Legacy Warrior #1-4

Legacy Warrior: Complete Series

Rate this book
Their parents were the ones to seal the portal that separates our world from the realm of the Fae. The goddess has a new job for this generation of legacy descendants… but first, she has a few tasks for them.

The Legacy Warrior books are an mpreg shifter series that follows the adult adventures of the children born in the The Blood Legacy Chronicles. Their journey begins in book one where the first couple wake after mating to find themselves being drafted by the goddess Artio to help her uncover an ancient artifact. Over the course of the series, the main couples, or legacy warriors, are given a series of four tasks that will enable them to do the job that the goddess has longed planned for their futures. A beguiling mix of fun, fantasy, friendship and family—this series will take your breath away.

This bundle contains all four books from this best-selling series. Five brand-new epilogues have been included to show you what happened after the fighting ended and the real adventure of living happily ever after began. Note: this series is the fourth spinoff in the world that began with The Northern Lodge Pack also from this same author.

Included:
Prize — Alpha jaguar Connor is one of a set of powerful, psychic triplets. He has always known that his friend Oni, a feisty omega lion shifter, is destined to be his mate. From their sexy first time to being tasked with a mission from Artio, this pair is off on a wild adventure across the globe… while Connor tries not to incur the wrath of his diminutive, omega father-in-law, Jun.

Tear — Jon, one of the all-powerful triplets, is a wild-child who’s just waiting for the day that his predestined mate catches his scent. Jude, a laid-back coyote shifter, is thrilled to be with Jon. He’s not quite as happy about his pregnant mate having to fight an unknown evil while they handle the goddess’ second task.

Heart — Sammy, although one of the triplets, constantly second-guesses himself. The only thing he doesn’t doubt is that the loud, life of the party, alpha leopard Kyle is meant to be his mate. While on their honeymoon, they rescue a pair of cheetah cubs—shifter children stuck in fur form. They have to deal with their task for the goddess, take care of the cubs and figure out where they came from—all while Sammy is pregnant himself.

Soul— Toby is a large alpha bear who’s been cursed with clumsiness. While his family and friends all lovingly tease him, his fated mate and best friend staunchly defends him. Aaron, a vegan wolf shifter, is one of the few members of the pack with no psychic gifts… or is he? Toby and Aaron have a hefty task in front of them as they race to complete the final task and defy the ancient being trying to stop them at every turn, while also dealing with a surprise pregnancy.

These books are all intended for 18+ readers only. They contain adults adulting in naughty, knotty ways and enough potty mouth language to make a sailor blush. Keep an eye out for a broken boner, fun-loving gargoyles, a powerful goddess and her playful Fae lover, and more than a few beloved character appearances from the previous series. This bundle contains the complete series plus bonus epilogues for over 100,000 words of fun.

Note: This is the fourth series set in the same universe. Each series can be read on its own, but if you want to read the world in its entirety, the suggested series reading order is: The Northern Lodge Pack, The Northern Pines Den, The Blood Legacy Chronicles, and finally, Legacy Warrior.

I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!

I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.

As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.

I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! So I’m glad because I finally learnt how the portal between Fae and Human realms are opened. 😁 I’m definitely going back and forth with this series because I listened “Choose Your Fate” series before this one. 😅 And I believe although they are set in the same universe and are best read in order, I had no problem following the storyline of this series. 😌

I’m not going to write a separate review for each book in the series because they are quite similar. The gist is that 4 couples in the same pack (three of them are triplets) are on a quest by Goddess Artio to hunt for artifacts that would help them conquer an another malicious, vicious goddess who meant harm to the shifters. And my, what fun quests they are.

This bundle is zero-angst and lots of fluff so it’s perfect for people who are looking for angst-free, feel-good listens. All couples are friends-to-lovers and their relationships start when they realize they are fated mates. And boy, are they fertile! 😂 So many pregnancies and little ones so this is definitely going to sate your Mpreg fantasies. 😉 I loved their adventures and quests because they are fun and we learnt a lot of myths about ancient civilization. And as always, evil was conquered in the end so hurrayyy for that. 😁👏 I have listened countless John Solo books at this point and I have thought I knew everything about the guy but he really surprised and impressed me. His gargoyle voice in this bundle was so cool! 😍 Overall, you cant beat the bang for the buck for this bundle. A complete series in one neat bundle and over 13 hours of John Solo’s fabulous narration, I think you will be satisfied. 😌

Susi Hawke’s Legacy Warrior Bundle is the complete four volume series bundled into one audiobook. With over thirteen hours of drama, laughs, and plenty of lovin’, the Legacy Warrior audiobook is a whole lot of fun!

Narrated by John Solo it’s clear how much he enjoys performing these stories. He has created a unique and expressive voice for each of the many, many characters and infuses so much emotion into his performance. Mr. Solo is incredibly versatile and always brings just the right tone, no matter which genre he’s narrating. He’s the perfect choice for this series.

Though this is a continuation of the adventures of the characters from Blood Legacy Chronicles, I haven’t read them. I had absolutely no trouble following along and enjoying the stories of these characters. I have, however, read the Northern Pines Den and Choose Your Fate series, and I enjoyed the familiar characters who pop in and out. Now I’ve got no excuse but to add the Blood Legacy stories to my to-be-read list.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection. Each book in this collection is reviewed separately.

Prize - think this was a great start to the series. I loved the connection between Connor and Oni and I loved how scary Jun is, it’s hilarious that a alpha Jaguar shifter is frightened of a omega red panda shifter but I suppose it makes sense considering he used to be a d*m. Even though Connor couldn’t say that he knew that Oni was his fated mate but it was really obvious that he had feelings for Oni and no one would ever be good enough for him according to Jun. He accepts Connor as Oni’s mate but it didn’t help that they left as soon as they scented each other and had a honeymoon in Greece and didn’t contact their parents so Jun and Tau found out that Oni and Connor are fated mates and that Oni’s pregnant from Kent and Clark since Kent saw it in a dream and he thought that Jun and Tau knew so he offered congratulations, they all weren’t very happy that they hadn’t heard it directly from their sons. I loved that this generation have their own quests given to them by Easton the Seelie Prince as per Goddess Artio’s instructions like their parents did. I’m looking forward to reading the next book to see where their quests leads them next since.

Tear - I really enjoyed this book and it was pretty funny as well. Jon and Jude were perfect together and I thought it was cool that Jude had liked his best friend for years but he had no idea that they were fated mates but was really hopeful that they would be considering how most of the other kids are fated together. I like that the clues they’re given aren’t easily solved and they all have to work together to find out what artefact they’re looking for and then help collecting the artefact incase something sinister is at work to try and not let them keep it. I loved how when Jon and Jude went to Nevada to scope out different Native American Cave Dwellings to see if they could try and narrow it down to where the artefact is before the rest of the pack meets them in Nevada, there was a mixup with their hotel so they went across the road to the coffee shop and see a younger version of Jude’s alpha dad Cody, his name is Lucky and his work mate is a complete and utter b*tch and pushes him when he’s handing over a tray of coffee to a business man so the coffee spills over him, he demands a manager and Lucky gets fired but Jon and Jude follow him to talk to him as they feel like he’s the reason that they were in the coffee shop. Lucky scents that they’re shifters as well so he stops and Jon and Jude explain to him who they are and that they think that he’s a relationship to Jude’s alpha dad Cody so now he has a family and a pack as he’s a halfling and grew up in the human foster system. I think Toby is so precious and feel bad for him how they all hassle him, it’s in good fun though but he can’t help it that he’s so accident prone. I’m looking forward to reading Sam and Kyle’s story and what’s next for their quest.

Heart - I really enjoyed this book. I loved the connection between Sam and Kyle and even though Kyle didn’t know that they were fated mates like Sam did he’d still liked him for years which is pretty sweet. It was heartbreaking how Kyle had a vision of two little cheetah cubs being hidden and told to stay put by their parents and then running away from them as they were being chased by hunters and then subsequently were k*lled in cold blood. I’m extremely glad that Sam and Kyle found the wee cubs Zane and Zander, they’re 4 year old twins. They offered them a safe place and a home after losing their parents. It was so cute how much the little terrors made in their house since they weren’t ready to change back so were getting into everything and climbing up the walls, well trying too anyway. It was absolutely hilarious how Kyle put the cubs in collars and on leashes so they could carefully walk to their granddads house since the boys were a wee bit cheeky last time and one of them ran away so the pack spent over 3 hours in the rain looking for him so Kyle didn’t want to take the chance and told Sam in order to get them into their collars he put a wee bit of cat nip oil on the outside so at least they’d be interested in them. They were such wee cuties both as cubs and as wee humans. I loved how Sam finally worked out why the cubs wouldn’t shift back after they were a bit apprehensive about getting too close to the new babies and he just knew then that it was because their mother told them not to shift back until it’s safe so Sam thought that since it’s usually your alpha parent that helps you shift as small children the cubs mustn’t feel like a real part of the family so then Kyle tells them to shift putting alpha mojo behind it and that they’re now their daddies and that the trips are their younger siblings. I’m looking forward to reading Toby and Aaron’s story as it’s going to make me smile as Toby is such a loveable, sweet, accident prone, giant marshmallow teddy bear and Aaron is so protective of Toby so I definitely think that it may end up being my favourite book in the series.

Soul - I loved the conclusion of this series. Awesome book. I loved the connection between Toby and Aaron. such a loveable, sweet, accident prone, giant marshmallow teddy bear and Aaron is so protective of Toby. The Pack always makes fun on when Toby falls over or breaks a chair and Aaron always sticks up for him. Their claiming night was hilarious but also sad as the others were laughing so hard when Toby told them what was happening but Toby was worried that he’d completely broken Aaron and that poor Aaron for being given him as a mate as he’d hurt him and you’d never knowingly hurt your fated mate but Toby must be feeling so much guilt because of it even if it was an accident. I loved how excited and blown away Toby was that him and Aaron are the final couple to get a quest from the Goddess Artio. It was so sad how upset Toby was getting when he was goofing around pretending to sword fight with the Goddess Eris and all his cousins’ were yelling at him to put the knife down as they were scared someone was going to get hurt, Toby stopped and went to put the knife back on the bench but tripped over one of the cubs toy car and the knife headed towards his shoe but the trips stopped it before it could cause any damage. Aaron is trying to make Toby feel better about the situation but Toby is frustrated so he kicks the air and ends up st*bbing himself in the leg and nearly ble*ds out and would’ve if Artio and Easton hadn’t given Aaron and the other Legacy families whose gifts have died out if they’re originally from a omega line and they only had alphas and vs versa generations ago were given these as gifts for everything that their parents and they’ve done in completing their quests given by Artio. Aaron was given a few extras so Aaron was able to heal Toby. I was happy that it was Toby that saved the day and that his clumsiness came in handy. I thought it was sweet what Artio gave him in return. I loved getting the extra epilogues to see how the pack is getting on since they stopped Eris in her tracks and completed their quests. Man, Enzo and Hugo’s son Raven in adorable in either form. I loved how supportive wee Gracie was at explaining and helping him complete his first shift from stone gargoyle to human. I’m looking forward to reading the next companion series and to learn more about the Fae.

I’d definitely recommend this collection, each book in the series and author to everyone.

Well, I thought I had kept up with this world pretty well, but apparently I missed one, The Blood Legacy Chronicles. It is the third series, but I digress. This series, Legacy Warrior Bundle, can absolutely be listened to as a standalone; probably more easily than the first two, if not three, IMO.

This is the story of the grandchildren of the characters I last knew from The Northern Pines Den, the first series to really introduce the Legacy shifters of this world. The bundle follows four fated mate pairings as they take on the tasks put before them by the goddess Artio. Each pairing is very fertile and the Omega partner is always pregnant during each quest.

Prize:
Connor is an alpha and one of the triplets who seem to hold the most psychic powers among the other Legacy shifters. Oni is lion shifter. Their task takes them to Connor's ancestors' lands, and through their powers, to Alexander the Great. There is a tale that goes along with the task, but basically, they have to find a golden apple. A waitress tries to deter them from looking into the story, but they pretty much just ignore her because of their duty. Oni goes into labor during the battle, and they have a one healthy newborn.

Tear:
This book is about Jon and Jude's quest. Jon is also one of the trips, and Jude is a twin. I love the dynamics of their relationship, but the task set before them seems almost impossible. They have to find the Apache Tear, which is basically a black pebble-like rock. It was created by a woman's tear as she watched the men in her tribe die. Of course, they have to come to the US for this quest, but the woman from the first quest is there as well. As the shifters talk more about her, they become suspicious of her motivation and who she is. With Jon being a triplet, and Jude a twin, it came as no surprise when twins were born to this lovely couple.

Heart:
Sam is the only Omega of the trips, but he is mated to Kyle, Jude's twin. They have determined that what they seek is a Ruby, possibly in the shape of a heart. In the past, the monks that guarded the Tree of Life would put pieces of ruby under their skin believing they would find the way to their hearts. Sammy has been the least confident of the trips, and it was good to see him gain some strength of his own. It has been Kyle's family's obligation to care for the Tree of Life, but his grandfather has been remiss in his duties. Kyle also learns his family has an until now unknown member who has not been treated right during his life. They find an inscribed disc, but unfortunately don't look too closely at the image depicted on the artifact. Along the way, Kyle sees that two cubs are going to become orphans, and so it goes. They bring the boys home with them, and after searching for other family members, decide to keep the kids as their own. Raising two boys on top of their own biological triplets can't be that much harder, can it?

Soul:
This one has to be my favorite. Toby is an Alpha bear shifter, with no balance whatsoever. He has been the butt of many teasing remarks throughout the bundle, but he takes it all in stride. Aaron has not been able to use his powers as he should until this book, but after the unexpected happens, they are both given true gifts. It is in this story we learn who the evil woman is, and what could have been a death sentence, turns into a bunch of disgruntled gods and goddesses bickering and then leaving as abruptly as they came. Back to the quest itself, they found the hilt of a sword, the Eye of Eris. They know it is at the bottom of the ocean, so the trips believe they can just use their powers to bring it up. However, when they are incapacitated, Toby is the one who brings the blade to the hilt, and the warrior's soul within the blade is reunited.

Once all four artifacts are found, we are brought to the "prequel," if you will, of the Choose Your Mate Series. It was interesting to see how that series started, as I had already begun it a while ago. The multiple epilogues at the end of the bundle were great because we got to see how everyone was doing in the aftermath of the quests, and all the new babies.

On a side note, although each story had it's moments, I laughed so hard, yet at the same time had severe sympathy pains for Aaron at the beginning of Soul. Poor Toby and his lack of balance and completely klutzy ways. I guess I should be saying poor Aaron, but you'll have to listen to find out the story. I didn't know that could even happen!

John Solo did a great job with the narration once again. The characters are well differentiated and the pace of the retelling is smooth. He really knows these characters and the world, and it shows in his performance.

Prize: book #1

I am glad that we have not left this world and it’s continuing with the child. They have their own quests and mates to be determined within their group. The alphas know who their mates are long before the omegas do. We have the same mix of sweetness and sexiness that we’ve seen in the original series. It’s funny that we now have the first great grandchild born & the great-grandfathers are still so young. So Conner is the first of the triplets to mate and his omega a Oni. Their first quest is to find Alexander the greats golden Apple that was stolen from him by a ancestor of Conner’s father, who were horrible people. On the way to recover it, they come across a pretty nasty woman that kind of sets off the bells. And while they are battling some baddies, of course Oni goes into labor. They have a single birth.

Tear: book #2

This one is about Jon, one of the two omegas of the triplets finally getting his mate Jude. I loved these two. I also love switches! They are tasked on finding the Apache Tear, and it’s like finding a needle in a haystack. They have to come to the states for this one and they find a long lost relative, which was awesome. The wretched woman from the previous book shows up again. I’m thinking she’s a bad fae like they had in their parents books. They have twins.

Heart: book #3

Here we have Sam the youngest omega of the triplet getting his mate, in Kyle who is a fun loving alpha and is Jude’s twin. They are on the hunt for the Ruby Heart. Unfortunately we see Kyles grandfather who has not been keeping up the tree of life and we find another unknown family member. I love that they still name their kids DC names. Oh and we have an addition to the family from an outside source. And I love seeing Sammy being more confident. They have biological triplets and adoptive twins.

Soul: book #4

In this one we have Toby the alpha who is cousin to the triplets, and Aaron who is River’s omega son. Toby is such a lovable klutz. He just wants to be normal, but he is a bear shifter and they have a tendency to bumble along. OMG Toby, you will never live this one down! I can’t tell you what he did, you will need to read it for yourself. They go off and find the Eye of Eris. I loved that Aaron has now come into his own powers and that Toby saves the day. This is the last book of this series and I am happy with how it ended. I loved how it transitioned right in the Choose your Fate series. They have a single birth.

John Solo did an amazing job narrating this series!

The Goddess has a quest for the next generation. How can you refuse?

I got this bundle for the new epilogues.
I ended up rereading the whole thing. I had forgotten how much I loved this world. All my old friends are here. They drew me back into their lives from the first pages. Having all the books in one place is fantastic; the story flows seamlessly from one book to the next.
The Goddess Artio has another four part quest that involves not only the trips & their friends finding their mates, but also them finding their destiny. There are fated mates, a vengeful, despicable Goddess, new powers, and the funniest mating scene ever. Oh, did I mention babies? Lots of babies. DC comics fans will love their creative names.
You don't need to read the previous books to enjoy this bundle. Susi provides a character list complete with powers and family relationships. But I do recommend reading the whole saga. It will be time well spent. You will love this book bundle!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Shifter romances

This series follows the next generation of the all male mixed shifters from the legacy chronicles. The kids of the current generation are a mix of female and male shifters with their own milder quests to complete for their goddess. I really liked the previous series better as this group seemed so immature. They were all supposed to be in their twenties but acted and spoke like they were in middle school with lots of sex thrown in. I almost didn't finish but finally skimmed through a lot of it. I did like most of the epilogues that helped to take the story forward. I like this author's work and have enjoyed several of her other series so I can readily recommend her as a good story teller.

A great collection

This was a great collection of stories that follow the Legacy Pack series, as it is about their children. It was a fun, exciting, hilarious series with quirky characters, and a bit of suspense to keep things interesting.
I would recommend this book, series, and great author. I highly suggest that you read the previous series first.

Excellent!

As with the first set of books in this series, there are a lot of characters to keep up with. But the quest is fun and the characters all work well together. Do read all the epilogues.

Fated mates, fun, steam, and adventure! Great bundle!!

I must say I’m thankful for Susi “whos who” at the beginning of each book if this bundle because I still get confused with all the different interconnecting families. I feel like I need a visual family tree to know who comes from who and who’s related to who, there’s just so many of them!

This whole series (and all its counterparts) are great no angst, fated mates, mpreg stories, with heat, fun, and humor. They are all great short reads and/or listens!

~~~~
Prize — Connor (Alpha Jaguar) & Oni (Omega Lion)
I loved Connor and Oni! It took a little while for me to immerse myself in this world again and get everyone’s names straight but I loved Connor’s strength, care and love for Oni and once I was drawn in I was hooked!
Connor and Oni’s take is adventurous and funny and I loved the opening stage of the Goddess quest. I also loved Oni’s somewhat scary omega father Jun and his fierceness and teasing he loves to dish out to Connor.
A great start to the Legacy Series
~~~~
Tear — Jude (Alpha Leopard) & Jon (Omega Jaguar)

I love laid-back Jude and found his and Jon’s mating so much fun! I loved that all the fated couples seem to have a past that only includes each other and they’re coming together(s), have all been unique and special. I loved that Jon stands up for himself and has some extra strength (and domination) in him even while pregnant! Another great adventure from the Goddess, even though it might be a little more danger than Jude likes.

~~~~
Heart — Kyle (Alpha Coyote) & Sammy (Omega Jaguar)
Aww, sweet Sammy and Kyle are just wonderful together. I love Kyle’s lack of filter and how he gives Sammy the confidence he needs to stop second-guessing himself. I loved that their family grows even before they have their triples and love the care, kindness and heart these two show, each other, two orphaned Cheetahs and their whole pack and family. A heartwarming addition!!
~~~~
Soul— Toby (Alpha Bear) & Aaron (Omega Wolf)

OMG! Save the best and funniest for last! I loved poor clumsy Toby from the star and for him to find his mate in Aaron, aww such a perfect, loving match!

I’m so glad the Goddess included these two in the quest and Toby and Aaron’s mating would be uniquely theirs without some of Toby’s unfortunately timed clumsiness, that results in some totally cringeworthy hilarity at Aaron’s manhoods expense. I felt for both Aaron and Toby during their mating but couldn’t help but laugh at it all.

I loved Toby and Aaron, their adventure and bond was the perfect conclusion for this group of friends! And I especially loved that Toby’s clumsiness saves the day!!

~~~~
The specially added epilogues were an awesome bonus at the end of this and give you another little taste of each couple and their families! A great ending treasure!!!
Really great narration by John Solo on this great collection! I really enjoyed the whole series and need to go back (and forward) for more of these guys, their families, and their futures!!
4.5 Stars!
While you don't need to read the previous series to follow this one, I've really enjoyed the previous books I've had the chance to listen to, so if possible read or listen to those, too.
This series was so much fun! All the couples were very likable and it was nice catching up with some familiar characters. I loved that the couples all already knew and were drawn to each other before the fated mates' part came into play and that that was a theme with all of them.
John Solo did a fantastic job with all the different voices (and there were a lot of them) and gave Susi's already great storyline that extra-something that made it even better.
Overall, I loved this series. It was fun, hot, engaging and I really liked all the quests and how it all played out. Very recommendable!
Great audio edition to a amazing series. If you love this Universe John Solo's narration bring it to life in the best way. With this you get each book flowing into the other with personality and characters popping out. Rather the scene is action packed or subtle each stand out making me love this more then I did when I read it. Yes you can enjoy this on it's own but if you're like me you want to know all the others that came before so check out those too. 4-books together with perfect narration and amazing stories is a must! Can't wait for the next.
