Kacie Main woke up on a blurry Saturday morning, put a hand to her throbbing head, and started to recall the events from the night before. Oh shit, she thought as the evening played back spottily in her head like a Netflix movie during a storm. I can't believe I made out with David. She pulled a pillow over her face and tried to go back to sleep, not yet ready to face thos ...more

A great read for anyone on a journey of seeking self-love and happiness. The author unveils her story of reclaiming self-identity and showcases the work she put-in to improve her quality of life. As someone who struggles with forgiving their past-self, I found this book refreshing. I felt like I was not alone. This book provides readers a space to evaluate life-style choices that may be prohibiting them from their life purpose. This book addresses deep, important topics in a relaxing and enterta ...more

If you've ever wondered about your life's purpose, or taken a huge leap of faith to change your circumstances, or wanted desperately to take that leap of faith but were too fearful to try, this book is for you. If you've ever had your heart broken or broken a heart; ever needed compassion or wished you were more compassionate with friends; ever felt unhappy even though on paper you "should" be fulfilled, this book is for you. If you've ever had a quarter-life crisis, or a mid-life crisis, or rea ...more

I could not put this book down! It truly felt like Kacie was hanging out with me while I read this. I feel inspired and motivated after this read as she taught me new ways of thinking and not only what true self love is, but how to achieve it. I have many pages marked and underlined. Anyone in any stage of life can relate and learn from this book. Thank you, Kacie, I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next!

I loved this author's first book. Her transparency about finding herself was refreshing. A great read for all women interested in learning about relationships and the road you travel to find "Mr. Right".

A Must Read!

I literally couldn't put this book down! The author's rawness in regards to her 40 day journey was a whirlwind of emotions and experiences. It is funny, motivating, provocative (basically has it all!). Hoping for a sequel!

The title caught my attention, as did Kacie's Instagram profile. I read a few of her articles and liked her style, so I was excited to buy an early copy of the e-book.

Kacie bares her thoughts and feelings throughout a journey she sets on when she finally realizes - courtesy of a motivational video she hears sort of by mistake while at the gym one day - that she isn't happy. It makes no sense to her at first, because on paper she has it (almost) all: she's social, she has a great apartment by th

I have wrote in journals since I was 6 years old, but would I ever want to share them with the world? That's a big no. That's why I loved Kacie Main's book - she was so vulnerable, honest, and open about her life. It wasn't always about her romantic life either. It was her family life, jobs, exercising. There's so much pressure that we put on ourselves sometimes to be on a certain path and Kacie really took time to reflect on her life to make herself happy. This book isn't about "hating" men or ...more

I spent years successfully wandering through jobs but always trying to figure out “what I want to be when I grow up.” As my career path zigged and zagged, writing was always there, lurking in the background patiently waiting it's turn. Then at 32 years old, the patience ran out. I didn’t sit down to write this book. It jumped out of me at perhaps the worst, best, most confusing, and most liberatin ...more
