First of all this is not a uni-kitten but a caticorn. As the Mother of Unicorns, they're basically relatives so I would know, and if you say otherwise I will have my babies fart glitter in your sorry faces.

Secondly, the book was more entertaining than I thought it would be.

Yumoyori Wilson has great imagination. She has the best ideas, the best blurbs and a really joyful way of telling stories. And while she tends to add dramatic background her characters, her books are always sparkly, colorful
Where can I get a fucking uni-kitten?

S.S.S: Year One was a pretty cute little reverse harem book. Silver and the guys started off not knowing each other and then forming a team at this spy academy. From there, they all wanted to date her and she's all like - why the hell not? Of course everyone looked at them weird.. plus it didn't help that her creepy ex douche of a boyfriend went to the same spy academy. Also, her ex two faced friend was there as well.

If I said I was shocked about her ex boyf

Oh my! I got more than I expected when I purchased SSS year one.. This reverse harem supernatural romance wasn't smutty. There were real connections and there was definitely romance. The story actually had a great plot and the group were a support group for each other, showing genuine caring and love be that in a platonic way (between the males) and a romantic way, with Silver.

I really liked the fact that as well as the characters being various kinds o
OK, so I tried out another of Song’s books, hoping I’d be able to give a higher rating.

No dice.

I really wanted to enjoy all these books which sound like they should be right up my alley, but while the premise is good, the execution brings it down, and the patchy plot at best is the final nail in the coffin.

The heroine of this, Silver Spell Solange, is a special-snowflake type, just like the other heroine of the other novel I read of hers: Blazing Academy. She has powerful magic, and apparently
Silver is a witch with the dream to attend the S.S.S. (Supernatural Spy School). The problem is that they only accept shifters and she isn't one. Silver applies anyway and leaves her shifter status blank. When she and her team of 4 hunky shifters pass an impossible acceptance trial, she is surprised to be admitted into the school and she even gets to keep her supportive team. They face several more trials before the end of the year including facing off against Silver's douchy exboyfriend.

OMG this book is absolutely fantastic!!! From the very first page the story really sucks you in as you get to know Silver and all the amazing things that make her so remarkable. The writing is superb at really bringing the story to life and the dialogue had me laughing, getting mad, and all sorts of other emotions. I was totally immersed in this new world and I really did not want it to ever end yet alas I know it had to. For the record I so need a uni-kitten now!!! A total must read!!!! I total ...more

I'm not normally one for academy books, usually I find them rather tedious and 100% predictable. Well that just goes to show, that you should never judge a book by its cover genre or trope!

What can you say about a perfectly crafted world where you are immediately immersed in not only the characters but The Whole concept that is coming to life before our very eyes.

I always enjoy Yumoyori's worlds! Each and everyone that I've been lucky enough to visit, is so thorough, colo

This was a pretty cute RH. I loved the spy academy setting. Every one who knows me knows I love uni-kitties (or caticorns) so I was pretty pleased to find one in a book.

There's a unique assortment of shifters; dragon, werewolf, hellhound, and fallen angel. I loved watching Silver and her men work together as they navigate the school and their newfound relationship.

There's some excitement, action, and romance. It's definitely a fun book and i'm looking forward to the next one.

The Supernatural Spy Academy starts off with a really cool concept. With an origin of many super hero world stories, there was a change that spread throughout earth which changed people into witches and other supernatural creatures. starts well but the last half is almost pure porn

I should have known what the book was going to be like when the heroine Silver blithely says, “Four big cocks are better than one, you know” to some other female students. If that sounds to you like an interesting conversation, you may enjoy this book. If not, just stop reading here. I kept reading, hoping that dialogue wasn’t typical for the book. Silly me.

The book’s setup sounded interesting: witch girl is trying to be the first non-shifter to a

SSS: Year One by Yumoyori Wilson is book one in the Supernatural Spy Academy Series that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel.

This is the first book of Yumoyori’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I cannot wait until SSS: Year Two is released on audio. However, I may not be able to wait that long and will have to buy it on kindle or paperback.

Lacy did a great job narrating. I really enjoy her different voices she uses for each character. It makes it really easy to
SSS – Supernatural Spy Academy: Year One is the introduction of a new series by Yumoyori Wilson. In this book I was introduced to Silver Spell Solange. She’s a witch with the dream to attend the SSS Academy. This school is for shifters only. Witches/Mages have attempted to attend in the past…and failed. But this is Silver’s dream and one that she told to her father before he took sick and passed away from a magical disease. 3.5 stars! I finished this book and wasn't quite sure what to say review wise. This Plot was on POINT! It was good, entertaining, most of it was fast paced enough to really keep me riveted and then there were certain times that things slowed down to a crawl. While puttering around trying to think of what really need to be said I started reading the reviews and found that someone already said everything I was thinking. That happens sometimes. As of right now, having just finished the book, I'm undecided whether I'll read the next one. I probably will if it isn't as long as this one. I'm not sure the way she condensed the whole year into one book is something I'd want to read again.

I liked parts of this book a lot; however, overall, I wasn't that sucked in. There were parts of this story that seemed like they moved extremely quickly, but then other parts moved so slowly. Parts of the relationship just seemed to pop into existence, ki

I have been on such a huge academy kick the last couple of week and I am loving them! This one was really good. Not my favorite but I did enjoy it. I love that Silver is a witch. I love that she is the first witch to be in SSS. I think that is going to make this series so interesting. I also LOVE her guys. Each guy was so unique. And hellooo we get a freaking hellhound! I am beyond excited about that! The only thing that was a negative for me was the way the book skipped most of the first year. ...more

This was an amazing start to a Supernatural Spy School that trains its students to become the best in the world. Sliver Solange has always wanted to be a spy but being a witch she is unable to attend as she's not a shapeshifter but through determination and the help of her new teammates slash boyfriends she'll give it her everything she has. Great plot, interesting characters, humorous dialogue.

I enjoyed the insta-friendship in this one. It was nice for the main character, who had such a crappy childhood, to finally have friends she could trust. The romance wasn't quite as instant, but still happened pretty quickly. I felt like the author pulled it off well without it seeming like a trope.

The whole spy thing combined with the academy setting was fun. The various types of supernaturals kept it interesting.

Long, but worth it.

When I first started reading this I wasn’t sure whether I’d like it, but after Silver’s first encounter in the alley I knew that I wanted to continue.

Silver is a semi-complicated character who has a kind soul and an open heart. Her guys are each wounded souls in their own way, just like she is, and I liked the way they opened up to each other, well Silver, about their struggles. There are two characters who look like they’re going to be the antagonists for the book (if not the

The Quick and Dirty: Silver is an extraordinarily powerful witch who is trying to get into a school meant only for supernaturals. When she gets her acceptance letter, she knows she's going to have to bust her butt to prove herself, especially when she'll have to contend with her ex who also attends. She may have a little help though; in the form of 4 hot and very protective shifters.

Surprisingly good and predictably sigh-worthy. Both at the same time.

I developed a pretty small but long history with RH genre. It's a niche and specific and weird enough I stumbled upon it and alternatively avoid but don't entirely give up. Having your lead try their hand with multiple partners can be entertaining and pretty romantic, not to mention refreshing after reading a whole book centred around an indecisive character that just CAN't untangle their love triangle/square or whatnot. Wilson never fails to amaze me with her intricate world building, in depth plots and fantastic characters. While there is a similarity to her stories (you know the same author penned them) they each stand alone in terms of breadth and narrative. This one, a first person, single POV RH, ventures further into the academy genre, inviting lovers of paranormal of get sucked into a school for gifted spies. I would give this 2.5 stars because the novel is so riddled with grammatical and editing errors that it was difficult to stay in the story. The story, minus the gratuitous graphic sexual content, was intriguing. A team of 5 ppl who randomly met on the first day of school become friends/family and dominate their student competition and villains because of it. The hero characters were interesting and sympathetic. The villains were appropriately vile. I was irked by their continual failure to focus ...more

3.5 stars not exactly about the school

I do like this book, but there were some things that I did have problems with.

First Silver is a bit Mary Sue, everything goes well for Silver, everyone but her enemy loves Silver, she can do no wrong. That doesn’t mean bad stuff hasn’t happened to Silver, it has, but she is still very Mary Sue, goody two shoes. However, for this type of book I enjoyed the lightness.

As to the harem, the guys are sweet and adorable but it was just too easy how they all got tog
Agh! I've never been so torn in my life!

One side of me insists that I gave this book a pass for the great world-building and plot that has quite a lot of potential, and yet another part of me just couldn't stomach the immature narration and characters behaviour. Although I did end up finishing it in one go, I am not sure I can handle the next instalments. While the characters were supposedly old enough (heroine is 22 years old) they sounded and acted like a bunch of horny teenagers, which in ter
Yumoyori's newest series, Supernatural Spy Academy, is off to an amazing start with S.S.S.: Year One. I absolutely loved this story!

Silver is a great character. I love her tenacity, ability to look on the bright side, and her kind heart. She looks after those she cares about and will do anything to achieve her goals. When she finally gains a shot at becoming a student in the academy of her dreams, four male shifters enter her life and help her with her dreams. Their relationship, mostly just a

Yumoyori has pulled me from my reverse harem funk with this enthralling supernatural academy series.

I've always been a huge fan of Yumoyori.
And have read several of her books (but have gotten behind lately).
The cover for this story and the hype surrounding it drew my attention and I just had to see what all the fuss was about for myself.
And I'm so glad that I did.

Silver Spell Solange, or Blossom as she's called by her teammates, is a high-level witch.
