Faking It

Rate this book
"Sure, I'll pretend to be your wife".

I can't believe those words came out of my mouth, when my Boss asked me to be his fake-wife.
Cody Leith.
He needs me to play happy family so that he can close a billion dollar deal.
Sexy as hell or not, I would never marry such a pompous, arrogant bastard in a million years!

I don't like his plan to fake it at all, but desperate situations need desperate measures.
And "desperate" is the understatement of the year when it comes to my life.
I moved to this town with dreams of making it big as a fashion designer.
Now I'm just a broke secretary with tarnished aspirations and without a love life.

Well, maybe I can take this lemon and make lemonade.
After all, acting like I’m in love with him is easy.
Too easy.
The way he looks at me, touches me, protects me.

It just feels so unbelievably good.
All of a sudden, I'm not sure if this is fake anymore...

This is a complete romance standalone novel with a guaranteed HEA!

I voluntarily read and reviewed after receiving a copy.

This is the first I have read from Leah Lee and truly enjoyed it. She puts a good spin on "Hey, can you be my fake wife?" I did not want to put this down. There were a few curves thrown in there that made for a little more drama that just added to the story. The estrangement that Cody and Olivia have from both of their families definitely added to that. The connection they had toward each other was also well done - you can really get a feel for the emotions they are each experiencing. The ups and downs - second guessing of decisions - the love - and definitely the heart break. There were times while reading that I routed for both of them and also was thinking, just get out of here I'm done with you already, LOL.

I look forward to reading more for Leah for sure!

I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy. I could not put this down! Could not get enough of the romance & hot, steamy sex scenes. Leah Lee is definitely one of my favorite authors & am looking forward to reading more from her 😉

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Olivia was in a new town. she had to move away after the death of her father, the distance that has grown between her and her mother. Taking a job as a secretary for a high rise publisher.
Cody needed a family or more like fake wife, to get a big time writer. Now with a contract between the two for fake husband and wife for the upcoming wedding of Roberts Daughter. Will the two be able to keep it fake or was the attraction the flames to life be to much to anore. Once the deal is done can the two return back to normal or have deeper feeling come to light. This was wonderful read.

Very nice read

Liked the story a bit long, but lovely anyway. Cody and Oli ended up helping each other heal. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
