I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book is full of witch/pagan rituals even though Jackie doesn't belief in it. Even though she had a bad experience when going to the Russian Orthodox Church, she is not ready yet to believe in the magical things.

At school she is been looked upon about what happened when she was young. She is a super empath and can read people, but not everybody is happy with it. Trouble comes in the form of her friend Trish,

Oh wow, this book was amazing. It is very unique I have never read anything like it. It is very creative and shows true friendship. Jackie lives with her Mom, and great grandmother who is from Russia.

She turned Goth and thus people in her town think she is a weirdo. Although her friends who are also Goth think it's great not to be normal. She is not your normal high school girl.

Her friend Jason,Zeta and Trish all hangout together when they can however their lives change for the better and worse.

Im horribly late posting a review but thank you so much to the author for sending me a copy.
This book has everything-from suspense, betrayal and all things mystical.

Imagine what it’s like to simply use touch and have visions-being overtaken by emotions that aren’t yours? Our main character has been raised in a very religious family and is petrified to admit to what she can do. Would this be looked at as un-holy? Would her church and friends turn on her? She has always kept this secret locked a

Reading about Jackie living in denial of her supernatural gifts annoyed me to the core. I was tempted to discontinue reading hower since I'm not the type who simply stop in the middle, I persevere. My perseverance awarded me with vicarious journey of Jackie slowly accepting to be what she's born to be.

After reading this book, I learnt that one needs to accept the way s/he is in order to live the best life in ways only that particular person is capable of.

I like how the story is written in multip

Have you ever wondered what it's like to a devout religious member suddenly aware you are psychic - in the middle of a church service?

Welcome to the world of Jackie Turov...

In order to hide her psychic abilities, Jackie lies about what happened that day in church and continues to denounce her abilities. In order to get people to leave her alone, Jackie turns goth and standoffish, making her unapproachable. When things take an evil turn, her past is suddenly revealed, and her lies are no longer a

At first, I enjoyed this book. It was great with how she could feel other people’s emotions. The storyline was great with the friendships and everything but I loss interest really quick. I started enjoying it again at about chapter 45 but then it was over. I’m not a fan of DNF’ing books so I finished the book but it was grueling. This one just did not catch my interest as much as I wanted it to.

Possessed is a YA novel. It starts out well, but part way through it gets a bit uncomfortable for me. It is a good story for the most part. Characters are well developed, storyline flows well. But it is a bit too realistic in the demons and possession aspect for me.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. All opinions are my own.

Based on a paranormal world. You get to dive into the character of Jackie and her relationship with her family, school mates, and of course with the name possessed you can guess the religious aspect. The characters we're well developed. Although I'm not big on reading to much into religion it didn't bother. ...more
