David Wiesel lives for making music, partying, and women. He has a wicked sense of humor and a body made for sinning. He's the kind of guy every mama warns her daughter about.

Sylvia Price lives for her daughter, theater, and teaching. She's living the responsible life and left her wild ways in the past. She's the kind of woman every mama wants her son to marry. Not that sh

Now that I’ve awkwardly proposed to Julia Wolf after reading the previous book in this series I feel like I should offer to have her babies and really make this weird. Just kidding. Sort of. Once you read Watch Me Unravel you’ll fully understand why I am so obsessed with her writing. Where the last book was filled with hilarity David and Sylvia’s story is full of intense love and growth that kept me constantly happy sighing, tearing up and frankly falling completely in love with David.

When I picked up Watch Me Unravel, I couldn't put it down. David is a character that's a bit rough around the edges (at least that's what I knew after Times Like These), but there's so much more to him. David is the wild one, sleeps with different women all the time and isn't always seen as the nice guy. His life gets turned upside down though when he gets a call his daughter was in a car accident.

David and Sylvia slept together once 15 years ago when they were both teenagers. A broken condom ch

O.M.Freaking.G. This book grabbed me from the second I downloaded it. It has a beautiful, sexy cover and a wonderful beginning that sucked me right in. The chemistry between the David and his girl is HOT and swoon-worthy. Julia Wolf somehow always manages to write characters who are relatable and interesting.

David, the lead guitarist for a popular band "Blue is the Color" is getting along fine in life. His band is getting ready to take a year off and things are going good until he gets a late ni

This author just keeps proving that she’s perfecting her craft with each new book. David and Sylvia aren’t quite as gritty as Nick and Dalia were, but they are the reality of two people trying to co-parent when one is clueless and the other is left behind to keep everything together.

Sylvia is rightfully cautious and slightly bitter about how to tolerate David, since he’s been more of a drop-in dad to their daughter for her entire life, but finds herself thawing toward him when circumstances thr

This is the second book in a series, and a second chance romance. I loved David and Sylvia's path to a new beginning. David is a strong well meaning hero who has his share of inner demons, who is learning how to deal with his life, and Sylvia is a strong single mom who is unsure of David. Watching the give and take, and witnessing the compromises make for an in-depth and enjoyable read, and you root for them to find their happy ever after. This was a really good book.

When a serious accident happens to their daughter Emma, David and Sylvia are thrown together after fifteen years of parallel parenting. Having minimal interaction with each other, now the feelings they held close to themselves were exposed showing all the regret, hope and love they gradually built up for each other and allowing all the potential for romance that was there years earlier to finally be sifted through. This was not a second chance romance as much as it was a story of the right timin ...more

We met Dave the broodish guitar player in book one and not gonna lie he was a douche of epic proportions in that book. All we knew going in is that he was a manwhore with a teenage daughter from a one night stand. At the opening of this book it seems not much has changed in that regard, but then he gets a phone call that changes everything and he is thrust into a world he knows nothing about. Sylvia has always loved David but it has been made quite clear through endless heartbreaks and colossal ...more

Watch Me Unravel is book 2 in the Blue is the Color series and believe me when I say you must get your hands on this book ASAP!

We get to know a little bit about David in the first book, but this time we really get up close and personal with him. I absolutely loved how devoted he was to his daughter and it really showed throughout this book. The way his eyes are opened throughout the story is also wonderfully written. When his daughter, Emma, is in an accident David rushes home to be by her side

This story had me hooked from the moment I read for the blurb for it and even when I finished reading this story I could not stop thinking about the story or the characters in the story. The blurb was perfectly written by the author ebcause it did not give any of the stories away but gave enough detail to really pull you into the story. I love the way that these two main characters have a history with each other and they don't instantly get back together. They really explore their past with each ...more

Get ready for an all-nighter!

First, the title, Watch Me Unravel, is so very perfect. David and Sylvia have both wrapped themselves up so thoroughly in layers of emotional armor--and are equally and deliberately wound up with unspent...everything--you're going to be squirming in your comfy reading chair with anticipation as you wait for the breaking point. For it all to unravel and for these two to collide. And what a sweet frenzy it is when they do!

I especially love how much care the author take

Watch Me Unravel is the second book in the Blue is the Color series. While is is the second book in the series, it can be read as a stand alone. Even though this reader recommends you read the first book prior to this one to have more of a dynamic of the band members. The author does do a great job of reminding us readers who read the first book and for those that didn’t read the first one, about the other characters relationships so a new reader will not be lost.

David is a bad boy rockstar with the band Blue is the Color, he travels with his band and filling his nights with women to keep the silent away. Fifteen years ago his one night stand with a sweet virginal catholic school girl led to the birth of his daughter Emma, who he loves more than his own life. His daughter's mom Sylvia is a mystery to him, he barely remembers the night Emma was conceived. He only gets glimpse of her when he was would pick up Emma for brief stays with him over the years. Watch Me Unravel is Book 2 in the Blue is the Colour Series. I had the wonderful opportunity to read Book 1 in this series followed by this one. Whilst I think it could be read as a stand alone it is better having read the first book as it sets this one up perfectly in terms of knowing the back story and the characters.

Sylvia is a strong, fiercely independent single mother of Emma. Up until now her life has been focused on Emma, her job and her friends. One of my favourite parts about this book

This author is CRUSHING it! Seriously, she's one to watch I've enjoyed every one of her books and with each one it seems she gets just that much better.
David and Sylvia's story was just perfect for them. They overcame all kinds of hurdles to get to each other (hurdles they put in their own path much of the time) and really proved that sometimes maybe people are meant for each other in their own time. We change, we grow, as we live through each life experience, sometimes we need those changes to

There just aren't enough stars to accurately reflect how amazing this story and Julia's writing is.

This book is just so clever, rock star romance may seem a bit of a cliche, but not here. He may be a rock star, but this story is about his life, his insecurities and the fact that false impressions can delay fate, but not change it. Julia's writing is stunning, her take on a main character's anxiety is so real, you get so involved in the characters your heart will break at the low points. Our hero

I loved being back in the book world with my favorite fictional band, Blue is the Color, again. I had a feeling David's story was going to be something special since it involved his daughter and her mother, and Julia Wolf did not disappoint me. This book definitely had a more domesticated feel because the band is taking a break from touring and you are no longer watching a love story as it develops on the road. I found that I liked the change of setting because it was fun to see the guys on thei ...more

It’s no secret. I love Julia Wolf’s books and I am happy to provide a review for the ARC she gave me.

Watch Me Unravel is the second book in the Blue is the Color series. This book stars David, a carefree rockstar guitarist. I couldn’t help but like David in the first book. He was flirtatious and fun and obviously loved his teenage daughter. The book starts with David being woken by his daughter’s mother Sylvia to say there had been an accident. He rushes back home from touring in Germany to find

Watch Me Unravel is the 2nd installment in the Blue is the Color series. While it is not necessary to have read Times like These it is helpful so you have more information about many of the characters. In this installment, we learn much more about Guitarist David Wiesel getting his backstory including both his daughter, Emma, and her mother, Sylvia.

Ms Wolf once again does an amazing job creating characters that you will love. She also does a wonderful job with David's issues with both anxiety a

This is David’s story with his daughter and Sylvia. They had her when they were young but Sylvia has had to raise her basically by her self. She has resentment built up as she’s had to deal with everything on her own. Davis has his own demons and thinks watching Emma from afar is enough. But when Emma ends up in the hospital her parents have to come together to take care of her. David and Sylvia have to deal with everything from the past as they find themselves still attracted to each other. Wil

Want a a rock star, second chance romance with a lot of feeling? This is definitely a story you want to read. I loved David and was excited for his character development and story. His character is well developed and some of his issues are relatable from personal demons to his relationship with Sylvia. Second chances are almost always deserved but will it work for Sylvia and ...more

This book was such an easy read for me. It kept my attention from start to finish. David was an a** but he loved his daughter. I just don't know if he knew how to fully be present. I think he needed to not only find balance, but to grow up. I think Sylvia needed a partner, and not just a support system to lean on. She had to grow up fast, and wanted to do things her way. I think they both needed to let go and trust.

What an amazing Rockstar Romance!
It’s one you don’t want to miss!
I loved David and Sylvia’s story!
Having Emma so young made for a rocky relationship between parents and child. Although an accident threw then back together they had a lot to work on to be together. Julia has written another beautiful love story that captures you and keeps you entertained all the way through it! You won’t be able to put it down!
If you like a fabulous second chance rockstar romance then Watch Me Unravel is for you!

This is the second book in the Blue is the Color series. It was fun to get to know more about David, Syl and their daughter Emma. From the first book, I wondered about David and how he handled being a famous rockstar with a teenage daughter. I completely adored David and Sylvia's story, and their second chance at love 15 years later. I was totally mesmerised and invested as soon as I started reading, Julia's writing just sucks you into its depths and doesn't let you go until the end.
This is a beautifully crafted, emotional story that has everything you need in a Romance.

This book was fantastic I loved how two people who ultimately didn't know each other but at the same time did. David and Sylvia's relationship was a rollercoaster ride it had its ups and downs Emma's situation evidently made them closer than they had realized which was terrifying but they eventually got there happily ever after.
