets Keaton, his future roommate.

Keaton and Austin's relationship is sweet but also passionate.

I loved their chemistry and interaction with each other and how they complement each other and are always there for each other.

If you love M/M romance and you also love the "The Kennedy Boys" series, then this is the book for you!!!

Highly recommended!!!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.

Web-Photo-Editor “How long have you been into guys, Keats?”
I draw a brave breath before admitting something I’ve never told anyone .
“All my life, man.”
His minty breath fans over my lips as he whispers.
“How long have you been into me?”
My hand gravitates to the back of his head, and I hold him as firmly as he’s holding me.
“From the very first second I met you,”

OMG!! After this book , MM Romance is my Top favourite genre!! Siobhan seriously doesn't hold back in this book , laying out punch after punch of emotions at us , not even giving us time to breathe!!

I have read a few MM Romances and was hesitant to start this one , because this is the first MM Romance by this author. What a fool I was! Just like every other genre , Siobhan Davis has done a phenomenal job in this one too! I absolutely love Keaton and Austen. Their take was raw and is going to stay with me for a long long time.

Keaton is the most politest of the Kennedy's. He was my absolute favourite since the moment he made an appearance in the first book of this series. That man just radiates goodness. Austen is his new best friend and his roommate. He is ridiculously hot and a star football player. Not to mention he has a girlfriend too. Keaton has always kept his sexuality a secret from the whole world. So listing after his taken roommate is something he hates to do. That does not stop his eyes from wandering.

Austen is a star football player. He has his Reputation to keep in mind , so he keeps his sexuality a secret. When one of the famous Kennedy's catches his eye , he can't believe his luck. According to him , a gorgeous guy like Keaton would never look at him. Not to mention that he things that Keaton is straight. Stolen glances and forbidden moments lead to these two confessing their deepest darkest secrets. Soon they both are falling hard and fast! But there are still too many hurdles to cross. Not to mention the whole part of their sexuality being a secret.

I loved the chemistry between these two. They were simply on fire!!! Every word of this book is perfect and if you need a perfect MM Romance with all the feels then look no further , Adoring Keaton is going to grace your top shelves!

The ending of this book was perfect and All the characters are marvelous as usual. Except one. I would really love to throat punch Kent right now. I sort of also feel bad for him. He is too hateful. His book is definitely going to be my top read! I can't wait to know that man's secrets!

This book is a definite recommendation to all the contemporary romance lovers out there who would love a healthy MM Romance! Believe me , the Kennedy's world is perfect for you as each book is better than the last!

Adoring Keaton ✨🍃

This book peeks into LGBT, and it was sweetly done. However, there was a touch of reality....beware there is homophobia , and I find reading it, NEVER to be pretty.

Small issues:

Irritating wordage: The overuse of the word “man” in a couple dove me a bit nuts.
OTT: Drama and miscommunication.

But, what made this book special:

The humor added
The lovable MCs as well as the intriguing SCs.
The storyline was fun, and was done well.
The funny parts , that were well placed and I will most likely never forget💞

Eeeeep! I popped my Siobhan Davis cherry with this sexiness and now I'm completely hooked!!

Adoring Keaton is everything you'll want in a new adult MM romance. It's sexy, exciting, angsty, and has so much heart. The characters are amazing and their journey to unconditional love and acceptance was such a pleasure to witness.

The writing is great. The plot, pace, and setup all perfectly executed. And man oh man, the hook. I am so primed and ready for the next book. That's truly the best thing about a series, right? Falling so hard for the character and universe that you can't wait for the next one to hit your kindle. And that's exactly what this author has done. She thoroughly entertained me and left me wanting just a little bit more. What an amazing feeling!

Full of heart and sexy to boot! Siobhan Davis delivers a emotionally charged and sexy MM novel that will leave readers panting for more! I fear a binge read coming on soon, as I need to know every single thing about the Kennedy boy and this is book 9!! So, if you're considering reading it as a standalone, go for it! Recommended!

We're almost to the end of the Kennedy Boys series, and with Adoring Keaton Siobhan Davis adds another hooking story filled with angst, drama and sexiness about one of the youngest Kennedy boys and his struggle to accept and be comfortable in his own skin.

Siobhan Davis is a very skilled author with many books under her belt. She knows how to write an engaging story with the right blend of the necessary elements: great characters, a setting the reader can picture with detail and a plot that will keep us flipping pages. It comes as no surprise that Adoring Keaton is a great story even if it might be (I haven't read ALL her books) her first M/M romance. My only squabble is that it centers mainly on Keaton's inner battle with himself rather than the love story between him and Austen.

Adoring Keaton is book #9 in the Kennedy Boys series by Siobhan Davis. This is a standalone M/M new adult romance, perfect for The Kennedy Brothers fans. Told from both points of view, with a happy ending.

“To courage and to truth.” Two virtues, one simple but powerful toast - and I can’t think of a better thematic summation of this amazing story. I knew I would love sweet Keaton’s story, but I had no idea the depths to which his story would move me, how Keaton and Austen would totally own my heart. THIS STORY IS EVERYTHING. Keaton and Austen filled me with such love. Adoring Keaton has everything I adore about this amazing series- angst, that Kennedy family drama, a dynamic cast of riveting primary and secondary characters, and the perfect balance of heart, heat, and humor. By those merits alone I would love this story- but Keaton in his quiet and tender way has snuck up on me...and now, Adoring Keaton is tied for my favorite Kennedy story ever. Not only because of its deeply beautiful love story, but because of the important themes Siobhan isn’t scared to explore. Adoring Keaton is courageous in its truth- it is heart-warming, poignant, beautiful and honest.

I already loved Keaton- and his book only made me love him more. I’ve loved the way he loves the ladies in his life- his love for his mama, he’s connection with Faye. He’s always been so sweet and selfless- willing to give up so much for those he loves. But here, we see the price he’s had to pay. Because Keaton has sacrificed more than we could know. He’s hiding in plain sight- hiding his true self, lying to everyone he knows and therefore lying to himself. He’s struggling to come to terms with who he is and what he wants, to find the courage and confidence to be himself. He’s a bit lost- directionless and insecure. And I loved getting to see the inexperienced, emotionally needy side of him- he’s adorably awkward at times, vulnerable and sensitive. He wears his big beautiful heart on his sleeve. Siobhan gives him such complexity, such heart, such emotional resonance- I felt his every word in my heart. I felt such compassion, such love, such pain for him. He just needs someone to see him- and Austen, well Austen more than sees him. He understands his very soul.

While I knew I would love Keaton, I was unprepared for the beautiful creature that is Austen Hayes. Dare I say, Austen may be the most compelling leading man Siobhan has EVER written. I FELL SO IN LOVE WITH HIM. He’s the dreamiest- he’s loyal and honest, so compassionate and intuitive. He understood Keaton’s needs, is in tune with his feelings- and the patient and compassionate way he builds trust with Keaton moved me to tears more than once. He’s self-assured, confident, and self-aware- unlike Keats, he knows who he is and has embraced his identity, even if his current situation has him less than open about it. Austen is the character manifestation of unconditional love- pure, honest, and most importantly, BRAVE. His courage not only inspired me, but inspired Keats- he’s the catalyst to Keats journey, to his growth, and it is so breathtaking to behold. The way this man loves is so beautiful.

The chemistry? I’m not even sure I have words for how beautifully their connection is written. Together- these two are magical. I’ve never swooned so hard for a couple. Siobhan has scribed such a compelling story of TRUE partnership. They are a team. Two people who love each other and support each other. Who communicate and want to lift each other up. The vulnerability, the honesty, the genuine affection they demonstrate for each other- it is magnificent to behold. They both embody such an all-consuming care for one another, a mutual respect and admiration. But what is most moving is how they understand each other- the way they trust, the way they can only be their full selves with the other person, the acceptance and understanding they demonstrate for one another’s self-identity journeys, even though they are both in very different places. This is some of the most compelling, soulful, tender and intimate character chemistry I’ve ever read. Their relationship-I FELT in my soul. This is what it feels like to read about true soul mates. Not to mention- THEY ARE SO HOT TOGETHER. SCORCHING!

I flew through the pages because their love story consumed me- yet I found myself going back and re-reading because I was so enraptured by their magic. I felt transformed by both their joy and pain, moved to tears several times by their emotional range. Their story is hard in places, euphoric in others. The obstacles are many- not only do they both have parts of their past threatening their powerful but risky connection, but other aspects of their identity keep overshadowing and silencing this very important part of who they are. Being a Kennedy, career aspirations, stigmas, trust, and fear all jeopardize how openly they can exist as themselves- and therefore threaten who they can be together. And that leads to some real heartbreak and pain.

The truth of this story is that these two men are each other’s center. They ground the other, amplify the best in each other. But Siobhan doesn’t shy away from being real about what makes their story uniquely, and unfairly, complicated- the role of identity and acceptance. She explores what happens when you find your center before you’ve even really figured out your own path, before you've even accepted your own self. And that is what this makes this story so special. This isn’t just a story about two people falling in love- this is a story about exploring and embracing your own identity. About two people realizing that time spent not being yourself, where you let others limit who you are, is time wasted, time lost. About two people figuring out what acceptance is or is not, and doing the hard, and unjust, work of learning to accept themselves while also feeling repressed in their identities.

Siobhan so brilliantly contrasts their experiences and paths- giving us two living and breathing characters who aren’t stereotypes or archetypes, because both have a very different process and experience. There is a loving authenticity to the way she brings their story to life- it is beautiful, powerful, tender, sweet- but most importantly, it is truthful. There are two scenes in this story that wrecked me- left me shattered and in tears. Two of the most powerful scenes I think Siobhan has ever written. One because of the deep hope and love it inspired in me, the other because of the way its honesty broke my heart. And they are both so incredibly genuine- so real. Somehow Siobhan made their love feel normal and familiar while also giving it space to be unique- to acknowledge that Austen and Keats have barriers that the other Kennedy couples will never experience. And that is so powerful.

Courage. Truth. Traits endemic to any kind of love- traits that are actually universal to the act of loving. But for Keats and Austen, courage and truth aren’t just the core of their story in falling in love with each other. No, they are also core to their story about accepting and loving themselves. And that love story...well, that story may be the greatest love story of all. I'm so in love with Adoring Keaton- I could not ask for a more beautiful story!

I've just recently begun reading MM romances, but I can say with absolute certainty that this will always be my favorite book in this subgenre. I have read the entire Kennedy series, and every snippet we got of Keaton made me want even more of him, and goodness I fell in love with every part of his beautiful, damaged soul. And Austen? That sexy teddy bear OWNED me. These two are beyond perfect for each other; their chemistry, the beautiful friendship & connection they share, the intense sexual attraction, it was all on point. But what really made this book so special for me was his emotional it was. Keats and Austen navigated every obstacle that was thrown at them; Keats not ready to come out to his family & friends, Austen navigating the pros and cons of being one of the few out gay men in the NFL, plus maintaining the extraordinary love these two have for one another.. my god it's just everything you could hope for in a romance!!

I have always loved Keats, especially how he is with the women in his life. He has such a beautiful relationship with his mother and Faye, and he is always willing to sacrifice himself for the ones he loves, but with Austen's love he flourishes into the man he's always wanted to be. He's in so much pain, and has so much guilt for all the lies he's told and the hurt he's caused because of his sexuality, but he knows he needs to be true to himself. He's so adorably awkward too, which was completely endearing!! He's so different from the rest of his siblings, but he's hands down my favorite!!!

Austen is just beyond beautiful in every single way. He sees Keats soul right away, see how beautiful he is and he immediately feels drawn to him, but he also recognizes the pain he's hiding. The way he lifts Keats up in every way -- how he builds his confidence, and makes him embrace who he really is, brought tears to my eyes on numerous occasions. Austen loved Keaton in the purest of ways, in a way that completely rivals anything else. The way he loves him, and the way Keats loves him back is just so fucking beautiful.

And those sex scenes?! HOLY HOT PANTIES ALERT.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Their chemistry was so intense even with the most innocent of touches, but when they got down and dirty, they got DOWN AND DIRTY.

The only thing that made me so ridiculously angry was Kent. By God I wanted to dick punch that man with all my strength. The absolutely horrid things he said to Keats.. how he treated his own brother, his TRIPLET, made me so fucking angry. I have theories as to what pain he's hiding, what trauma he's gone through to make him the way he is, but good gravy am I so furious with him. I know Siobhan will redeem him, but I just can't think about him without shaking with anger. Nothing makes me angrier than a homophobe, and I NEED him to make it right with my baby Keats.😢😢

One thing I truly adore about this authors work is how *real* her characters are to me. That's what makes a truly amazing writer; not only connecting with the characters, but feeling all of their triumphs, all of their pain and love like they are your closest friends. I just can't get enough of this lady's words

If you read any MM romance this year, read this one! You will not regret it!!

Once again, Siobhan Davis shows the depth of her writing style. ADORING KEATON is romantically charged, endearing and so filled with upheaval and raw emotion, one cannot help but feel for these characters. How often do we all wish for unconditional love or a love we do not have to hide?

Ms. Davis brings Keaton and Austen’s story to life as they overcome any obstacle that stands in their way, all to be true to themselves and each other. Often, it isn’t easy to be “different,” but it is heartwarming to know that love can prevail!

Well-written, sensitive and filled with moments of humor, pain and real romance, if you are thinking of trying M/M romance, this is the place to start.

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Siobhan Davis! This is my honest and voluntary review.

💜𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓯𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 𝓞𝓯 𝓐 𝓑𝓲𝓫𝓵𝓲𝓸𝓹𝓱𝓲𝓵𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓮𝔀💜

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 𝟓/𝟓 Overall Rating: Adoring Keaton, is book nine in the Kennedy Boys Series, and Siobhan Davis’s first dip into the world of M/M romance! Although Adoring Keaton can be read as a standalone, as it focuses on an entirely new Kennedy and couple, I would recommend starting at the beginning of the series to better enjoy and understand the Kennedy’s and all that comes with their world, as well as to also avoid any spoilers from previous books if you intend to eventually read them. With that being said, HOLY FREAKING HOTNESS Ms. Davis!!! Sheesh... I thought with this being her first venture into M/M that she would like be dipping a toe into that world... heck no, she didn't even test the waters before jumping in headfirst and I am LOVING it!! I'm a HUGE Siobhan Davis fan, if she writes it, I'm reading it and Adoring Keaton was a wonderful addition to the Kennedy Boys Series. If you're looking for a heartwarming, low angst, M/M romance, with a whole lot of steam, and just enough drama to keep you hooked then Adoring Keaton is the book for you.

❝𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆’𝒔 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒆𝒍𝒔𝒆.❞

I’m not going to give a rundown of the plot like I normally do because I don’t feel like it’s needed. The blurb tells you pretty much all you need to know about this one and what it doesn’t say, I don’t want to spoil.
❝𝑨𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒖𝒑 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒓, 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒕. “𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒖𝒚𝒔, 𝑲𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒔?”

💙 Keaton Kennedy: After reading all of the released books in the Kennedy Boys Series I felt like I knew Keaton. I was wrong. This poor boy was so much more troubled than I ever realized. From reading the last few books in the series it was clear to see that Keaton was struggling, with what we weren’t sure. All those questions are answered in Adoring Keaton . For years he’s struggled and been suppressing who he really is and because of that, he’s been kind of aimless. He’s in college and doing everything he’s supposed to do but he doesn’t feel like he has a purpose, a passion, a goal. He lacks the confidence to become the person he’s meant to be and until he finally embraces his identity and sexuality, that won’t change.
❝…𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉, 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅.❞
💙 Austen Hayes: Austin is such a sweetheart. I literally have nothing bad to say about Keaton or Austen, they are just really honest, and genuinely good guys. Austen was exactly the type of person that Keaton needed to help support him in becoming the person he wants to be. I loved that Austen was so understanding that everything as far as coming out and being an openly gay man and in a relationship with another man was so new to Keaton and he never pushes him, being nothing but supportive. I loved his “straight-talking and dirty mouth” as much as Keaton does!

❝𝑰’𝒎 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂 𝒈𝒖𝒚.”
“𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒖𝒚, 𝑲𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒔. 𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒗𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂 𝒈𝒖𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆.❞
🔥🔥🔥🔥 𝟒/𝟓 Romance & Steam: These two had off the wall chemistry. There was always an attraction between them, even before they came out together. Once Austen started rooming with Keaton things went very quickly. Austen was exactly the type of man that Keaton needed to help pull him out of his shell and Keaton has so much unconditional love that Austen needs. The ONLY thing I would have liked to have seen was a little bit longer of the attraction/will they or won’t they phase and even though it’s probably just me but when Austen and Keaton were talking to each other and kept calling each other “man” instead of like pet names like baby or something it just made it sound like they were talking to a friend instead of a lover ya know what I mean? “Man” was used a lot and it bugged me a little LOL, again it’s probably just me but it was weird. 🤷‍♀️
❝𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒎𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒑-𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒖𝒕, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝑰’𝒍𝒍 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆.❞

❥𝟚❥ Secondary Characters: Austen’s friend Colton, I adore him! He was such a complete sweetheart and so understanding when Austen finally admitted that he was gay, although Colton had already figured it out. I’d love to see Colton get his own story too because he was just suchhh a GOOD guy. I always love being able to catch up with the rest of the Kennedy bunch, especially my first true love Kennedy’s, Faye and Kyler. After seeing the two of them again in Adoring Keaton, I’m thinking I may need a re-read of a certain trilogy ASAP!
❝𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒛𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒚𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑲𝒚𝒍𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒕 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒂 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍.❞🌪 Cliffhanger Warning: Nope, no cliffhanger! Adoring Keaton wraps up with a HEA. But we get a little taste of what’s to come next in Kent, the bad boy, black sheep, and last of the triplets’ story, Reforming Kent, and I am LIVING for his story! I love the little troublesome bad boy, I always have but in Adoring Keaton… he’s made me soooooo extremely mad at him. If he didn’t prove to me why I loved him so much back in Keanu and Selena’s story then I’d probably hate him for real. But from the little tease we got of what’s to come in his story, I think (I hope!!) Kent has met his match with Presley!

Blogger Note: Anyone who follows my reviews knows that MM romance isn’t something I normally review or am that familiar with (although after reading Adoring Keaton, that may be changing!) so, you may have noticed that where I usually have HERO and HEROINE, I instead just changed it to the guy’s names. 🤷‍♀️ I was trying to think of something to put there, like protagonist and protagonist’s love interest, but it just didn’t look… right? To me. So I went with just using their names, if anyone has a better idea (or understanding?) of what I SHOULD put there instead of when reviewing M/M romance, PLEASE feel free to comment or direct message me because I’ve looked around and I couldn’t figure it out so I figured the way I did it would be the least offensive if that makes sense. If not, just ignore this note altogether, I’m hormonal and could possibly be making it a bigger deal then necessary. LOL 🤦

An emotionally charged and achingly beautiful MM romance that will put you through the wringer. The HEA won’t come easy. The journey will test you, but the love will keep you pushing through.

In true Kennedy fashion, Keaton’s happily ever after won’t come easy. Accepting his true self and then dealing with the fall out will put his new relationship to the test. This is a story about embracing who your are and owning it because you are worth it and you deserve happiness.

Keaton knew who he was, but sharing it with everyone else was a challenge he was too afraid to face. It was hard enough for him to come to terms with it. However, falling in love with the right guy would give him the courage he needed to tell his family and friends his truth.

Austen has always been comfortable in his own skin. When he started college, he was told to keep his sexuality a secret from his football team so as not to limit his options for the future. Hiding who he is is slowly destroying him. It’s time for everyone to know. But protecting Keaton comes first, because loving him is what matters.

Both men are struggling in their own way, but they have each other. Together they have passion and love, but outside influences are causing additional complications. From blackmail to ex’s, their new relationship is being tested. Sometimes you have to break something to build it again stronger.

Life is messy and this couple tackled it all. It wasn’t pretty. They faced narrow-minded slurs and judgment because of who they loved. Not to mention betrayals and opportunists. However, they fought back. We watched Keaton grow into a confident man who was willing to fight for his forever. They shared amazing chemistry and a love that never wavered even when torn apart.

I love the Kennedy’s. This family is loyal and loving, but drama seems to follow them. They do whatever they can to protect their own. You’ll get some answers but be left with some questions. I enjoyed catching up with them and I look forward to uncovering Kent’s secrets when he tells his own story in the final book.

Absolutely everything I was waiting for. Adoring Keaton was one of my MOST anticipated books this year and it did NOT disappoint! I loved the connection between the characters, but that they also went through "coming out" process together. It was nice to see them share that experience together, to have both of those feelings together allowed them to be able to see where the other was coming from and gave patience to each other and their relationship. As with every book you're also given some insight into the next brothers book and now I am just as much salivating for the next book in the series. This entire series has been an absolute stand out, every single book from this series on TalkNerdy2me's Must Reads List

I peck his lips. "I love you."
"I love you too."
His words imprint on my soul for all eternity, and a serene senses of peace infiltrates every part of my body. It's deep contentment, and I know Keaton is my endgame.

Probably the easiest 5 stars from me. There's almost nothing new in this. It is the typical college romance where the rich closeted gay guy falls hard for his hot roommate who may or may not flirts him back. The catch: said roommate has a girlfriend back home. My expectations were really low for this one because I don't really read romances set in school/college. I just asked to give me a romance that will make me swoon. This book literally went beyond that. We got family drama, Keaton's coming out story, him having this complex feelings towards his roomie, Austen, and so much more. The only tragedy here is that we have 10 books in this series and only one of them is gay. I'm fucking so sad.

"Our tongues meet in languid strokes, and I quickly get lost in his kiss, because it's like coming home."

It had a lot of potential. But I felt like I was reading a mf book that got turned into a mm book. I also didn’t like that the characters kept calling eachother ‘man’ every other sentence.

I liked that it was a long book, and i liked both of the mc’s. What I didn’t like was the using of words that I’ve never even heard anyone say in such informal setting. And I didn’t like the very lengthy and many declarations of how much they loved and admired eachother. For me that was to sappy and not realistic at all. And every problem they encountered got solved so easy and without a hitch.

I don’t like long seperations at the end of books. I think they take away from the romance, and I feel like if you can do 20 months without eachother or trying to fix it you really shouldn’t get back so easily.

It's been a hot minute since I read any books in the Kennedy Boy series. You do not need to read any of the other books to read this one. However, there are spoilers in this book of what has happened in previous books. So if you don't want anything to be ruined, then I would highly suggest reading them all in order (don't worry – it's truly worth it).

I was pleasantly surprised with Adoring Keaton. This is Siobhan's first MM romance (I have read others before so this wasn't a deterrent for me). What I found surprising was the difference in the suspense was with this one was but I still thoroughly enjoyed it just as much. A lot of the other Kennedy stories have a action suspense to them, whereas this one had an emotional suspense. But I was still just as engaged in this one because of the deep attraction and the chemistry between Keaton and Austen. It was off the charts HAWT!

Siobhan Davis really writes some compelling and real characters. Keaton and Austen are true testaments to that. I love who they both are individually and together. Keaton has always hidden who he was because of the lime light on his family and he always put others and their needs before himself. Austen has owned he is since high school, but has also kept a low profile because of recommendations he followed from someone he respected.

This story was written through both Keaton and Austen's POV, which really added in being able to understand both characters better and get a deeper connection to them. This story starts off with them being friends and slowly, over time things become more. There are a lot of unknowns that these two fight against but I love that it's their support of each other and their love that helps them battle most of them. Siobhan did a great job of having these characters have real and raw fears and strong emotions surrounding their situation. She brings in real life outlook on things and that helps makes this story all the more authentic.

Adoring Keaton is another 5 star read for me. This story is extremely written and flows at a beautiful pace. Even if you don't read MM romances, I highly urge anyone to read this one. You will be pleasantly surprised but how easily you fall in love with Keaton and Austen.

Adoring Keaton is the perfect addition to the Kennedy Boys series. Siobhan Davis has delivered another amazing story with Keaton and Austen.

Keaton is 1/3 of the Kennedy triplets. He’s y’all, dark and sexy as sin. Women throw themselves at his feet at every turn. He’s hiding who he is from the world.

Austen Hayes is a tattooed, football star with a huge secret. Telling the world you’re gay is hard enough, but imagine being a football player in the spotlight.

These two may just be my new Kennedy favorite couple. The attraction and chemistry they have jumps off the pages. The amount of respect and admiration they have for each other is amazing to see. Each know what they want, but both scared to tell the world who they are. The lies are starting to take a toll on both of them.

Oh, the drama! It would not be a the Kennedy family without some drama. In the middle of some of it is of course Kent. While this is Keaton’s book Davis does a perfect job at setting his story up.

Keaton’s growth in this book is amazing to watch. He goes from being this 20 year old kid to a 21 year old man. I know what your thinking, what’s the difference in an age? It’s not the age that’s the difference, it’s Keaton himself. When this story starts out, Keaton doesn’t know who he is. He found himself. While it took hard break to do so, it’s exactly what he needed. Sometimes in life we have to break and put ourselves back together. Austen has some soul searching and realities he need to face as well. He was living his own lie.

Keaton’s story is addicting and captivating. I could not get enough of Austen and Keats. Davis has delivered an amazing read full of angst and heart. She reminds us that love isn’t easy and you have to fight for it.

Even in a series with a cast of phenomenal couples there is always one couple that stands out and in the case of the Kennedy Boys series that couple is Keaton and Austin!

Sweet and sexy this couple brought all the angst of fighting to be who they were and loving who they wanted into the thick of their attraction. In true Siobhan Davis style their love did not come without its fair share of hurdles and cruel manipulations but what stood out was this pair's personal interactions remained pure of heart and without guile, genuine to their characters. Both Keaton and Austin had all the makings of being a hero even as their love for each other and themselves put earning that title to the test. This author laid down a strong foundation for this couple's love but it was her awareness of timing in the progression of this relationship and the need for her heroes to mature and evolve as individuals that showed her sensitivity and sophistication as a writer.

Nothing is perfect in the love lives of Siobhan Davis portrayals. Her plots are complex with lots of unexpected developments as she unabashedly shows the less than flattering side of love right alongside with the ideal side of love. What you can always be assured of with this writer is that her characters end up with a worthy match. This work continues to show this author's aptitude for taking on sensitive topics with compassion. Siobhan Davis brings achingly tender romance to her work Adoring Keaton for an unforgettable love story!

*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.*

*While this work can be read as a stand-alone, for an overall enhanced reading experience reading the previous books in this series is suggested.*

If you are a fan of the Kennedy boys series, or Siobhan Davis in general, you need to read this book. It might be the best she’s ever written.

I was truly lucky to get to read a beta version of this book. I love having that privilege, because I can't get enough of Siobhan's books, so being able to get to read them before anyone else, well I love getting my grabby hands on them!!!

I DEVOURED this book. This is the book I've been waiting for. Keaton was always my favorite of the Kennedy boys. Always. I loved the friendship that he and Faye had, and how gentle he was. I have been WAITING for this book, and man it just was everything I could have hoped for and more. I've never read a M/M romance before, but every time I read a new genre or trope I'm not sure about, if it's Siobhan Davis she makes me fall in love with it. And that's what she did for this as well. I found myself really loving the genre- not that I expected to have problems. I am an ally to the LGBTQ community, and fully support people of different sexual orientations and non-binary identities. But I wasn't sure how I would feel about the intimate scenes. Well, I loved them!

I just could not get ENOUGH of these two hot, sweet, guys! Adoring Keaton is the perfect title, the way that Austen adored Keaton, just made me melt.

I about died during a certain section because she BROKE MY HEART, but I realize that it was what was best for the characters, and I think I've forgiven her for my bruised heart. I think this may have been the best book that Siobhan has ever written. It's certainly one of my favorite books written by her, as well as one of my favorites in this series.

All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. I was not compensated in any way for this review.

If there’s two things I love in this book community, it’s Siobhan Davis and MM romance. So when she confirmed that Keaton is gay and his book would be MM, I just about died and I knew she would kill it. Now after having read Adoring Keaton, I can say my initial reaction was spot on.

I have loved the Kennedy family since day one, high drama and all. Keaton has always held such a special place in my heart because you just knew, KNEW that he was so good. From his close relationship with Faye, to the way he adores his mother, and the way he’s so selfless, it was so obvious as to the type of man he would become. But oh, the struggles he has had to face. The doubt, the self loathing, the worrying. My sweet boy has been through the wringer.

But then here comes this beautiful man and completely upends everything in Keats’ life. I love Austen. LOVE him. He is everything that Keaton needed and wanted, especially at such a pivotal time in his life. The way these two came together was perfect and I loved watching their relationship grow and transform.

Their journey isn’t without strife though and these two experience plenty of heartache along the way. Just as some parts of their journey are happy and joyous, hot and steamy, others are agonizing and painful. But it’s all so worth it in the end.

I know that many readers aren’t familiar with or aren’t fans of MM romance, and that’s okay. But, if you’re willing to take a chance, do so with Keaton and Austen. Siobhan Davis is one of the best storytellers in this industry and the way she’s penned their story is nothing short of beautiful. Keaton and Austen have such an incredible story and the way they love each other is amazing. It’s romance at its finest and the story of two people loving each other so wholly and so unconditionally. Keaton and Austen love each other with the same fierceness and protectiveness that the rest of the Kennedy boys and their women love each other with.

As the penultimate book in one of my favorite series, it is the perfect addition to this crazy family!

So I have to be up in three hours for work but Adoring Keaton was worth it.
Keaton’s story was one that had everyone on their edge of their seat...in anxious anticipation. Siobhan Davis did not leave me disappointed.
Keaton’s story was emotional and angsty and ragey but it’s just what his story called for. Davis really transported you into his head as he warred internally with the struggle of not only truly accepting himself but the stress over if others would. My heart ached for him, raged for him, and melted for him. Oh and Austen was absolute perfection... sweet, warm, sexy as all get out, encouraging, and much more I couldn’t have dreamed a more perfect match for Keaton. I could continue poetically waxing on about Keaton and Austen but their story is one you need to experience for yourself to truly enjoy.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

First of all, I love all the Kennedy boys! Keaton has always been in my mind since the first book. We got clues about him from the very first Kennedy boys book, and I've always felt for him and looked forward to reading his story.

This book and this story was just what I needed now after a few weeks of feeling numb due to all the stuff happening all around the world. Even so, this book is a book and a story that our whole world needs! Our society needs this! Every school needs to have this book in their english courseworks.

Enough about what everyone needs and more about this book.
Lets start with the writing: it was amazing! The way Siobhan Davis got her words out and gave life to her characters amazes me! Siobhan is such a skilled author and I admire her art, because that's what this book was, a work of art. Both because of her use of words but also because of the way she tells the story.

Back to Keaton. Oh what a sweet boy.
What about Austen? Oh what an amazing boyfriend!

This book gave me all the feels, I cried and I laughed my heart out.

I don't feel like spoiling more of the book, or spoiling at all. You just have to take my word for it, this book is well worth the one-click and read!

I have enjoyed every book in this amazing series, and Keaton's story is one of my favorites. I loved Keaton and Austen, and I just wanted everything to work out for them. But it wouldn't be a Kennedy Boys book without all that delicious heartbreaking drama. And drama there was. It was so great getting to catch up with all the characters from the other books, especially Faye and Ky. I truly want to throttle Kent, but I'm also looking forward to his book so I can finally understand why he is the way he is. I have my theories, but Siobhan always manages to shock me with her story lines in the absolute best way.

I absolutely LOVED this MM romance! I am so sad that this series of brothers is coming to an end. Each book has all of the beloved characters who I've come to know over the course of the series, and this book was no different.

I fell SO HARD for both Keaton, the sensitive triplet, and Austen, the confident football player. Their relationship was so natural, so easy, so HOT; and I loved every interaction between them whether they were just hanging out "being guys" or experiencing their love life between the sheets. It was apparent from the beginning that they both had deep feelings for the other that initially grew from lust and physical attraction to genuine love and compassion. What I loved about them was their loyalty and protective nature they had for each other. They challenged one another without pushing too far, and were so supportive of each other. Yes - they had many rocky challenges thrown at them, and I loved the suspenseful aspect of their story - but in the end, their HEA had my heart swelling!!!!

This is a gut-wrenching heartbreaker at times, you will swoon, sigh and shed tears for these characters; but at the end of it all, you will be grinning ear to ear for these two guys who faced their demons and fears to get their HEA!!! Well done S. Davis! I will reread these two time and again.
