Fully of the angelic realms, unicorns live in the seventh dimension, the seventh heaven. These beautiful creatures are aspects of the divine, in the same way angels are. While angels work through the heart, unicorns work with the soul and help you fulfill your pre-life contracts through their energy.
In The Wonder of Unicorns Diana Cooper explains ancient myths and legends of these amazing energetic beings from a higher spiritual perspective. Who are they, these seventh-dimensional creatures of myth and magic? Where do they stand in the angelic hierarchy and what is their role with regard to us humans? Prevalent in the times of Atlantis, unicorns open hearts through bringing in joy, wisdom, and healing. They offer protection and support and inspire us to choose actions for the highest benefit of all. Consciously connecting and working with your unicorn will enable you to raise your energetic level and assist you on your journey to enlightenment. Create a unicorn humming ball, engage in a unicorn healing, or join in dream work with your unicorn.
Whether aspiring to help the world at large or simply improve a small corner of it, enlightenment seekers can apply the meditations, rituals, ceremonies, and games featured in this book to unleash the great abilities of these elusive spirit guides. With wonderful real life stories and anecdotes from people who have seen and experienced unicorns first hand, The Wonder of Unicorns is a book to inspire and empower you on your spiritual path.

Really "out there" with strange spirituality tying in with the idea of the indigo children, crystal children, etc. However, there was some real mythology in there, too, and the book had a very positive tone that really uplifted me about my current life situation. I don't recommend this for skeptics. I had to read it because I'm obsessed with unicorns.

This book helped me so much. I understand now how Unicorn energy is helping me on my Spiritual journey. This book may seem "out there" to anyone not resonating with higher dimensions, but it made perfect sense to me.

This book is so special. I loved that Diana choose to add meditations after each chapter.

Made Me a Believer: A Review of Diana Cooper's The Wonder of Unicorns
"Now I will believe there are Unicorns."
The Tempest, Act III, Scene III, William Shakespeare
I must confess that before I read The Wonder of Unicorns, I hadn't given them much thought. Basically, I relegated them to the realm of the supernatural; I had never “seen” one in this 3-D reality, but I also did not dis-believe others who not only “saw” unicorns but discussed how they were an integral part of their lives. As a life-long horse lover, who had the great fortune to be partners with a number of noble steeds, I regarded unicorns as the embodiment of equines who had passed over. Therefore, I was delighted to read that “Every horse is a trainee unicorn . . .” (Cooper, 118) as well as other stories of horses who transitioned and then ascended to the status of unicorns! Let me just say, as a skeptic with a genuinely open mind, this read piqued my curiosity about unicorns and motivated me to do further research about them.
It is difficult to summarize Cooper's book as it is part a narrative, part reference, and part interactive workbook. Cooper's discussion of unicorns encapsulated in 43 chapters and covers an exhaustive range of topics from their various roles in the angelic realm, their history on earth, their relationships with beings on earth, and much, much more. Each chapter opens with a soothing color illustration by Damian Keenan and concludes with a range of exercises or activities, which brings the chapter into the experiential/interactive realm. For example, in chapter 2, Cooper focuses on how the reader “can meet [their] unicorn.” and provides a visualization activity to enable this event. I tried the activity three times and met my unicorn, a spirited purple and white being named Exequiel on the third attempt.. While the skeptic in me wondered if this was simply an overactive imagination, I was intrigued enough to engage in other activities, which resulted in further validation that I was NOT imagining the existence or assistance unicorns were willing to render me! For example, when I sought “protection” (p. 105) before going to bed, I noticed I seemed to sleep better (i.e., woke up fewer times in the night, slept more deeply, and awoke more rested) than when I did not seek protection. While one might quickly attribute my response to a “self-fulfilling prophecy,” only time will tell. Because I err on the side of skepticism, I am not inclined to believe that I “wanted” to believe unicorns could protect me. Because I approached this text as Cooper having to convince me of their existence, I was very surprised at some of the outcomes and admittedly delighted.
While I read the book straight through (for the purposes of writing this review) in much the same way that one might read a novel, I actually found this to not be the most efficient way to use this resource. Cooper covers an extraordinary number of topics related to unicorns and each chapter, though short, is dense (but accessible) with information. I appreciated the text much more and found it far more helpful to seek it out for particular questions or situations. For example, when I wondered how unicorns could assist me in my spiritual and emotional healing, I consulted the healing chapter specifically. Again, I was not disappointed, and I have started relying on it as a reference to be consulted as needed.
Additionally, and beyond the purview of this review, I chose to pair Diana Cooper's Unicorn Cards with this book. Interestingly, after reading the chapter on “Unicorn Signs,” which discusses the signs unicorns will leave, mainly via white feathers, to indicate their presence, I pulled the card, “8” Feathers twice in a row despite thoroughly shuffling the deck. The card affirms that unicorns are in my presence and will leave various signs and that week; I did notice signs, not necessarily white feathers, but feathers of different colors and one or two unicorn figurines in gift shops or paintings! Of course, the book can standalone, but the cards added augmented the book seamlessly touching on many of the same topics as in the book. Damian Keenan is the same illustrator for the cards and text, so their pairing seems even more fitting.
Whether you consider yourself spiritual or not, a believer in unicorns or not, The Wonder of Unicorns will have you thinking and raising thoughtful questions about your life. It would make a wonderful gift and some of the exercises encourage participation of family and friends. If you are one open to the miracle of possibilities and the sense of love and comfort that unicorns can bring to your life, this book makes an excellent entry point.

DNF - couldn't stomach the content. Be wary of this book, and take it with a huge grain of salt. It does contain a good amount of actual mythology, but the spiritual aspects of it are completely guided by Christianity and Christian Paganism. It's angel and god heavy, as well as a healthy amount of guilt-ridden guidance and condescension. It's solely a "love and light, higher vibrations" toxic positivity spiritualism book. It also contains no citations whatsoever. It's nowhere near reviewed or edited. Instructions, definitions and statements are rudimentary, dimensionless and grossly oversimplified. There is no grey area, only black and white thinking. I found this an incredibly disappointing and unhelpful read.

Yksisarvisen hahmo sai tätä kirjaa lukiessani monia uusia ulottuvuuksia.
