One of the wonderful things I enjoy about short story books is that I read genres that are not in my usual reading list. This collection has a very wide range of romance genres from paranormal to sweet to steam! Each story starts with a brief summary and a rating as to the heat level. Majority of the stories are mild. Each story ends with a little something about the author and contact information for most that will allow the reader to see what else the author may have available.

With such a wide

From the history of Fiesta San Antonio to stories about the dresses worn by the Duchesses to artists participating in the many booths to the bakers making the amazing pastries sold, this book covers them all. Cleverly, the book rates each story just like Hot Sauce: mild, medium and hot. They are true to the definition with those rated mild being sweet innocent stories and the hot being steamy sexual stories. Each story shows you a different aspect of Fiesta San Antonio so that the event comes ...more

Excellent mix of stories: historical, contemporary, paranormal, and some with just a touch of magic. Heat levels from mild to spicy. The authors and their characters are a delightfully diverse mixture, with mature couples, LGBTQ+, best friend's *older* sister, and a variety of racial and ethnic backgrounds. The colors and excitement of Fiesta and the beauty of San Antonio shine through all the stories. I'm sure everyone will have their own particular favorites, but my five-star picks were Maida ...more

Love Fiesta Style is a good read. I have visited San Antonio and enjoyed the city and its many attractions. However, after reading this book, I desire to go back during Fiesta. Reading the history of Fiesta, at the beginning of the book helped spark the desire. There is quite a bit of "desire" from beginning to end of Love Fiesta Style. The stories are short and engaging. It is quite the enjoyable read.

I give this five stars because I loved Jolene's, and Storm's stories. Jolene's was a wonderfully adorable read and Storm's was an edgy romance that I really liked.

The rest of these stories weren't bad, though there were a few that I found hard to read because of certain imagery choices that you'll find if you read this collection.

A collection of 17 short stories, all set in the milieu of San Antonio's April festival, Fiesta. As with all anthologies, some stories are weaker than others, but they do give sense of the breadth of the activities in Fiesta and the diversity of San Antonio's population.
