I'm not a warrior. I'm not as fast or as strong as the other males. No matter how hard I've tried, that's just not me. However, it's my memory of my mother that will allow the others to create the cho-co-lat for their mates.

This story is great, it tells of Samil overcoming his thinking because he's smaller he's less of a male and Inga is letting the past keeping her afraid of a male and how they overcome their fears. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

Such dissapointment.
The story has such potential, but it just ended being so cheap. No real love between them, no real feelings, and wtf: their friends were kidnapped and they make out? For real? That wasn't the right time for that move, or laughing and making fun, just wtf, Inga felt so shallow. I could understand Samil and his feelings, but Inga...

Inga jumped as Padraig snapped at her to hurry up as they gathered the meteorite glass. He was always so angry, but his mate could calm him back down. Samil watched her and longed to be worthy to have such a mate. But he was not a warrior, he is not as strong or fast as the other Zmaj and he doesn’t hunt as well as they do. At the end of the day, they are preparing to carry their bundles to the transport when Samil sees the sand shift at Inga’s feet. Padraig tells her to run, but she freezes and he and Samil try to get to her before the sand creature does. Padraig throws her over his shoulder and leaps away. Samil is furious that the creature threatened her and he attacked it with his blade, killing it – and surprising the other males!
Having been attacked on the ship before they ended up on Tajss, Inga relives her horror and helplessness at being attacked. Calista and Jolie saved her, but the memory of being helpless and at the creature’s mercy plays over and over in her head. She has nightmares, and she fears the males here, even though they have been kind and would never hurt her. She would like to find a mate, and she is attracted to the large Zmaj, but as soon as they get close, her fear is triggered and overrides all her desire.
Jolie was telling them all about a holiday where her father would give her mother flowers and sweets, chocolate, to celebrate their love. It sounded like what Samil’s mother had made for him when he was a hatchling. Maybe he could make it for Inga? The other men wanted to surprise their mates with chocolate, but had no idea how to make it. They tossed around ideas and finally Samil pushed past his fear of inserting his opinion among the hunters and said he had an idea. The other males are excited at his offer and want to help him to make this confection.
They all head out for a 4-day journey to an oasis. The trip is considered safe for the women and children to come too. Even some of the Tribe joins them. When the others go out to hunt, they ask Samil to stay with the females. One of the hatchlings wants to play, acting out an arena fight. They have a wonderful time and Samil lets the boy win and cheers for him. Inga hesitantly walks over and, when Samil makes her laugh, they talk a little. Again, he imagines her being his and the family they will have. He is determined to make himself a worthy male for her. When the hunters return and they the mates kiss, Inga wants that for herself. She wants to overcome her fear and wanders off a bit to look at the stars and think. Samil remembers Padraig saying a Zmaj takes what he wants – could he have Inga? Or should he stop trying to be like the others and be himself, knowing he would protect her with his life – and letting her see that in him?
This series is so good! The author paints a vivid picture of the planet and environment so it comes alive for the reader! The dragons are also very real by now, kind and loving, yet fully competent protective males. I love the stories as they focus on another couple and move the overall saga forward. This is Inga and Samil’s story, both of whom have their own weaknesses to overcome before they can find happiness. Grab your copy and experience the emotional journey these two will take you on. It’s worth the trip!

Valentine treats and a slice of life on Tajss
Love the Zmaj! Those big alpha-male dragon-men who save and love the human space ship crash survivors are rebounding from certain extinction and creating a new world of Zmaj-human hybrids - all except Samil. A mere hatchling when the Destruction doomed the Zmaj, he's too little, too weak, too untrained, too inexperienced - in short, he's the runt and gets no respect. He's Zmaj-Lite, Padraig's favorite punching bag, and everybody's errand boy. He's also convinced that Inga - PTSD rape survivor of the Zzlo slavers, and scared to death of every dragon-man - is his mate, his treasure. Samil and Inga’s story
Even though Zmaj might be somewhat smaller that the usual warriors he is by no means lacking in any of his other attributes and is always more than ready to do what ever is needed to prove to the woman he has in his heart.
Inga is aware of Samil unfortunately however she has continued hold the fear close to her heart, the attack has left her severely damaged and no matter how much she tries she is unable to release the fear she feels.
However, there is one small light on the horizon and that is in the form of Samil, unlike the other warriors that are extremely large and, in her eyes, threatening, she cannot bear to have them around her she is so timid that she cannot form a connection with any of these males.
Zmaj is delighted to discover that she has feelings for him, she is comfortable around him and although it will be a slow process if he can finally gain the heart of the woman, she begun to drop her walls and he could not be happier.
He wants to win her heart, mind body and soul.

Zmaj Samil is not a warrior as he is not fast nor strong as the other males, but it is a memory from his mother that will help the other to create something similar to cho-co-lat for their mates. Human Inga is broken and has been ever since they were shipwrecked on Tajss. She is unable to let anyone close to her and especially anyone male. She has just too much pain and too much fear to move past. But Samil is different as he is kind, sweet and gentle in ways that no other man is - the question is, can she let him love her?
This was a sweet Valentines novella that is a fairly easy read but will definitely make you smile. I was thrilled for both Samil and Inga that they were both able to sort out their priorities in life and find a way to be close to each other. A fun read that was easy to read and understand. Contains some sexual content.

Well, I love the series, read every book that comes out. I liked both main characters, how they worked out their own issues to be together but I don't agree at all with what the group did to them. Leaving them so he can build confidence, that is just wrong and it sits funny with me. That was reckless, what if something did happen, how can you trust them in the future, I wish Inga was pissed about it, her friends left her knowing about her past. They could have built his confidence by treating him right to his face, being positive, including him in things, being a mentor, not ditching them in the middle of no where... I'm not sure why this bothered me so much, I guess when something that I don't agree with happens at the end of the story that is what sticks with me the most. So it ruined their story, I'll continue reading others. Still gave it 4stars because clearly the issue is me not the story.

Samil is smaller than the other Zmaj (though still larger than humans) but he is sensitive because he is not a warrior and he must prove himself worthy in order to claim the lovely Inga. At least that is what he thinks.
Inga is lovely but timid due to the attack she suffered when they were taken. Although saved by her friends before it was too late, the feeling of helplessness hasn't left her. She had fought with everything she had and it still hadn't been enough. She is intimidated by the Zmaj with their larger than life presence. Only Samil is sweet and gentle and funny and works his way into her affections.
But when danger threatens away from the tribe, will Samil be able to save them?

Another great read in this series
This is part of a series and should be read in order but this will read as a short stand-alone HEA.
This is a well written short story just under 100 pages. If you have read other books by this author then you know simply to just download this and enjoy. If you have not read this author... where have you been? You need to read some of the books earlier in the series but be warned, once you do, you will be hooked!

You need to read the previous books in this series before reading this book.
I think this was my favorite out of the series. Although the story is on the shorter side, there is a good bit of emotion in this book. I adored Samil, he isn't like the other Zmaj being smaller than the others. He worries that he isn't enough to attempt to claim the woman he loves, he isn't a hunter and he doesn't contribute in the same way as the other males. Inga is still suffering from trauma from an attack previously and now finds herself suffering flashbacks when around the men. Inga and Samil are very sweet together, they are exactly what the other needs and it was nice to see them find not only love but a confidence in themselves.

fabulous series!
I loved this short little story about Inga and Samil. Just a hatchling at the time of the devastation that destroyed Zmaj civilization, Samil has always been described as smaller, and less than the other Zmaj, often overlooked and abused by the rest of his kind. But that never stops him from trying his best, helping where he can and looking up to the other males. He knows Inga is his treasure, but he feels so unworthy he keeps his distance. Inga, suffering from past traumas finds all of the Zmaj too dominating and intimidating, except Samil. To Inga, the very things that make Samil feel unworthy are the things about him that make her feel safe, she knows he is special and if she can see herself with anyone of the Zmaj, it’s him, only him. In this story they both have self doubt to overcome, which they do as they find healing and love, together.

Samil and Inga's story kept me turning pages a well written story, that held my interest throughout. The pages flowed smoothly one to the other. Inga can not let a male get close to her after what happened to her on the spaceship before they ended up on Tajss. Samil is smaller than the other males so he does not believe he is worthy. When the tribe goes out to go to the oasis they stop for the night, when Samil and Inga wake-up in the morning the others are gone where are they? Samil and Inga set out to try and rescue their friends in doing so Samil saves Inga from an animal attack and they finally admit how they feel for each other. When Samil realizes they have been following a false trail they decide to go back to the camp. What awaits them there? I would recommend this book.

Samil is my favorite Zmaj at this point!
I have been anticipating Samil's story for a long time. He is the smallest Zmaj and always seems to get picked on. He deserved an epic love story in my opinion. We get to see how caring and sensitive that Samil truly is.
Inga feels broken and is afraid whenever a male gets near her or sometimes even talks to her because of what happened to her on board the ship before the crash. Both Inga and Samil feel unworthy of being loved.
The males decide that Valentine's needed to be celebrated after the women mentioned it. Some of them went on a trip to an oasis. Due to circumstances, Samil and Inga are left alone in the desert.

Samil has his eye on Inga but because he is not as tall or strong as the other Tajss he feels that he is unworthy to have a mate especially someone as good as Inga. Inga has noticed Samil and tends to think she has nothing to offer. He isn;t as tall as the other warriors but she;s too timid and afraid. Her semi capture on their spaceship before it crashed was traumatic and she still hasn;t gotten over it. After talking with one of the other Tajss, Samil must make an inner journey to discover who he is. Inga must do similiar to get past her past and embrace the future.
Another fantastic story in the Tajss series.

Ahh Samil you melt my heart!
I think the author should shorten her stories from now on this story was awesome compared to the full length stories LoL I'm sorry but it's true I felt so bad for Samil when we first met him getting beat on always having to try and steal things to have anything it was really sad but he's come a long way since the tribe has mixed with the human women and I guess all those men finally getting laid probably helped ease some of the stress as well LoL! I was happy to see she finally wrote him a happy ending he deserves one just as much as the other men. I also liked how the guys tried to help him gain his confidence and his talk with Severre it was really sweet. So all in all I really enjoyed this short read I highly recommend it!

Novella length PNR - Highly recommend the Tajss Series!!!

My biggest disappointment with this story is the lost opportunity to expand the storyline and cover their individual struggles, doubts and / or fear that has naturally built up across the various books. This story had the potential to be one of the best in the series, so that is why I gave it 4 stars.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the story ... like going to meet old friends ... and I highly recommend the series. It just felt the H rubbed off on the author, so she didn’t fully respect him like the other males, so it was authored as quick and short as possible. This led to some stunted scenes and a couple of spots where the reader was left to interpret.

I loved this story about Samil and Inga. I have been waiting to read this story for a while now.
Samil doesn't believe that he is a true Tajss because he is not a hunter or smart. Inga is still recovering from her time on the ship and is scared around the males. The only one who doesn't scare her was Samil. They are with a group going to collect some things when they awake to everyone else gone. They must now go and save them. On their journey, they discover some things about themselves and their feelings for each other. Will they be able to find a way to stay together?

This book is so sweet. Inga and Samil are so cute and sweet. Inga believes that she was left broken by a traumatic event that happened before the ship crashed. She is afraid and startles easily around the dragons. She is unable to put the event behind her no matter how she tries. She has been watching Samil though. Samil does't feel that her deserves a mate because he is smaller that the others and is unable to help with much. Samil watches Inga though and he and his dragon want her. He is trying to figure out a way to get close to her. A great love story of overcoming trauma and low self esteem.

Let Me Love You: A SciFi Alien Romance (Red Planet Dragons of Tajss) by Miranda Martin is a Sci-fi, Paranormal, Action & Adventure Romance. Inga was attacked on the ship before they ended up on Tajss, She relives her almost rape every time a male cames close to her. Samil isn't a Zmaj warrior and isn't as strong or fast as the others, but he watches her and wants to be worthy to be her mate. Well-written, steamy, short read with an emotional story and lovable characters. This is Inga and Samil's story and should be read after Dragon's Wish (Red Planet Dragons of Tajss Book 13). Samil was slightly smaller in stature, funny, cute and it was heartbreaking that he really felt he had to measure up to the other Zmaj. Poor Inga had trauma to recover from and while she desperately wanted to, found herself intimidated by all the super large Zmaj. Samil, however, never inspired that fear in her. What follows is a tale of adventure, danger, heart and healing for a fab HEA. Good fun!

Short, but sweet addition to the series
This is a short novella, but it is a good addition to the series. I've been wanting Samil to get a story, and it is good. He is such a sweetheart, not as alpha as the other Zmaj, but that makes him perfect for Inga. With her fear of men -- because of what happened to her -- an alpha male would be all wrong for her. Together they find their self-confidence and strength.

OMG yes, yes, yes Even though this story is about Inga and Samil we actually get to see a few of the people from the other planet that Rosalind and Visidion were on. I really hope that the Gladiators get their own story soon. I loved how Samil doubted his self worth because he felt he was not male enough, like the others in the tribe, but Inga does not need or want one of those males she wants Samil.

AMAZING! I so hoped that Samil and Inga would get a HEA! They are perfect for each other,made the other whole! This story will not make a lot of sense if you haven't read any of the others,but if you have then you will know that even being short it still packs a heck of a lot adventure and emotion! Start the series, you won't be disappointed!

A cute and heartwarming story, I loved the way the characters grew in this book. Samil and Inga have issues to work through and it's keeping them from moving forward with the emotions they are both feeling. The Tribe helps them to see themselves for who they really are, and the journey they have to take is exciting, dangerous and enlightening. It's a great addition to the series, fun to read and easy to follow.

I am so glad Samil got his mate!! The story is so well done! Daniel and Inga both have inner fears that they need to conquer. This is a cute Valentine story with a charm to ig. Samil is funny and has fallen for Inga. Inga has never gotten over that terrible incident that happened when the aliens took over the ship and caused the humans to land on Tajiss. There is a steamy sex scene and a HEA. Quick but totally enjoyable read!!

This is Inga and Samil's story. You will love readung this book. Inga has to help over come what happened from book 1. Unga thins that she is broken and lets is keep her from most men cause of fear except one that is kinder and sweeter. Email thunks he is not worthy because of his difference compared to the others, smaller not as strong.

A fast story of learning to love and to let someone love you. It also is about believing in yourself and that who you are is perfect. Through the series we have watched several of the human women fall in love with the dragon males. But one male knows who is mate is but can’t find it in himself to try. He sees himself as to small and not strong enough. But fate will prove him wrong. Let the romance begin.
