Euan McLeod had served his time in the military and had found a new band of brothers in his colleagues at Rescue Inc. His days were full and rewarding, helping those in need but all that changed and the stakes had been raised. Now, he and his brothers were involved in something so much bigger than themselves: rescuing the blood slaves and bringing down the Vampire Council.
Hours of planning, stakeouts and sifting through endless reams data had led them to this point. Failure was not an option, their lives and that of the American people... maybe even the world depended on the success of their mission. Logan Cox had lost so much at the hands of the council. Almost all his family were now gone, except him and his brother, the only survivors of a massacre. He knew the instant he met Euan that he was staring into the eyes of his future, but he didn’t know how to react.
Finding his mate in the midst of all this was terrible timing, and after surviving alone with his brother from the age of twelve, he’d had little exposure to life. The only thing he wanted to focus on right now was to bringing down the council and avenging the death of his family.
Now they had to work together to bring the council’s reign to an end and usher in a new future, but would they survive, or would they die trying?

Human Euan McLeod had served his time in the military and was now part of the team at Rescue Inc. Now he was part of a team working towards rescuing the blood slaves and bringing down the Vampire Council. It was one night on a stakeout, as he watched a location they believed to be holding humans as slaves, that he met the vampire who would change his future - his mate.
Wow, we made it to the end of the series and the dramatic conclusion as the plot for vampires to take over and make humans mere blood slaves was stopped. I loved Euan and his mate Logan who were a great fit. The identity of the new vampire king was inspired. I am sad that this series is over but glad we meet them again in a new series sometimes. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story containing mature content.

Logan & Evan
This was a hell of a ending to a long and interesting series.
Character breakdown;
Logan: I liked Logan took me a while to get used to the idea of him and Euan though but it was nice to see them together. Logan was adorable.
Euan: loved his character and how can do he was, creeped me out a bit how easily he wanted Logan and didn’t mind doing things with him. It wasn’t predatory but it took time to get used to it.
Favorite quote: “We have my old place. That’s where we’ll be living.” “I’m excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time.” “A whole new adventure, hun.”
I cannot wait to read the spin-off series! Shifters here I come!!

WOW AMAZING !!!!
I give this a 10 but only allowed a max 5. This whole series had me hooked from the very beginning but this one was the star but. I love this series and can not wait for the others. If you have not read the first 9 prior to this it's a must to follow along and know who is who and the conditions they all have. This is a must read and I WILL be doing a lot of re-reading this series a lot.

Can't believe we have come to the end of the series i have loved every book, thanks Megs Pritchard for giving us this world to enjoy. Thankfully it is not the complete end of our favourite characters as they will be popping in on the new series coming out about the shifters who she introduced us to looking forward to reading them, if you haven't read this series please do I highly recommend them.

Freakishly Delicious
This is another series that has kept me waiting and excited for the next book. If you love vampires then this is a series I strongly recommend you read. You will not be disappointed!! All I want to know is when does the spin off from this series begin cause I'm ready to begin.

What a collection,it has had me on the edge all the way through.
All the characters,the story lines everything.
I am sad to see it end but glad of the happy ending.

What an ending!

Loved this book. This is a good ending for a good series. I'm sad that this is the last book but I'm excited for the next series. This is a definite reread for me.

This was a great ending to the series. It was a long hard road for the characters of Rescue Inc but they all finally got their HEA.

Overall I enjoyed this series as a whole. It has complex storyline and plot that is intriguing. I was hooked early on and couldn’t stop reading until I finished the whole series.

Good read
What a fantastic way to end a series. Didn't expect the new king but a nice twist especially with the news of a spin off series . Enjoyed this series immensely
