Gabe is the 11th book in the Reed Security series. It is suggested they are read in order.

“What’s all this?” Cap asked.
“You asked me to bring dishes.”
“No,” he said slowly. “I asked you to bring a dish.”
“Yeah, and when I asked what kind, you wouldn’t f*&king answer me. You just said enough for everyone. So, I dug through my cabinets and brought every f*&king dish I could find.”
I pointed to all the dishes scattered on the counter. Sinner was laughing at me and Cap was groaning. I just stood there staring at them.
“I don’t get what’s so f*&king funny.”
“A dish, a$$hole. You know, food?” Cap laughed.
“No, a dish is just that, a f*&king dish. If you wanted me to bring food, you should have f*&king asked.”
“I did!” Cap said loudly. “I said that everyone was being asked to bring a dish.”
“Since when does that equate to food? Food is food. A dish is something you put food in.”
“That’s what women call it,” Sinner laughed. “When you go to someone’s house and they ask you to bring a dish, they mean a dish of food.”
“Do I look like a woman to you? Do I look like the type of guy that would know what the f*&k ‘a dish’ is, besides the obvious?”
“Man, if you’re ever gonna get a woman to settle down with, you’re going to have to learn their lingo,” Sinner laughed. “A dish means food, unless it means a dish.”
“Thank you for that, a$$hole. Now it all makes sense.”
He squeezed my shoulder. “No problem. You’ll get the hang of it. It’s really not too hard once you have a few hundred fights.”
“Or you could do what I do and just keep a f*&king list on the fridge,” Cap said.
“Yeah? How many lists are you up to now?” I questioned. “How do you even keep track of what list is for what?”
“It’s pretty simple. I have a list for things I’m supposed to say in certain situations. I have a list of things never to say. I have a list of chores that she expects me to do right away. I have a list of things I can put off without pissing her off too much. And last but not least, I have a list of different looks and phrases, and their meanings.”
“Now that sounds like it would be helpful. Isn’t there some kind of book that women write to let us dumb f*&ks know what the hell they’re thinking?”
Sinner shook his head. “Unfortunately, no. They think we should just ‘know’ this stuff or ‘figure it out’ on our own. Like I have time to sit there and decipher every look and tone in her voice,” he scoffed.

I'm a stay at home mom with a love for romance novels. There's nothing better than reading about a hot, alpha male that makes my heart swoon. I spend most days hanging out with my kids or writing about my next book boyfriend. I love crocheting, sewing, reading, and being outdoors, but in the end, there is nothing better than getting lost in a good book!

Gabe and Isa!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💋💋💋💋💋
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📙📕📗📘
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: 👨🏻👱🏻‍♀‍🧔🏻👩🏻

The heroine: Isabella - little sister to Cazzo (Sam). Isa just left her husband and moved into a house closer to her brother Sam. Sam takes her two children for the night so she can unpack. After having a glass of wine, Isa decides to go out and pick up a man instead of unpacking.

The Hero(es): Gabe - in the past his co-workers have thought he might be into men, because he walked in on Hunter and Lucy in the act and just kept watching. So what? He likes to watch, he really wasn’t just staring at Hunter like they guys told Hunter.

The Story: Gabe picks up Isa at the local bar and finds out in the morning that she has two young children and is in the process of getting divorced. After spending some time with all three of them he decides that having a family doesn’t sound as bad as he originally thought.

This series gets more funny with each book you read. The guys think their women are complicated beyond belief and have all sorts of opinions on how to handle different situations, especially when you are just falling in love. The women think the men are out of their depth and need direction.

“Because men are ridiculous. See, they can’t actually think on their own. Their brains are so simple that they don’t know how to do something that’s outside their comfort zone. Give them an engine to fix and they’ll tear that thing apart and put it back together so fast your head will spin. But hand him a ring and suddenly he doesn’t know what to do.”

Gabe is a great guy all around, but he definitely has never dated a woman with kids before, actually he can’t remember the last time he actually went on a date. He is more at home with how he met Isa and is usually a one and done kind of guy.

The book is both super steamy and utterly hilarious and the more I read of this series, the more I want. I can’t wait for the next book!

4.5 Star

The story has laughs, pain, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Sinner (A Reed Security, #1)
Cap (A Reed Security, #2)
Cazzo (Reed Security, #3)
Knight (Reed Security, #4)
Irish (Reed Security, #5)
Hunter (Reed Security #6)
Whiskey (Reed Security, #7)
Lola (Reed Security, #8)
Ice (Reed Security #9)
Burg: A Reed Security Romance (Reed Security #10)

This is Gabe and Isabella's story. He is a fierce protector with a few quirks. She’s a single mother of two involved in a divorce. He might want more then one night and she is sure she only wants one night. As her gets more and more involved in her life someone is not happy about that involvement. Can he keep her safe from danger and also get her to fall for him? He knows he is desperate when he starts taking advise from his friends. Lots of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge off your seat.

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

It was a real struggle to finish this book. The premise was good but I found it unrealistic.

First off, the guys talk like they belong in a frat house. I don't know any guy who gives advice down to what underwear to use for a date and then even tells him how to deal with smell issues down below on himself. I'm sorry, you're how old and obviously not a virgin but have no idea how to deal with hygiene issues? This wasn't the only instance that left me feeling this way, through the entire book the immature was rampant.

Can we just talk about the lack of safe sex in this book? Birth control is never discussed (including the use of condoms), despite the couple sleeping together hours after meeting. Despite the fact that the female character already has two children so we know she's not infertile. Safety is never discussed in terms of making sure each other is clean.

The "someone wants her out of the picture" was exaggerated in the blurb and seemed like just a way to add some drama to the book.

Gabe meets a woman at the bar that he is more than happy to help satisfy her. The next morning doesn’t go as planned, he has to answer the door and finds Cazzo there with kids, then finds out that he slept with Cazzo sister. Gabe knows he would have wanted to see Isa again, but Cazzo made it very clear she was off limits and she had kids which he had no idea what to do with.
Isa can’t help thinking about Gabe, but she needed Matteo to sign the divorce papers. At a company party everything is going well, Isa can’t stop starring at Gabe holding Enzo, until her brother lets her know her husband is in town and she should make an effort.
When Gabe shows at her door Isa can’t fight it she wants him and they both know it, after Gabe asks if he should be worried, he doesn’t want to be the guy while she figures out what she wants, he wants to see what could happen between them. Being honest Isa lets him know she doesn’t know if she’s ready to move on after the marriage she just came out of and she need Matteo to sign the divorce papers not try to get her back.
Every time Gabe sees that he wants what he can with Isa and sees a future with her she takes two steps back and he wonders if they can ever move forward. As always, the boys try to help Gabe realise what he’s done wrong and he’s feeling only confused more, but he knows what he wants and just needs Isa to catch up with her feelings. She will eventually the Reed Security men know what they want and are determined to get it.

Fun, sexy mexy, plenty of action and yes at times tears.

This is by far the best series and the offspring series I have read this year.

The complex threads that Giulia weaves her stories, and her characters keeps you coming back for more. You will be riveted to the pages and find that hours have passed by the time you manage to pull yourself away.

You will laugh your arse off when you are not sweating through the action.

Gabe Moore is a man that loves everything about a woman. He has quite the “salty” language and makes no excuses for it. He also has a great sense of humor. It gave me a chuckle a time or two. Isabella “Isa” knows how to put her brother in his place. His story is book two in the series – if you need to catch up. She’s just come out of a bad relationship but you can tell that she still knows how to flirt.

Our author seems to be on a roll. All of a sudden, each story seems better than the last. No two books seem the same, which is good for us. Each story takes us on a different adventure. Seeing the heat between our main characters builds as the story progresses. Ms. Lagomarsino also takes the time to create two cuties. You have to pull out the sympathy card for Isa who has a lot on her plate but you can feel the love she has for them – plus they’re part of the reason that you’ll get a laugh at Gabe’s expense. In creating the interactions between Gabe and Isa, they seem so natural and believable. She also had me curious as to whether men actually do what the group did for Gabe.

This is another of our author’s books that I just couldn’t seem to put down. I didn’t want it to end – especially when there’s some suspense going on. Though I know it has to because how else will I get to the next book in the series – yes, the author’s not done yet. It does make it hard to go back and read what I’ve missed because I keep wanting to move forward. But since I don’t really feel that I’ve missed anything so far, I know that at some point I will get caught up – just not right now.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

This author has me hook, line and sinker. I have been waiting for this book and when it came available I squealed! I love Gabe and his roles in the previous books but for him to get his own story and meet his own woman, yes please! This was a great read which if you have read Giulia's books you will know that you have no idea what you are in for and how fast the fork in the road can change the whole story. It is absolutely awesome. This Reed Security book is no different. It is hilariously funny, hot & steamy and just amazing the story that Gabe and Isabella take us readers through. I highly recommend the series if you have not read it, this can be read on its own but to truly enjoy the secondary characters and their comments, the whole series is a must. You will not be disappointed but beware, you may fall into the Reed Security world and not tumble out until you have read each book, yes, they are that good. :)

I received this ARC and am voluntarily giving my honest review. In a long line of Reed Security to fall, Giulia Lagomarsino now gives us Gabe and Isabella's story. Have you been following the series? If so, you get all the warm fuzzies, chuckles and belly laughs from the characters bickering and banter, along with a plot that is woven through that will keep you enthralled. Like a success comic, this author has a unique ability to peg emotions, time a witty come back, and deliver them to the reader so they are welcomed and relatable. Congratulations on another great read.

A pleasant read

So I'm sure there will be spoilers at some point... I'm writing my review from KU so there's no way to hide the spoilers like on Goodreads directly.

Anyway, I'm still around 50/50 on liking these books. But this one was great (the last one not so much). So yeah, I will keep trudging along.

The missing cast of characters list boggles my mind too. Who here can keep all the double names straight?! Because I definitely cannot. Lol

And I thought Jackson was sniper but then I saw Jackson has his own book under his name and it turns out chance is sniper but then I thought he had a book under chance too, so I'm even more confused as I look at the other books. Anyway, maybe I'll read through Jackson and call it a day or two chase and call it a day. But I do miss the listing of people. I don't need the spouses necessarily or the kids, but man. The main guys would be helpfulf for sure. I went back to CAPs book and just read the cast and don't think I've ever seen half the nicknames. 🙄

And this book brought it up too... All of reed security has a nickname for people, but Gabe doesn't have one. And looking at the cast list now that I know more of them... Neither does Florrie. What's up with that?!

Ok, back to Gabe and Isa. Their story was cute and definitely and enjoyable read. Even got closure on the break-in at Lindsey's b&b and discovered she did keep it and still has it - since that wasn't clear in her own book. This series is more like a soap opera... Each book is incomplete and reveals more about EVERY character, not just the focal couple as the books go on. Sigh. On some levels, I like that because I feel vested in the secondary characters (they have saved some of the books from 1 star reviews after all lol) but on the other side, I don't want to have to read all the books necessarily to know more major about the characters. Anyway, I digress. Back to the book at hand.

The dream scene was very entertaining but also very clearly a dream when Jackson first walked in, let alone the team. Lol

Gabe falling for not only Isa, but the kids was heartwarming and very unexpected. Being that she was Sam/Cazzo's sister was entertaining as well. Cazzo didn't do well with that one lol.

The ex, Mateo, was surprising too. He finally got his head out of his arse and stepped up as a dad, much to Gabe's dismay lol. Gabe thought of Isa and the kids as his own and didn't want to share with bio-dad. So that was super sweet.

The kids were well written though and I felt age appropriate. Too often I see toddlers talking like adults in books, so I was pleasantly surprised when this toddler talked like a toddler. And the fact that the daughter was able to throw a ninja star and gets the bad guy was excellent given who she's growing up around. An age appropriate weapon. Who knew? Lol

Overall, a great read and entertaining with a fun little marriage of sorts at Hunter/Pappy & Lucy's wedding. While I didn't care for Hunter's book as a standalone, I did enjoy their wedding scene.

Well, the author has delivered another home run for her readers. Her stories can be anything from flat out hilarious to gut wrenching emotional & everything in between. Gabe is one of her lighter themed & funny romances & I enjoyed it immensely.
Gabe works for REED SECURITY, he is gorgeous, ripped, intense & lethal. He's excellent at his career being a field security agent & takes his work seriously & is a consummate professional.
But, ever since he stumbled on a fellow team member engaging in an exploit of a sexual nature Gabe finds he's ribbed with regularity by all his coworkers about his proclivities, preferences & tastes of the bedroom kind. And while Gabe shrugs off these jibes, he's sure in the knowledge he's only looking for fun, not a relationship.
But then he encounters Isa & their explosive one night stand whips him around 180 degrees. However, while the lethal & gorgeous Gabe finds himself needing & anxious to completely seal the deal with Isa & her 2 young children, Isa still in the process of finalizing her divorce is not at all sure she wants or even can enter into a permanent relationship so quickly.
But Gabe is intense & focused, & he's intensely focused on obtaining the 3 new people in his life he views as 'his new family' . . . . .
This one is full of cute interactions between a tough guy & 2 little kids, a hardheaded man & the woman he is determined to get, a hardheaded woman determined to apply the brakes to a hardheaded man, a mystery, suspense, danger, a soon to be ex that is really ticking Gabe off AND Isa's over the top brother, Cazzo, who is NOT happy Gabe is involved with his sister & has terrifying ways to display his displeasure. Add to that the oft times ridiculous & frightening romantic advice his fellow Reed Security team members offer him (especially Knight), Gabe's frequent romantic missteps & his awkward attempts to makeup
you have a light but fun & loving romance between 2 people stumbling their way to true love.
But outside forces darken the lover's lives bringing suspense & potentially fatal ramifications to those Gabe has come to adore & love.
And one thing you don't want to do is mess with a Reed Security man's woman.
I think the reader will find this story makes them smile, laugh, wince, feel for both Gabe & Isa, enjoy the firm bond of brotherhood & family the Reed Security men & their women have, cringe at the tense & dangerous events but most of all root for Gabe & Isa to have a HEA together.

Title: Gabe (Reed Security, #11)
Author: Giulia Lagomarsino
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Rating: 5/5

ARC received in return for an honest review.

Another one bites the dust, another Reed Security team member that is...

Giulia Lagomarsino is back with another instalment of her Reed Security series. This time it’s Gabe’s turn, you know how it goes man meets woman, ends up back at her place, they share one hot, sexy night of passion then he leaves in the morning doing the walk of shame, well things don’t quite go that way for Gabe, it’s all going great right up until he answers her door in the morning half naked coming face to face with one of his co-workers who just so happens to be Isa the woman in questions brother who’s bringing two young children home to their mum.

Isa’s been going through a bit of a tough time after the break-up of her marriage, and what was only supposed to be a one night stand soon becomes so much more. It doesn’t take long for Gabe to integrate himself into Isa and her kids lives seen as they’ve made their way under his skin and into his heart, there’s a good few bumps along the way which keep us fully engrossed and entertained in the book and as always there’s the men of Reed Security with their humour and witty banter we’ve all grown to love. One of the other things I loved about this book was how much I as a woman/mother could relate to the trials and tribulations of being a parent, Giulia was on point with her descriptive passages.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, these books just keep getting better and better, bring on the next one. I’ll just leave these with you.....

4 1/2 Stars!!

I like the way this author creates her characters. This book is a continuation of a series which seems to get better and better.
Gabe was pretty hilarious in his straightforward and kind of simple way that he thought and processed information. He spoke without really thinking and was pretty honest, which got him punched out by Sam. A lot.
That scene where he was tied to the chair and interrogated by Sam was priceless.
Isa was a tough talking, snarky heroine that kept this storyline colorful and real. Worn out and demoralized, but not beaten down, her toughness shines through as she tried her best to move on from her cheating ex and be the best mom possible to her two young children.
I loved when Sam finally realized what a jerk Matteo was, and the way he protected and stood up for his sister.
Well written, sexy, and sweet romance that pairs Gabe with Isa and her two kids. He doesn’t know what hits him as he finds himself deeply involved with his ready made family and is willing to risk everything for them.
Possible spoilers ahead:
Gabe did have a kink that Isa accepted, I have to admit her dream sequence freaked me out a bit and I thought “oh no!” I felt a bit better when I realized Gabe didn’t instigate that orgy and it was a dream, but I wished I could unread that part of the story. It kind of spoiled the perfect five Stars I was feeling for this book.
Other than that hiccup in the story, there was just enough drama, action, adventure, and steamy times to keep this truly entertaining from start to finish.

Gabe has never lived down a moment in time that he was caught up in, so he's kind of been the joke at Reed Security while also being a big question mark as well. If you want to know what I mean by that, you'll have to read the series for yourself. Unfortunately, his poor luck isn't over yet, see he picks up a woman at a bar, and the next morning, her kids come home, and it turns out that she's the sister of one of his teammates, and all hell breaks out. But it's not over yet, because he wants her, like really wants her, so a hilarious journey takes place between him & Isa, as he gets to know her & her tiny humans. They have so much chemistry, which is where I'll start, as they definitely light the sheets on fire during sexy times. And that's just a drop in the bucket. With the brilliant Giulia Lagomarsino, there can be emotional angst like no other, or hysterically funny interactions, and luckily, Gabe is of the hysterical laughing variety. Like OMG, I hardly stopped laughing at all. If it wasn't Gabe talking to Isa's tiny humans, it was him getting advice from his teammates on how to get her to listen to him. So obviously, the cast of secondaries tried everything in their power to steal the show. Finally, there were even a couple of twists to get my f-bombs dropping, luckily I didn't have to put any money in a jar for them! So yeah, another fantastic winner in this amazing series! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Hello! My name is Broken Record, and I am bookaholic!!! LOL But no seriously I always feel like a broken record after reading Guilia's books. There is apparently only so many ways to say "This book was awesome" and "Each book just gets better and better" and "I can't wait for the next one and the one after and after" and so on. Author I am not :) So thank you copy/paste that I don't have to keep figuring out what to say on each review site. Boooo to my thesaurus cause I already know all the ways to say awesome without being pretentious and snobby or sounding like some corny porn dialogue. An AWESOME book, that was a PERFECT read after the rollercoaster that was BURG and was JUST WHAT I NEEDED. On a less broken record note I was in a book funk at the beginning of 2019 after a crappy start to the New Year and a huge loss in my life while dealing with old "scars" from when I was a young reading Gabe brought me out of that funk for a few days, not enough for me to read much of anything new otherwise but enough that I enjoyed this and a few other newer books that I had pre-ordered in 2018 and had been worried that my funk would ruin them for me and re-read all of the old books in the "Love For a Good Women" and older "Reed Security" books to warm my heart and mind and keep me sane in a house full of kids the way only a good book does... so a HUGE THANK YOU GUILIA!! You seriously rock and saved this poor girl from a straight jacket.

A total hit! This was a great romance because it touched on SO much reality! A real showing of what moms go through and how much is on their shoulders every day. The humor brought by the men of Reed Security, as always, had me in stitches. I love how real Isa is and the issues she faced are so definitely something most (if not all) moms can relate to. Her struggle to keep sane and in control with 2 small kids while still trying to live a full life are so easily relatable. And the issues that stay-at-home moms face all the time really spoke to me. Gabe learning how to really integrate into their life was not only entertaining but sweet as well. As always, I really value that Giulia makes her characters so in tune with real life in such a way that the stories feel relatable to the reader, but still with aspects that remove you enough from reality to enjoy the read. A perfect balance. I also love that she writes her MC's as normal guys. Not super suave and rich. I like that these guys are working men, not some billionaire playboys. It's so easy to fall for these characters because they are one can identify with. It is refreshing to read characters that you can feel on the same level with and I definitely identified with Isa in this book. I recommend this book to everyone but especially moms!

I found GABE to be hilarious at times! I knew that Gabe’s story was going to be good, but wow I did not see the combination of Isa and him. And it is absolutely hilarious that Isa is Capo’s sister! And poor Gabe … when he has trouble trying to decide what to do and how to handle things, he turns to the men of Reed Security for advise. Bad idea, but an absolutely hilarious part of the book.

And poor Isa. Not only does she have to deal with Gabe, but also Capo. And he really fell down in the beginning of the book in my opinion, but he did eventually redeem himself in my eyes. But I really wanted to smack the crap out of him.

What I liked more than anything in this book … the heart wrenching drama was not there! Don't’ get me wrong, the last book was AMAZING, but I liked that this book had the drama toned down. That made me very happy with the story. And it also helped that there were some SCORCHING scene’s within its pages.

Overall, a very humorous and fun read. Again, the characters are awesome and the situations that they find themselves in and funny and at times sad. But what I really liked about GABE was how many times I smiled as I read. The storyline itself was great and the story went quickly. So, definitely a recommend in my book. Happy reading!

I have read every book in this series and it's companion series "For the Love of a Good Woman" and I have to say this one was distinctly different and thoroughly enjoyable. The others are usually very serious and stressfully suspenseful but this one is light, fun and sweet with a touch of mystery. Gabe knows practically from the moment he lays eyes on Isabella that she is his light, his future, his everything but Isabella has just left her husband, the divorce not even final. She is not looking for another relationship and Gabe's intensity from the get go keeps her on edge and fearful of what he wants. The ensuing tale of them finding how they work in each others world, especially Gabe's hysterical interactions with Isa's children, is laugh out loud, smile on your face well written fun. I loved this change of pace. Well done. I sucked this one down in less than 4 hours. I just could not stop reading it. I couldn't wait to read the next insane thing Gabe would say or do. The thong scene had my laughing so hard. I highly recommend this one and all of the rest of the books in this series and "For the Love of a Good Woman". Great reads. Well worth your precious reading time.

former special ops guy who work a security team together go more than a little above and beyond.

they have each others back, and watch out for each others families.

Gabe is a dedicated bchelor when he meets Issa at a local hot spot.

She says she is looking for a good time and thins he can do the job, and he accepts the challenge.

they all get a big surprise the next morning when her brother bangs on the door at the crack of dawn with her kids in tow - Gabe sees his teammate Cazzo there with the kids, and Cazzo carries a righteous anger with some light weapons.

Gabe might initially have been relieved that Issa is the sister to Cazzo, but Casso leaving him shoe-less and tied up in a warehouse in Pittsburgh not not leave him singing a happy tune.

Somehow, this crazy pair might be able to survive some dangerous situations, her crazy kids, his insane and socially awkward teammates, and her annoying, ungrateful ex - they might thrive if they give each other a chance to learn to trust and believe.

Fun and humorous - and currently a great KU read!

This series just keeps on getting better and better. When I initially read about Gabe in Hunter's story and then learnt more about him in Chris's story, I thought that maybe I would not like him and enjoy his character as much as the other male characters from previous Reed Security books. .But boy oh boy was I wrong. This story just fit so perfectly that I was really blown away. What I enjoyed most about the book was Gabe's interaction with Sam. I loved the way Gabe just picked at Sam to get some kind of reaction from him. The comedic timings in this book was on point as usual. It definitely had me crying at some points and it definitely had me on Team Gabe especially when it came to his interactions with Vittoria and Enzo. I was definitely intrigued to learn what Isa did to Sam in high school, and I hope Giulia gives us a hint of some kind in future books. .lol. .But I really loved this book, and I loved the way it stayed true to the series with a bit of action, a bit of tears, a whole barrel of laughs and definitely a whole lot of steamy love stories. This is definitely one of my favorites.

Another winner by Giulia Lagomarsino. Another well written pleasure fest that will have you captured and held spellbound through the entire story. A tiny twist and it can be quite comical when you think about it, but in this story, you have Gabe as the one who wants a serious relationship and marriage right away instead of the woman! Yea, that was really cool to read for a change, but since in this case the woman, Isa is going through a divorce when she meets Gabe...and she has two small children on top of it all. But as Gabe gets to know her and her children better his heart is captured by all three of them and he wants to make them a permanent part of his life. There are a few bumps along the way, but as he wants forever, she wants to take things a bit slower. She's been burned by marriage once and doesn't want to jump right into that situation again so soon. I loved the banter between the guys of Reed Security and the chuckles you will experience at their expense, not only them but there are children involved so you know you are going to get a few with them in the scene.

A total joy to read, I highly recommend this book!

This is book 11 in this series. While it can be a standalone, with all the characters in this book from the previous books, it would be beneficial to at least read some of them to help you understand the dynamics and just learn who everyone is. During this book I had to refer back to a book or two to remind myself who everyone was. Love this series but since it has been going on for a while, there are quite a few people in and out of this book.
Gabe works for Reed Security and is very serious about his job. When he meets Isa, he knows he wants her. And when they get together it is explosive. But getting Isa to agree that they should be together will take some work. Plus she is still going through a divorce and it isn't final yet. Isa has her doubts of getting out of one relationship and jumping right into another one. And she has two kids that are her first priority. Can Gage get Isa to know that she is the one for him? While this had mystery and action, it was also funny in places and very well thought out. Greatly enjoyed this book!

Gabe was literally your typical playboy. Had no cares in the world and lived for having a good time. Then he meets Isa and as usual he was in for a wild one night stand as was she. But the next morning when he tires to leave and comes face to face with his team mate things are taking a turn for the 'worse' or is it. Isa is the sister of one of his co-workers.
Isa's life has been an uphill lately. After a hard break up of her marriage. She is starting over with her kids and the last thing she needs is another man. But for some reason Gabe is getting under her skin and it seems like she and her kids are doing the same thing to him.
Looks like the wild passionate one night stand might just be something that both of them are not quit ready to admit could turn into something so much more.

What a nice surprise read. I signed up for this ARC without actually reading the whole blurb. All I read was a single mother and that got me hooked. This book was a good surprise. Hot, steamy, sweet, romantic funny and so much more. Definitely a good read for me

It was supposed to be a one night stand. Gabe meets Isa, an attractive woman, spends the night at her apartment and leaves the next morning, no harm no foul. Everything turns upside down when he opens the door to find one of his friends/team members dropping off Isa’s kids and he realizes that one night may not be enough.

All Isa wanted was a break for herself and not only does her brother know what happened, he knows the man it happened with and now the man isn’t content to let it end. She has just ended a bad marriage so the last thing she needs is to enter into a new relationship so why can’t Gabe be like every other man and be content with a one night stand.

Hot chemistry, humorous, banter and just enough suspense to keep you on edge. I loved watching Gabe trying to convince Isa and her children that they belonged together and catching up with all the characters at Reed Security is always fun. This is a great series and this book is no exception.

I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
I love and loathe when these books come out! Love because I can't wait to read them, but loathe because it means I have another month to wait for the next one!! As you've come to expect of this series, it's a brilliant read with the normal array of characters we've come to love. If you haven't read any of this series yet - where have you been? You've missed so much! This can easily be read as a stand alone, but the previous books are so brilliant why wouldn't you want to read them? and as the same characters appear in the series (differing main characters in each) you can fully understand and feel more immersed in the storyline. This one follows Gabe and Isabella and the laugh out loud moments they have, as well as the normal security threat we've come to expect where the boys can come racing in to save the day! I seriously recommend if you read one series of books this year - make it this one!

This was yet another great book by Giulia Lagomarsino. I have read all the previous books in the series and over this long time I am beginning to forget things. It would be amazing to have a list of characters and their descriptions at the beginning of the book, maybe even listing which book centers on each. There might not be time to do this for the release of this book, but maybe for the next one in the series? I think it would be very helpful. As far as this book, Gabe and the Reed Security agents are busy rescuing people and then have to rescue and protect a woman named Isabella as well. Lagomarsino continues to write great scenes of action/adventure as well as great sex scenes. I highly recommend this book, as well as all the others!

Gabe is at the bar with his Reed Security buddies when he spies and picks up Isa. Unbeknownst to him, she is Cazzo’s younger sister and she doesn’t know he works with her brother. She is in the process of divorcing her jerk husband who wants a good wifey to stay home, take care of the house and kids while he is philandering. Gabe meets her two kids and her brother at the door the next morning. Things don’t go so good for him when her brother finishes with him. But he is determined that she is the one. Her kids are adorable and funny. Now, you want to talk about funny? This book is worth the hairy legs and granny underwear!! There’s some drama with a hairy spider and some jewel hunters. Not as hair (there’s that hair thing again) raising as some of the other books, just just as enjoyable as is the whole series!

Gage spots a woman in a bar and goes home with her only to finds out she is Cazzo's sister.
Gage is in a bar with colleague Jackson when ha spots a beautiful woman and goes to talk to her. They leave together but the next morning he wakes up to some shock she has two children and is Cazzo's sister. The later of which results in him being beaten unconscious and dumped miles from home in just his jeans. Isabella is divorcing her cheating husband but he is delaying signing the papers so when her brother offers to take her children for the night she decides that instead of unpacking she will go out to have some fun. When the big buff guy comes up to her she takes him home with her. A Reed Security romance to relax and enjoy.

So far I have loved everyone one of Giulia Lagomarsino's books, they just get better and better and this one is no exception. Gabe has appeared in quite a few previous books but none have given you much into he's background, just a few little hints along the way and this made him so much more mysterious. I've been dying for this book to be released.
Gabe meets a hot lady in a bar and thinks it's going to be another night of steamy sex, but this lady makes a huge impression on him straight away, not only with the way they get along, but the fact she has children which Gabe doesn't mind but the real spanner in the works turns out to be her brother who Gabe works with...…
The story is really romantic, and hilarious in places, you will not be disappointed...
