I have no intention of falling in love with the hot guy in the movie theater, I just want to get laid. (You would too, trust me.) And he's not-insignificantly younger than me so falling in love would be insane, right? Duh.

Love means sharing my chicken nuggets and keeping promises and always having to say you're sorry. Love is obligation.

But, turns out, I want to sing him B

All I can say is I'm a little sad that there's not more by this author? It's ridiculous. She's got a great style and I'm so thankful I saw Skye's review a few months ago.

First, a few disclaimers:
Age Gap-older woman 35, younger man 20 at meeting, 21 shortly after. I know that's enough to turn many of you off considering especially its present-day setting. I don't blame you. She's also a professor, although he neither is in one of her classes nor attends the same college. My brain personally did

Adorable (non-queer) f/m romance novella about an older pop culture professor gal and the hot young man she picks up at the movies. Just for sex, mind you! Not gonna be any feelings here, no way, nope! (And everyone in Romancelandia knows how well THAT always works out.)

It’s an age-difference romance with a nerdy female main character, and I think this should be more well known. But, it’s filed under “erotica” on Amazon which means it doesn’t come up in searches, is that how that works? :(

I gave this 4.5 but bumped it up to 5. The premise is a 35 year old woman who has a really funny meet cute with a 21 year old guy. (I had to suspend my belief a little bit here and bump up his age in my mind bc 21 is just so young in my book, but I was able to get past it mostly.) The MC's decide to embark on a summer fling. This book had some scorching hot sex scenes. It is also a novella but I thought it was the perfect length. Highly recommend if you don't mind the age gap. ...more

Steamy scenes and smart banter, pop culture references and a sardonic, self-aware voice make this debut romance novella shine. Make sure to reserve some time, because you'll end up blazing through the story in one sitting! ...more

It's not often that I find myself wondering more about the characters after finishing a book, but Bevvie and Noah really feel real and have stuck in my brain. The pop culture details really help cement that for me and bring a great sense of whimsy to this sexy romance. ...more
Loved the older woman/younger man fling (with heat) that turned into something special, including interesting characters for a shorter length work.

4.5 rounding up. A super refreshing age gap (reverse age gap, as the woman is older?) story. Short, but because of a lovely economy of language. A nice balance between romance and erotica. Definitely worth $2.99, despite the brevity. Highly recommended!
