This book's synopsis intrigued me when I stumbled upon it and, never having read a transgender romance before and not knowing much at all about that world, I was curious to delve into its pages.

And I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed this touching story, its very human characters and the author's sensitive approach. Proof of the universality of human emotions, whether the love dares speak its name or not, is found here. Anyone who has ever been deeply in love will recognize the feelings of this

I love this book. It really captures the feel of the 1980s. (It doesn't say so in the book, but I'm also pretty sure that the club being talked about is The Blitz club, London. Home of Steve Strange, New Romantics and much more besides. I also have an idea who the 'blonde boy' in the book might be... but as I'm not sure, I'm not going to say on here!)

Great characters. Someone should turn this into a film.

A sequel is a must.

Love it.

A beautifully crafted tale. The Eighties setting is brilliantly depicted and the characters really come to life. A recurring punctuation error (which does nothing to detract from the story) aside, this is excellent writing and I'll definitely be reading more by this author, as well as returning to this one in the future.
