Nice way to travel the world with kids and introduce to famous locations. The illustrations were a little cluttered and I think it was a bit overwhelming visually to really appreciate the architecture and cultural aesthetics of the different places.

This was a highly interesting book and great, and famous streets, from across the globe. You visited many countries and learned a little about their culture and society along the way.
Each street, from Lombard in San Francisco to the Venice canal, which is not technically a street like we think of them, readers were taken on a globe trotting adventure. Each street was it's own two page spread in the book with the whole two pages being an illustration of the street, with a paragraph of accompanying text. This book, geared toward a young audience would be good for upper elementary school age up.
My only complaint was the illustrations. They were very cluttered, and busy. Also, in many cases not a lot of detail. The book is for children, and I understand that, I just thought a little less clutter and so more lifelike detail would really help to bring this book to life. They were very vibrant and colorful though, a plus indeed.

Vibrant illustrations carry the reader through a tour of bustling streets found around the world. Each thoroughfare contains a brief description that provides a snapshot of what life is like for the people who occupy these streets on a daily basis. Brief but exciting. A nice prompt for further reading about different lands and people.

Але блін, вона така красива! Буде мені за нагадування продовжувати мріяти про подорожі. Милі ілюстрації та по декілька коротких речень про кожну вулицю дійсно пробуджують бажання побачити їх на власні очі.

Книга щоб помріяти про майбутні подорожі. Я уявляла як гулятиму цими вулицями, шукала їх на гугл картах і додавала в списки. Не вистачає координат або назв англійською, бо деякі з них так і не вдалось нагуглити.
