Book 3 of the ONE WEEK Series — standalone read

One week... can change your life.

Kayla Wilson has her life together. For the most part. She has work she loves, great friends, and a friends-with-benefits arrangement which suits her just fine — she’s not interested in anything more. Although Oscar is sexy, fun and sweet, he’s way too immature to be taken seriously. The amazin

Book#3 in Roya's fabulous, One Week Series, each can read as a standalone but I'd highly recommend reading them all because they are just so, so good.
One Week in Paris is especially beautiful... beautifully written and thought out. With such beautiful chemistry, characters... within the back drop of one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world. What more could you ask for? The feels kept me enthralled and intrigued as to what would happen next. I REALLY did LOVE IT.

4.5 Sock loving Stars

This is book three in the One Week series and can be read as a standalone. I have read the second book and did not read book one but I must say I loved this book hard. I liked it better than book two. I think it was the people. Maybe it was Oscar. Yes, yes it was. I loved the writing and how the story unfolds. The pace is great. I loved the detail the author brought to us. I have never been to Paris but I could get the visual of it from this book.

When I read this book I go

Sweet love

Another must read from Roya Carmen. Will love conquer all. Follow the antics that come up along the way while trying to stop a wedding that will only bring heartache. Will true love win in the end for everyone? Such a fun read in a glorious setting.

Kayla’s story just about killed me. I loved it...of course...but my heart was all twisted up with Oscar and Matt and her relationship with her mom. Such an emotionally touching story about broken people and being brave enough to move forward. I won’t even tell you how many times I said “nooooo!!!” out loud. I wanted to tug Kayla aside and say “make good choices!” But our heroines never listen to us. Despite my angst, this book is an entertaining page turner with characters you can’t help but fal ...more

I have an obsession with Paris so when I saw this book I knew I had to read it!

Having read Rita’s books before I knew I was in for a treat. I love her spin on romance and this one was no exception. The twist in the story was great and kept me wanting more.

The thing that made me want to read this book was the blurb. It spiked my curiosity and the need to know what would happen overcome my ability to sleep.
The fact that this new book was written by a new author was a huge bonus but it can be tricky as well. Tricky because I didn't knew if I was going to like her writing but let me just say that my fears were unfounded.
Roya Carmen is a new author to me and I adored her writing. It sweet, special addictive and intense at the same time.

One Week in Paris was an interesting tale with some interesting characters and pretty crazy schemes. Kayla Wilson learns that her mother is getting married to the father of her old friend turned tormentor from high school. After the initial meet to first round of apologies, Kayla starts to let her guard back down around Matt and even looking forward to the wedding vacation to Paris. But after learning that Matt's father is a total womanizer and will cheat on Kayla's mom, the two hatch a plan to ...more

This is the third book in this awesome series, and each of these novel’s can be read as standalone. This is massage therapist and bartender Oscar’s story. These two are both broken souls but the chemistry between this is intense, and they have had a friends’ with benefits relationship for year. Kayla is too scared to commit to a relationship, and Oscar is happy to accept her any way he can. This is a beautifully written story which is heartbreaking, steamy, and heart-warming, all which had me in ...more

This story can be read as a standalone, but the entire series is amazing so I highly recommend starting at book one.

Kayla’s story may be my favorite one of the three so far. Kayla and Oscar have been friends with benefits for years. Kayla is afraid being in a committed relationship after her father walked out on her and her mom. She doesn’t want to experience any of the pain and hurt. Oscar will take whatever he can get from Kayla. These two have formed a bond with each other, they have shared

HOLY HELL there's so much going on in this story, and yet, I'm not giving much away at all, because I believe going in blind is best. Basically, Kayla is a massage therapist, who has a friends with benefits thing with bartender Oscar. He wants more, but will take anything he get from her. They travel to Paris for her mother's wedding, and OMG, the insane craziness gets going. Like, I'm talking about me screaming so many colorful metaphors at Kayla, it isn't even funny. There's an overload of ang ...more

Wow a lot can go down in a week! This book had sweet and sexy moments. I thought kayla was flaky at first but she grew on me. Her and Oscar have intense chemistry! These two just have sex anywhere and everywhere. I'm glad she gave him a chance and realized he's a great guy. I don't want to ruin all the fun this group has breaking up a wedding, so read the book. Also Matt may br charming but he is a Grade A Jerk..hasn't changed much since high school. I'm glad she realized that before losing the ...more
