31 Days of Healing: A Devotional
The purpose of this book is to connect you to the God of healing and miracles. Through the testimonies of healing in the biblical accounts of Jesus and His disciples, you will read of the keys that unlocked the doors to the realm of the miraculous for those individuals in need. What happened to those men, women and children can be your reality, because Jesus is the same compassionate healer today, as He was when He walked this earth over two thousand years ago. The conduit to connect you to His power is unchanged, and is through faith in His name and in His promises to us from His Word. Heaven has backed the integrity of the name of Jesus with power for those that will believe and trust in Him. These daily devotions will introduce you to this wonderful God and Savior and will reveal to you that His words are faithful and true to anyone who will humbly believe them and receive them into their lives. Before I actually begin my review of this book, I believe it’s best if we recall the promise and declaration the Lord himself said when he’d proclaimed that he is the healer of his children in EXODUS 15:26 [NKJV]:
“If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”
The first thing one should notice about this 31-day devotional book is its sheer size, as it doesn’t skim in bring each day’s devotional. While most devotionals for each day offer a haphazard collection of parable stories with appropriate scripture; while this book by T.M.Leszko also offers for each day a parable story with appropriate scripture but with one major difference, one day’s devotional revolves around our Lord, the Great Physician, Jesus and a healing miracle he had been involved with.
For each day author Leszko begins by offering an enticing tidbit for what is to follow, followed by scripture and discussion regarding the story of the healing which took place, followed by a brief prayer, and culminating an empowering declaration with scripture.
This book is an empowering, uplifting reading experience for all believers in the Lord. This book is an educational reading experience regarding the power of the Lord in transforming the lives of the suffering by healing their affliction for all those who read this book. It is for these reasons, as a somewhat voracious reader of Christian book, I’m glad to be able to give Mr. Leszko the 5 STARS he so richly deserves.
