Loving Me For Me
Will they survive her tragic past, his traditional family, and those who would rather see them dead than in love? Though Devesh's culture and status along with a secret Reign planned to take to her grave has kept them apart for nearly five years; a chance meeting brings them face-to-face once again. This time, Devesh, a wealthy Californian bachelor, is determined to be with Reign despite his family's wishes. The couple has more at stake, forcing them to confront their deepest fears, overcome unforeseen obstacles, and challenge the media as well as enemies who are closer to home.

He soon puts everyone on notice that he believes love is 'til death do us part--even if Devesh has to send someone to an early grave to protect her.

Amazing out of the box storyline.
I’ve learned to expect the unexpected during any Naleighna Kai read. You can never prepare yourself for the roller coaster ride. Kai takes you on a journey in this novel and teaches you about Indian culture and some of the biases of the world we live in. This is all tied into a remarkable storyline. As always a job well done. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Loving Me for Me is intriguing multicultural interest romance by Naleighna Kai.
Naleighna Kai strikes just the right chord between humorous and serious in this cultural romance. Readers are introduced to East Indian culture and traditions, as she explores serious women’s issues. The characters are vibrant. The dialogue vivid. Loving Me for Me is a 5 star read that I highly recommend to all readers of romance.

Mind blastingly good
I don't even know where to start with this review because this book is so multilayered and each layer is enriching to the soul.
First of all, the character development was amazing. I felt like by the end of the book I knew Reign and the twins on a personal level. Each character was well understood by the end of it.
Secondly, this is such a beautifully written interracial relationship in that there's both an acknowledgment of the differences and nuances of each race and an acceptance and appreciation of each together with their respective cultures.
Thirdly, there is a balanced approach of genuine questioning and curiosity as to the involvement of religion in the daily practice of each individual and we see Reign's quest for a religion that works for her. She is open minded and tries different ones and the fact that her children were comfortable with sitting in the Hindu space.
Fourth, the clear investment in the welfare of Reign's children and their recognition as human beings with autonomy and authenticity. This is partly as a result of Reign's past childhood trauma and her need to make sure they are well equipped to navigate the world - be it through their religious practice, their self defence moves, their intellect, their interest in board games and the underlying lessons from it over TV. I have learnt a lot on how to raise a child through that.
Fifth, Reign navigating her childhood trauma and being the ultimate risk taker but very educated so her ability to navigate the music industry and get her husband's career on track.
Sixth, the ultimate strength of the Black woman through getting married on a whim for the best of her children, navigating a new culture and way of life, pivoting into managing careers, being present and involved and taking care of her children and others, managing family dynamics, embracing the difficulties of the molestation, working on her own past, the kidnapping and her past relationship. She faced everything head on.
It was not only an amazing book but I learnt a lot. I totally recommend all to read it

Loved this!
Great tale woven with strength, love and humor. Fantastic heroine who was fierce, sharp and wise in the midst of struggling with her own insecurities. Devesh was the hero to all heros, giving, optimistic, strong and passionately committed to protecting and loving his woman against all comers. A cast of interesting characters and a fascinating peek in to East Indian culture and family style. Really enjoyed it and could hardly put it down. A very worthy read!!!

From heartbreak to forever love
Reign has lived a harsh life with secrets and without much security. Devesh had led a life of privilege but engulfed with loneliness until Reign was there. Their adventures include a blending of culture and life. Reign brought freedom, truth awareness and love. Devesh and others soon realized the invaluable jewel that is Reign. Fabulous read..

This was a great read and full of family drama. Some of this drama is something that most families are going through but they keep silent. I love reading and learning about other cultures.
Great job Naleighna Kai!

I laughed, cried and felt all the in between
A throughly great read! There were many twist and turns but highly enjoyable! Definitely recommended IR book with a black girl magic lead. That Aunt was something else.

I enjoyed this book so much. I couldn't put it down from when I started. A older woman younger man interracial love story with past hurt, meddling family and crazy ex's. Really good read!

Great read! A mixture of religions, cultures, and age but love concures all. You will fall in love with some of the adult characters and hate some but most of all love the twin children. Please read it is a great book.

Good Read
I enjoyed Davesh and Reign’s relationship, and the interactions with his crazy family. I don’t know how Reign held out so long before putting Teyia in her place. Overall a good read and great storyline.

I enjoyed this book. The only person I didn't like is Tiya. I'm not going to spoil it, but when you read how she treated her brother's kids then you will understand what I'm talking about. I read the short story of Ali and Joy, which introduces Indian culture.

This is an interesting read. It's about interracial marriage and the challenges faced by the couple. But it's good to see Devesh and Reign overcome their challenges and having their happily ever after. "I got this book from eBook discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review".

Better than I thought
I would not have thought this was going to be a book to deal with so many issues. Most families bury them and think everyone is okay but it requires healing.

Great read.
This was a great read. I love the love the male character had for the female character. First time reading a book by this author and won’t be the last.

I saw the cover and wanted to read a sample, after reading , I downloaded the story. It no longer mattered what the couple looked like because I became enmeshed in their story.

I enjoy the book
Enjoyed the short love story, but wish there was more. I wanted to know more about Ali and Joy's relationship.

Love inspiring
As a avid reader and some what jaded woman, this story shows that attraction, kindness and consistency come with love.
