This is pretty good, a different take on little red riding hood completely. I only wish it was longer and more involved in the guys’ relationship. It was more focused on the dead hoods and why. I would love a sequel.
Blah... 2.5 stars...

I might have enjoyed this book more except the tone of the book never really changed.. no matter what happened... Battle? Betrayal? Sex? Love? Might as well of been talking about the weather with your 80 year old grandpa....

I liked it. Fairy tale meets medieval justice system. It was a fun and refreshing spin, full of mystery and adventures. So much was going on that romance took a backseat and progression to triad was somewhat forced and unconvincing. But the adventures were highly entertaining.
Maybe it was too short to allow for a deeper relationship and it ended with a tentative HFN.
Would love to read a sequel.

While this novella is mostly fantasy and not romance (or erotica), the characters are decent and well executed and the story is intriguing. Novellas are sometimes trickier to get right due to the length limitation, but this one is well made - the right proportion between character development, plot development and world building. Kind of asks for a sequel, though.

This needs to be proof-read! The mistakes were glaring! The story itself was not bad but there was too little romance.

I was enjoying this one until it took a weird turn - weird because it seemed to come out of no where and felt contrived.
I would read something by this author again, though
