5 Cranky Stars
What a page turner !!!! Emerson was adopted into money, not for love but for status. She was raised properly and married off to David, plenty of money, arrogant rich boy. An accident happened early in their marriage that David blamed Emerson for. He and his parents made her life hell. Her only friend was the hired help, Andrew, who helped her out a lot with David when he was drunk and at his nastiest. One night he took out one of his pride and joys a one-off Bugatti and totalled it just in the grounds. He blamed her of course.
Andrew to the rescue knew people who could restore the car back to its original glory. David made Emerson go with the car to oversee the restoration. When she arrived it was like a whole new world she had never seen before and she looked very out of place in her suits. Nobody was happy with this arrangement especially the owner Donavan. As time went on Emerson evolved into Ems and realised the fun that could be in life. She made true friends that liked her for her. She wanted to leave David, but he had other ideas. After setting the showroom on fire, Ems knew she had to go back with him before he hurt somebody. She was treated even worse by them all on her return.
There is so much to this book and more. It is packed full of emotions and drama. I was gripped from the first page to the very last.

Oh, the emotions…This book was a rollercoaster, one that I was more than thrilled to be a part of! The storyline and characters made this book incredible.

Emerson is unhappily married to David who together with his parents treats her horrendously. Emerson is blames for absolutely everything that goes wrong in David’s world, and when he crashes his beloved car, it is arranged by a friend that she goes with the car to oversee the restoration. This does not go down well at first with the restorer, but as time goes by Emerson is accepted and liked for being herself. Will David let her go though? This is a beautifully written story which is filled with drama, and is a gripping and intense read from the very beginning. I was intrigued and captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and look forward to reading more from this talented author, whose work I recommend for all.

BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED is a love story, but really it’s more about Emerson Dawson, and her own journey from an obedient, trapped, abused wife, to a flourishing, independent, self-confident person. When Emerson’s wealthy and abusive husband, David, crashes his expensive, luxury vehicle, he sends Emerson with the car to babysit it while it’s being repaired. I loved this original concept that placed Emerson in a new world—one of casual, small town race car drivers, and snarky sexy mechanics like Donovan “Van” Bradley.
Completely out of her element, Emerson adapts to her new surroundings, and falls for Van’s charisma and down to earth charm. He’s not one for long term relationships, and she’s married, so these two dance around each other in cute ways throughout the story. They get to know each other, and find that there’s more to “Ems,” as Van adorably calls her, than meets the eye, and that Van’s world isn’t all fast cars and fast women, either. Finally, when Emerson starts to open up about her marriage, and Van starts to open his heart to the idea of love, they realize that although they come from different backgrounds, they are perfectly suited for one another. But David isn’t going to make it easy, of course.
I loved how Ms. Madley worked around Emerson’s marriage, never making the reader feel like Emerson was doing anything wrong. Van was always respectful of the marriage, and Emerson had more restraint and honor than I’d expect from someone in her character’s position. Besides the love story, I also enjoyed how Emerson and Callie’s friendship evolved into a true bond, and helped Emerson realize that she had so much to offer as a friend. Emerson’s journey throughout BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED is one of hope, love, and self-worth, and I loved watching this character grow and “come of age” to be strong and follow her dreams. I hope that Callie’s story is next in the series, and look forward to spending more time in the BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED world!

Wow I really liked Beautifully Restored it was one of those stories that had me hooked from the very first page and stayed with me after I reached the end . This would be the first book thatI;ve read by Trisha Madley and it wont be my last I can't wait to explore more books by the author . I had mixed feelings about Emerson and Donovan they were so complex but as the story went on I understood their actions and why they were that why to one another from first meeting . Poor Emerson my heart really broke for her she is one of those characters that made me want to know her history I'm so happy that she met the hero she really needed one . Oh Donovan I liked him but at times he did upset me with how he went about things so that he wouldn't be with the heroine in was understandable but a little crappy I still fell for him though . There are also characters you'll HATE and some that you will love and hope that they get their own story . I can't wait to read future books by the author I'm excited to see what's to come .

A Beautiful Restoration
Beautifully Restored is a book about a girl, Emerson, who is in a very unhappy marriage with her husband, David. Emerson and David were in an accident that caused David to have his leg amputated and he blames Emerson for ruining his life. David drinks a lot and wrecks his Bugatti. He ends up sending Emerson to a restoration shop to oversee the restoration of his beloved car. Emerson and Van end up catching feelings for each other while she’s there. And I won’t tell you anymore cause I don’t wanna ruin the story!
Ok so this book had SO much potential. I think the storyline between Emerson and Van could have been sooo much better. I didn’t get a connection from them like I wanted to. I felt like things should have been more detailed. I felt like both characters could have had more depth. Ace’s character was very confusing to me cause I didn’t understand his roll. There was a lot of grammatical errors as well so it seemed like there wasn’t much editing done. Overall, the book wasn’t terrible with a few tweaks, this book could be really good!

When I first began reading this book, I thought it was going to be about a snobby rich girl, who always gets what she wants…. when she wants. I was completely wrong; this book was so much more… I found myself reading at all hours of the night unable to put this book down. I had so much disgust for Emerson’s husband David that all I wanted was for her to find happiness. She is forced to stay in a marriage where she is not respected or appreciated. Her husband who is still babied by his parents, blames all his problems on his wife. He ends up destroying his prized possession forcing Emerson to be responsible for overseeing that “his baby” gets fixed properly. Donovan completely stole my heart, I kept hoping that he would be the one to help Emerson find her way. The way that he manages to take care of everyone around him, only makes me hope that he can also allow Ems (as the small town called her) to be the one to change is world as well. This story has some twists and turns and is a good intriguing story. I will defiantly be reading more books by this author.

But when life takes a tragic turn, she is treated horribly and is guilted into staying in a marriage full of hate and nastiness. Donovan Bradley is a hard working, beautiful and confident man that isn’t afraid of getting his hands dirty. Soon he able to open Emerson’s eyes to how she should be treated and what she is missing in her life. A sweet and loving journey.

Van and his people are rough. They have no problem calling things as they are. They all know something is wrong with this bizarre Bugatti babysitting job Em is sent on by her husband as they repair it.
They just aren't prepared for how bad it can be. HEA

My first book by Trisha and i love it.
This story was heartbreakingat times, the way Emerson is treated by her husband is disgusting. she's stuck with him and holds no hope for happiness in the future with him but a trip changes things, she finds safety, compassion and love in an unlikely place and with people she didnt think she would connect with.
I love Emerson and Van their interaction is funny at times and just so endearing. The secondary characters are brilliant, the story unfolds beautifully.
An emotional and sweet read and cant wait to read more by Trisha.

Wow! This book was so much more than I had expected. It was an amazing story that is written very well.
Emerson is a woman who has lost herself to guilt and Donovan is a man who is willing to do anything to show her that she doesn’t deserve the way she lives.
Beautifully Restored is a heart wrenching, must read page-turner and I highly recommend it to all Romance lovers.

Loved the characters!
Without giving away too much, I like how Trisha weaves the story of a woman that survives emotional abuse because she feels it’s her fault!
However, this story moves forward with showing just how much strength someone can have when they have people that care, love and support the person!

Pretty good read...needs more steam?
Pretty good read. There were a few grammar issues but the storyline was good. Could have been a little....steamer. At times I thought it was "going to get good" and then nothing. If it was meant to be semi-steamy then I guess it does that.

I really liked this book! I will say, I started off mad in the beginning but that’s only because Emmy’s husband is a you know what. And She didn’t deserve to be treated like that at all. But later in the story, I was so glad that she met Van. They were complete opposites but opposites attract! I cannot wait to read more from this author and see what she has in store for us next.

I couldn't put this book done. It was so good...
The chemistry between Emerson and Van is intense..
There are a few funny moments.
This book is packed full of drama.

Emerson is treated badly by everyone who should love her. Then she meets Donovan, and her life changes. I really liked this book. At first I felt so bad for Emerson but, will she find true love? Read this book.

The story was beautifully written. The story is about Emerson who is a married to someone who is horribly abusive. And is stuck in a life that miserable. In a twist of fate, her husband forces her into a situation that ends up give her the chance to finally break free and be happy.

The book was amazing, not because of the arrogance of the rich and famous. it Just brings to life how we as women can forsake our feelings over quilt. Am happy Van did not give up on her because she was married.

4.3 Stars for the roller coaster story
This is the first time I read from this author and she did an excellent job of giving readers an emotion train. The plot is simple and easy to understand. And yes, what happened in the story does happen in real life. Some people did married for money and in exchange for an unhappy married life. Luckily for Emerson, she did meet some friends (here's where everyone wishes life will be.)
I do recommend this story to you lot. Though there is one thing I don't like about>>>> the cover! I don't like it at all. Luckily the story is really good one so happy reading~

Emerson had such a horrible life, she was in a marriage that was a living nightmare. She was treated horribly by her husband and in-laws, everything was always her fault.
One night in a drunken stupor her husband David ends up totalling one of his favorite cars and of course Emerson was blamed for it. Andrew who is one of the hired help knows someone who can help fix the car so David makes Emerson go along to oversee the repairs. This is where the story really starts to kick in and Emerson gets a view at what life really should be like and what real friends are. Emerson wants to leave David, but will he let her go?
I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. I loved Emerson and my heart went out to her and what she went through. I wanted to see her find happiness. All of the secondary characters were great, some I really disliked because of what they did and others captured my heart.
