Awesome , I can’t say enough good things about Alicia’s shifter books , a this series is wonderful.
Hot Alphas , feisty Lupas , all make this one of the best shifter/paranormal series around.
Darius and Adrianna are made for each other , and to watch Frankie and Grant’s response to her True Mate and there predicament at the close of the book is priceless .
Can’t wait for more , and to see where we go next in the battle with the Mages

I received Arc from the author for an honest review.
This is my 3rd review i wrote for the author, the net line keep bugging my review. Anyway in my opinion it is hard to keep writing books in a saga series, but harder to do it the second time around. I love Ms Montgomery, she managed to keep the basic principles but allow the story to grow differently. The main characters showed the same vulnerabilities but from different side of the coin. The supporting characters strengthen the story. Love the cousins interaction, u can see the genuine love btw them. Just wondering, were the older generation never or didn't educate or advice enough of their children about fated mates. The 2nd gen seems too cynical or skeptical of their possible mate. Anyway 4.5 stars for a great book and can't wait for Lucas's book.

Flowing story

Not one of my favourites from this author.
Intriguing to see what is happening with the next generation but this one just didn’t grab me like book one did.
Whilst I enjoyed this story, I found it easy to put down as it was quite obvious from the beginning how this was going to play out.
The ending to me was anti climatic.

This second book in the True Mates Generations saga is a really good one. I love how so many details were flushed out at the end. I am looking forward to the book about Lucas.

Claiming the Alpha is the second book in True Mates Generations series. Adrianna is about to become the Alpha of New Jersey, but she’s not the happiest about her fate, especially knowing that there’s a mafia family in her territory. Darius’ life is all about The Family, and when his uncle tells him to get close to the soon to be Alpha and spy on her, he follows directions. Adrianna and Darius feel drawn together, even though they shouldn’t, but just Adrianna feels safe and finds out life altering news, danger comes her way. Will Darius help keep Adrianna safe, or will he side with The Family?
This book was really interesting to me and I really enjoyed Adrianna and Darius! I loved that there was the Romeo and Juliette feel to the story, where they both knew they shouldn’t be together, they kind of stood on opposite sides of things, but they couldn’t resist the pull they felt for each other. Adrianna was fierce and protective of her employees, but I loved that she didn’t feel overly confident when it came to becoming the next Alpha. It helped her become relatable, because who wouldn’t be nervous with all of the responsibilities that come with the new position?! Darius was fascinating for me because he had all the new feelings towards Adrianna, even though he knew he shouldn’t be feeling them, and only wanted to keep her safe, even if that meant staying away from her, when that was the last thing he wanted. I loved their dynamic, their connection, and their passion with each other. There’s a lot that happens with this book, and I really enjoyed how it all played out in the end! This was a great addition to the series and to this world that Ms. Montgomery has created!

I really enjoyed this story! It was a fun read and I loved the characters. This is the second book in the spin off series True Mates Generations. This book can be read as a standalone. I love getting to see the characters throughout the series so that is an extra plus for me. This story is well written and kept my attention from beginning to end. Adrianna is trying to come to grips with taking over as Alpha for her mom and moving to New Jersey. She has never been a 100% sure if the job was for her but she is about to find out. Darius finished growing up in The Family and is a top enforcer. He knows that he doesn't always agree with his Uncle, the head of The Family, but doesn't have much choice. He ends up assigned as Adrianna's bodyguard with his Uncle wanting him to spy. Adrianna and Darius have an instant connection to each other but Darius has no idea what to do with it. He doesn't want to put her in more danger from his Uncle and he doesn't want to hurt her. I loved how they interacted with each other and how things built for them. Darius just can't stand to see her hurting. There is plenty of action and intrigue in this story. The sex is explicit and blended into the story and action perfect. I really enjoyed it and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

What I liked: I enjoyed the overall storyline of this book and the series. The mages are out to get the lycan and they must be stopped. This is a continuation of the same storyline from the earlier series which follows all of these MCs parents. It's a unique enemy for sure.
What I didn't like: There were a few things I didn't enjoy about this book. First, the dialogue felt choppy at times. Sometimes the MMC would use contractions and other times he wouldn't. When he didn't it was slightly jarring. He is from another country and did move to America as a teen, but I would assume based on things said in the book that he would have fully assimilated to American speech patterns. The other thing I didn't really enjoy was how short the story was. It takes place in a few days. That's not typically a problem, but when you have an enemies to lovers tropes, especially a new one, you need time to build that up. At the most their families are enemies and they just had a hard time letting that go. They were never actually enemies themselves.

I'm loving these feisty, take-charge ladies!
It's time for Adrianna to step up an accept her role, and part of that means confronting the home-grown mob family in her territory. As part of that family, Darius knows change is needed, but he's got to be careful how he pursues it.
These two have amazing chemistry and I loved the way they teamed up to stand against the malevolent forces. One of my favorite parts of this entire series is the way the couples - usually the lady first - discovers that they're True Mates. This always adds a wonderful twist to the relationship as well as being such an empowering component to the story.
This is a terrific addition to a can't-miss series. We even get a bit of follow-up with Zac and Astrid, as well as a glimpse into another character's burgeoning relationship. Highly recommended for any True Mates fan! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Adrianna doesn't really want to be alpha of NJ like her mom and someone else doesn't want her to either. Darius is the enforcer for his uncle who is more of a mobster than an alpha and has little respect for women. Darius is stuck between his loyalty to his alpha and his bond to Adrianna.
I am really enjoying the new series and seeing the next generation of true mates take on their new roles and old enemies. Adrianna is strong but doesn't give herself enough credit. Darius is a great mate for her as he really believes in her and will do anything for her.
The story has a lot of surprises and I can't wait to read about her twin and see exactly what is going on in his life. You get some interesting hints.

I received an ARC and I have voluntarily chosen to write a review. With the True Mate books there is a formula - they meet their true mate and they get pregnant and are indestructible when threatened but does this make them any less exciting. No! I loved it . This is adriannas story- Grant and Frankies daughter and the soon to be new alpha of New Jersey. Darius saved her at the ball. His uncle is in charge of ‘The Family’ a mob like group who live in New Jersey. As a favour he becomes her bodyguard much to her disgust but it’s not all what you think. How Darius fought his attraction was brilliant ? There is a huge twist in this story which I was not expecting. The author keeps us guessing and the back story keeps growing in intensity. I wonder who will be next

Love this book but it was no surprise. The True mates world just keeps getting better. I love the second generation it's so much fun to see previous characters 20 odd years into the future.
Can i just say how amazing that cover is, the silver hair is 😍 and I love all the red.
Adrianna is what I imagine pure class to look like. She's a powerful business woman and soon to be alpha. She doubts herself and that makes her all the more relatable.
Darius is a lost wolf and he finds himself in Adrianna. He becomes who he is meant to be and not the person he was twisted to become. He helps Adrianna believe in herself and they truly make each other better.

Silver softie
Another smokin hot paranormal read by Alicia Montgomery! This is the second book in the true mates spin off series and it's already proving to be a tumultuous ride for those involved. Adrianna and Darius are a gorgeous couple with passion to spare, my only problem with the book was keeping track of who's related to who! Because i have read the first series i know all of the characters, but i found myself getting a little frustrated at the time it took to work out the connections. Please, please Alicia, include a family tree inside the next book for reference!
Overall this didn't detract from the story, but would be a nice addition. Overall another great book that you can just get lost in! I volunteered to read an advanced review copy of this book and I was not obligated to leave this review.

Its a good story with an interesting story for the male and his female alpha which is a different dynamic although she does still seem to like the be dominated in bed sometimes too. The thing I wonder is the mages situation... This story's mage has a history that seems to predate the end of the last mage war... And it seems the mage threat is likely to be an ongoing threat.... But if I explain more it won't be worth reading... The male in this story is an orphan raised by his grandfather and uncle who is the leader of the Family which is a sorta crime family. There are a few peekaboos into possible future stories in this one. The next story is obviously going to be her twin brother the Alpha of New York.

I just love the idea of True Mates- that one person in a billion you are meant for, your destiny linked together for a strong and deep love. Adrianna is future Alpha, and she is a fierce leader, girl power all the way, even if she has self doubts. She's also humble, and completely different than what Darius would have expected. Poor Darius, he's had a not so easy life. These two set the pages on FIRE, with some super hot, can't keep my hands to myself moments.
I mean it's not just all about the sexy times, there are the usual bad guys and unexpected twists, but of course a happy ending and some fun action scenes. I think I like the wolfy moments the best.

The feeling when you find an author that writes the books you wish to live in...
I was really excited about this book because I love bad boys turned good guys. This book didn't disappoint at all. It was everything I knew it would be. The story was gripping, sweet, filled with angst and I was impatient to see what happens.
What happened in the end, surprised me. They rescued one another and it was everything. I love the idea of it being private for them.
I think this would certainly remain as one of my favorites.
But I probably say that for all the books!

He’s kept his attraction for her hidden, but the moment Darius saved Adrianna from a mage attack his fate was sealed. At the time all she could remember was his eyes, his scent and his tattoos. Their lives are conflicted. He is part of an organisation operating out of the territory that she is about to become Alpha in. For there to be an alliance between them Darius must become her bodyguard. Being with each other constantly there is only so long their passion for each other can be denied. But when push comes to shove will he prove to be her saviour or her downfall? Its intense, its passionate, its a good story filed with danger, betrayal, love and loyalty.

LOVED IT!! I love all of Alicia's books, she is just a FANTASTIC author. In this book we are trying very hard for Adrianna to take her rightful spot as the New Jersey Alpha. She is the oldest daughter of Frankie and Grant Anderson. It is difficult for this to happen because the Mages keep popping up. We are also introduced to "The Family" (I'll let you read about that) and Darius whom I love. I can't wait for the next one. I'm always excited to read where and who these characters end up with. I'm really curious as to who is going to rope Isabelle. She is going to be a fun one I hope. Read the books and you will understand what I'm referring to. 😉

The "True Mates" series is one of my all-time favorites. Two books into the "Next Generation" series, it looks like that is going to hold true. This book gives us Adrianna and Darius. Both are facing family expectations. Adrianna is expected to take over as the Alpha/Lupa of the New Jersey pack. Darius is expected to spy on Adrianna for his "Family". Can Adrianna trust Darius? Can he keep her safe? Since I refuse to give any spoilers, all I will say is this story is definitely worth one-clicking. It will also leave you wanting the next book...now!

If I could give it more stars I would. I’ve loved the original series and love the new generation. Adrianna is an amazing character. She knows how to run a successful business but is worried to become alpha of New Jersey. And then there is The Family. A family from Romania that has taken over NJ and is very much like the mob. When she is forced to take one of theirs as her bodyguard the two worlds will collide. This story has so much going on for it. I love reading about previous characters and their now grown children. Add in some mages trying to kill and take over and you have lots of action. And there is plenty of heat and romance. I can’t wait to read who’s story will be next.

Adrianna was not looking forwards to being Alpha because one she had to more back to New Jersey and two she didn't think she was good enough to do the job. With the Mages attacking and the Family doing more Crimes things were really complicated and then there is her new Bodyguard that is too hot setting her body on fire. Darius was part of the Family and is third in command, his uncle is the head. After rescuing a woman when the Mages attacked he is assigned to protect her but he is so drawn to her and he doesn't know why. Love this series. As it follows the wolves of New York and New Jersey.
Adrianna Anderson is not really ready to accept the title of Alpha for New Jersey. But with the troubles with the mob and the mages, her time has come.
Darius Corvinus is a top notch enforcer for The Family...The mob that is taking over in New Jersey.
The Family is given an ultimatum. Stop the illegal activities..Or else.
Darius finds himself as the new body guard for Adrianna..But is he working for her, or the Family?
Watch the sparks fly between these two...

I so love watching the new generation of true mates forming...
And i have to say that Alicia Montgomery doesn't disappoint her readers at all!
This is the story of Andrianna and Darius.
Fast paced with lots of action and a nice story built this story really hooked me up and had me reading it in one afternoon.
The only thing that is getting a bit hard with this world is keeping up with all the names and people in it.
Its surely something a new reader can't keep up unless he has read the True Mates series and the Lone Wolves Series.
Other than that it's a great read and a great addition to the series!

Adrianna as alpha????
Tbh i did not finish. Finally gave up at the 50% mark. This is the only book i have read by this author so i admit maybe there is some reason i do not understand why she would possibly be an alpha. It seems to be just genetics because her mother was the alpha? Because her personality was certainly not alpha-like and her wolf didnt seem alpha like. Honestly it was suuuuuuch a stretch. I did like the male lead. The plotline seemed pretty thin and i only read as far as i did b cause i really did like the male lead. None of the other characters were likeable or interesting.

Change is coming to the New Jersey Lycans pack. This next generation is dealing with the return of their long time enemy, the Mage as their parents had faced. Adrianne has finally accepted her role as Alpha now that her mother, Frankie is stepping down. A few of the Mage's show up trying to stop her. Darius soon realizes that his life is about to change when he attends the ascension ceremony and catches one glimpse of Adrianne. This book is full of love, passion and action.

The new generation of True Mates are stacking up to be just as great as the first generation! Adrianna and Darius are the second set of mates. Adrianna is Frankie’s oldest daughter and therefore will be the next Alpha. At the ascension ceremony, Darius sees her for the first time. He manages to save her from danger (enter mages, remember them!). Darius’ uncle has plans to kill Frankie and Adrianna. Read to see how Darius manages to keep them both safe and in the process find his True Mate.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Darius is torn between loyalty to The Family and a growing something with the going-to-be-alpha-soon of New Jersey... Adrianna is torn apart by doubts of becoming a good Alpha, because her mother left very big shoes. And there's the mages, obsessed with destroying especially the New York and New Jersey Clan. Oh, Adrianna and Darius hit it off from the beginning. They just don't know it yet. Those next True Mates generation is just very interesting. I loved reading through this story big time.
