This was so much more than a modern day love story written about three women. We get to follow these ladies collectively as friends and separately as individuals dealing with life and love. What I ultimately loved about this story is the theme of sisterhood and knowing that no matter what your status in life you will always need a protective circle of friends to help you through the ups and downs.

This is my first time reading this author and I do plan to read more. Looking forward to the next installment.

Good read

I truly loved the relationship these women shared. It was genuine and full of love. There was no 'cattiness' and they had each other's backs. They were strong, individually and collectively. This is why they were able to deal with cheating, abusive husbands or take a chance on love. Enjoyed this read.

Another fire book

This book was so good. I felt bad for Bobbi and then Tina I wanted to slap. I'm glad that everything turned out good. I can't wait to read part 2. Aseera has become one of my favorite authors.

This book follows a group of women who are all friends. It's really an introduction to what lies ahead for each of them in independent books within the series. This is primarily a setup and it isn't a romance in of itself. Instead, it sets up the struggles each woman has had in their love lives and introduces potential partners for them. This is a start for something more.

I really liked the friendship dynamic best and I love the way all of these women support each other and care for one another. I'm looking forward to reading this series, mainly to see each of the friends' arcs and more of them supporting each other.

The story revolves around the friendship between Bobbi, Tina & Kenna. All successful and damaged in their own right and looking for peace, love & happiness. The story touches on spousal abuse, adultery, and fear of the unknown. I think the author gave us an interesting feel-good story. While it (the story) keeps almost a superficial feel to it, I am invested enough to see what happens in the future.
