1star read.
My thoughts:
I feel like there's a competition amongst the so called Indian contemporary romance novels in the past few years to outdo themselves to portray women as something really easy and trying too hard to impress their so called boyfriends or partners.
It gives off the vibes that the authors cannot differentiate between romantic relationship and one night encounters.
Because romance is shown as something equal to one night encounter kind of vibe and well....then there's nothing else.
Either it will come out too mushy and clichè OR in some cases like this as a rip off from some erotica novel.
And I hate reading the books from this author because of this.

I see this trend in all of his books.

The book started well with some kind of heavily built suspense and a death.
But ....my sense of normality to enjoy a good read was nipped off the bud when a seemingly poetic girl sends a lingerie link to the guy.

And whack!
The book is doomed.
I mean what's the point of this?!
I wanted to read something readable. And not some erotica out of nowhere!

Dear author, we readers actually do not need sex scenes or anything seductive when it comes to reading.
Ok, masala and sex sell. But it's high time you realise when it's not actually WANTED OR NEEDED OR REQUIRED.

And please write something new rather than rewriting the same kind of books again and again.

It's all the same.
Some jealous unknown stalker from the past haunting the main character when his or her life is going good. And some cheating and murder or death here and there.
Like there's no end to it.

Too many graphic scenes.
Marital rape and a child actually witnessing it.
The friendship between the characters seem superficial.
Every relationship in this one seem superficial.
There's no chemistry at all. Bullying and abuse and physical violence - for nothing.
No one fights back. No one talks much about it. But yes, they had to be there of course.

I lost it when the girl actually said, 'I think you cal

Why do i feel pity for Raisa?
Why did i feel that the chemistry between the leads was off?
And what the hell is that ending?
Seriously? Why on earth should the side characters suffer to keep the leads happy?
Mistakes by lead is forgiven but mistakes by side characters are to be introspected and are to be suffered in silence?
The 2 stars are for Raisa. The one who couldn't understand/explain her feelings and had to suffer because none of her dumb friends understood her.

Well, the author gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars for writing so well that i hate the story😌.

Novoneel is my favorite author so I had to read his book. I got this signed copy and I really loved how the story turned out. This is the story of three innocent hearts, their love and heartbreaks.
Raisha, Afsana and Nirmaan are the main protagonists of the book. The book is about a girl who devoted all her life to her love, the boy who waited, and the girl who never stopped loving. The plot was very heart warming and interesting.
The narration is good and captivating. The plot is narrated so beautifully by the author that I couldn't keep the book away. I loved how the story turned out. The last twist was mind blowing as I didn't see it coming. The book is a page Turner and definitely worth reading.

This is the first book of Novoneel which is not erotic and horny. This book is of pure romance and a thrilling love story. May be baseline of story is common. There is a girl Afsana Agarwal and a boy Nirmaan Bose in love and girl and boy seperate for some reasons and then the boy meets the girl again when the girl is engaged to other boy shanay bansal and then how the girl and boy meet again. But this story has many extra fittings where in another girl Raisa who is a best friend of both girl and boy. Afsana and nirmaan meet again due to the intervention of Raisa which is not known by both. There is always something that always not happened coincidently in Novoneel's book. There should always be a reason for what's happening. The last chapter is most revealing. Near the ending of the book there are some usual stuffs that happen commonly. Like i got to knw the girl who sends voice notes is not who she is by the time i got the synopsis of the book. Would say loved to read the Indian version of love story after a long time. Overall i would say it's very good Goodread...🙂😊

Raisa Barua is one of such character which is going to stay in your heart forever. I adore her a lot. Novoneel Chakraborty wont write a usual love story like other authors. He will always keeps the thrill and suspense in it. And Love you Raisa. You made me cry at the end.

💫Synopsis: Life is good for Shanay Bansal - he is about to get married in a few months & has been nominated for prestigious award by Business Right Now. Until he recieves a mysterious voice note from an unknown number one night. It's a woman's voice telling him he is the part of the story he is not aware of. But a story whose ending only he can decide.

Will Shanay be able to unfold the story, in which he would unwittingly play an important character?

💫 My Review: This book is wonderfully written by an author 'Novoneel Chakraborty'.

🖤I loved the title of the book i.e. 'Half Torn Hearts' which actually made me pick this book.

💫It's a beautiful story focusing on the life of four people's Shanay, Raisa, Nirmaan & Afsana.
Story is all about Friendship, Love & Hope.

💫You can easily relate a bit of story to your real life as well, which makes it more interesting.
Even it takes you at roller coaster ride of emotions.

💫At every next moment there is a great suspense which makes you more curious to read further & keeps you engage in the story.
The end is really good & unexpectable.

💫I love the way author tried to explains his emotions & feelings through writing poems & quotes between the story.

🖤One of my favourite verse is:
✨Zamane se chupke,
Ek band kamre mein,
Parde kheech ke,
Bistar pe beeche chadar ko kuchalke, Ishq nahi hota.✨

✨Ishq khule mein hota hai.
Logo ko larkarke hota hai.
Mann ke talon ko todkad hota hai.
Takht-o-taj hilake hota hai.
Kisi purani soch ki tanashahi ko girake hota hai.
Tez hawa ka rukh modhke hota hai.
Oonche-oonche lehron se sambhalke hota hai.
Sadak ke beech chilla ke hota hai.
Ishq sirf khule mein hota hai.✨

P.S: A Good Book To Read!

I would like to put this book under the category of the novels with that oddly satisfying end. Though I haven't read all of his authors, From what I have read, I have had this assumption that this man is the only one who can think beyond something while the other authors of his age are limited to love, friendship and so and so. After reading this novel, I have a slight alteration in my thoughts. This doesn't compete with any of his best works for the thriller and suspense; though, there are some twists and turns, I have really came across two which surprised me, this isn't anything like his book. A tale of love and friendship, yeah, i don't blame it. The story is good, plot is cool, but with what i have read by this author, this is less satisfying.

Anyone, who doesn't have the assumption like me, who doesn't believe that this book will give you nightmares, make you think and dwell in the suspense and thriller, who wants a soothing yet a little disturbing tale of love and friendship, can go with this.

Truly a gut-wrenching story which defines love in the most extraordinary form! This book can't be described in words, it's far beyond than that. The poems in this book are just love.

Where do I start to speak about this beautiful story that still manages to strum the strings of my heart whenever I think about it?
This book stands out from the usual writing style of the author because while his other books are packed with heartbeat amplifying thrills, this one is more on the subtle side; a side that connects to your heart and makes your eyes cry at many spots that turns into a whirlwind of emotions towards the end.
What an end!
The narration, the thrills, the love, the hate, the pain, the insane like love of Raisa for Nirmaan, Afsana’s antics that later shapes up into a matured form of love; this book has everything you would want in a good romantic-thriller; a story that would rip your heart in a half as its name dutifully says; go grab this book if you want to feel love and the pain that comes along with it.
It’s worth a read!

If I had to give a tagline to this book it would be 'A book which showcases a friendship, love, emotion, suffering and sacrifice'. This story is about Raisa, Nirmaan and Afsana. Raisa and Nirmaan first met when they were eight. They became friends, learned bicycle together, cover up each others mistake, stand for each other and does all the cute stuffs. One day Raisa got the news that Nirmaan's father has been given a promotion and as a result they'll have to move to Kolkata. This moistened Raisa's eye, not that they have fallen for each other. Raisa doesn't have a good relationship with her father and has seen a lot in a small age. Nirmaan was the only one with whom she could share all her feelings. But neither of them knew that their strings were already attached for long term.

After six long years they met again. Raisa took admission in the same school where Nirmaan was. Both were united once again. There came Afsana, a new entry who later turned to a 'soul-sister' to Raisa. A girl who also studies in the same school and the only friend of Raisa in the school except Nirmaan. Nirmaan didn't like Afsana much in the starting, things changed they started hanging out. Afsana belonged to an orthodox family, they wanted Afsana to get hitched as soon as she turns eighteen. And for the due process they started the prep. Afsana wanted to focus on her present until when she was forced to meet a boy, there she realised that she is infatuated towards Nirmaan and started questioning herself. Raisa on the other hand has failed in class ten and was left alone.

As their plus two exams got over Nirmaan got busy in the preparation for his entrance exam. In the meantime Afsana and Nirmaan both confessed their love for each other unknown to the fact that Raisa loves him. Raisa ploys to make believe to Nirmaan and Afsana that she is indulged in casual relationships and enjoying that. So that she won't be a spoilsport between them. Afsana's parents planned a trip to Europe and tricked Afsana. Still her love towards Nirmaan made her call to her soul-sister, Raisa. She dropped a message to Raisa, for Nirmaan that she would return in a year. She wanted him to wait for her.

This gave Raisa an opportunity to come close to Nirmaan. One can't even think what a broken heart/obsessed people could do. Raisa uses a tactic to abduct Nirmaan so that he can't give entrance. She knew very well what that entrance meant to him and his family. And this led a huge disaster. Nirmaan's parents kinda disowned him. Not only this she hurts her self respect too. She made believe to her parents that she has illegally aborted a child. She knew very well that once her father will get to know this he will ostricize her. And here I realize why the writer has asked this question "Have you destroyed yourself for someone?"

Unknown to all the facts Nirmaan thought his and Raisa's life are equally messed they decided to start a new journey and eloped from Kolkata. Raisa dedicated her life to Nirmaan thinking that one day he too will fall for her. But this doesn't happen, Nirmaan was still stuck with Afsana. He was still waiting for Afsana to return. Raisa when came to know about this, she realizes what she has done to herself and her love. By this time she knew that nobody could replace Afsana's place.

Raisa loved both Nirmaan and Afsana, there was a time when she use to believe that 'the creator had sliced her soul into three section' and now she just wanted to settle all the chaos she created. To know will Afsana return, what step Raisa would take and how things will come to track one have to read this book. Ahhh man this was something which made me dumbstruck. I guess this is the only book of Novoneel which wasn't over erotic. It has a juicy plot which will grip the reader. The book is divided into five parts and written in a very simple language. And the cover, for the first time I'm satisfied with it not that great but it was good enough compared to his other books. Also after reading the epilogue I don't know whether I should hate Raisa or feel pity for her. Do share your views if have read this.

ANALYSIS
This review includes SPOILERS

My heart is aching and my eyes are pooled with tears and its 3 am. Who taught this book would hurt me more than just the title?😭

This book reminded me so much of the song Raanjhana where Priyank Sharma and Hina Khan act as lovers and you know wht happens later...

When i started reading this book I thought that Nirmaan and Raisa would be In a relationship but damn I didnt expect Afsana to be his girlfriend but nevertheless their chemistry was good. Really good.
The childhood part which was I guess Voice Note 1 to 32 reminded me of my school days where I used to hang out with my small little group of friends.
But when I started to read Voice Note 33, I swear it had me hanging with suspence.

Until I finished it, accomplishing Catharsis.

According to me, I felt this book is little triggering as it includes rape a lot of toxicity.

*TOXICITY*
Nirmaan's father having a lot of expectations from him to get into IIT and score high in overall subjects.
Raisa's father beats her because she had unprotected sex with Mihir, got preggo, illegally aborted the child and didn't meet the doctors deadline henceforth the doctor contacted the parents.
Afsana's parents force her to marry Tarun and Shanay but Nirmaan comes to rescue her.

*Synopsis*
Nirmaan and Raisa are very close friends or you could say neighbors, they go to the same school too. One day, a new student named Afsana gets admission in their high school. Nirmaan falls in love with his girl best friend Raisa's friend Afsana. He does whatever he has in him to keep her happy despite the trauma she's going through (r@pe)
With his relationship with Afsana, he is unable to keep a well mainatained connection with Raisa.
(13 years later) After Afsana suddenly dissappears, he clings onto Raisa and they both run away to Bubaneshwar.
Someone they manage their expenses and their small busy of serving meals and one day Raisa deliberately dissappears.
With all due panic and in search of her, a character named Lavisha develops. Nirmaan shockingly finds Afsana but soon realizes she's getting married. Things turn to heaten between Afsana and Shanay's relationship as he doesn't trust her and finds faults in Nirmaan. She soon ignores it all but then later stands up for Nirmaan and tells that she has a relationship with him. Within all that, she comes to know that Raisa dies to a rare disease and when shes confronted Nirmaan, he couldn't take it. After making love to Nirmaan, She creates an unknown contact number and sends a verse to the family group and sooner or later their marriage gets cancelled. Nirmaan and Afsana rebuild their relationship and get married despite her father being against it.
In the epilogue, we see that Raisa acted a d pretended to be Lavisha so that Nirmaan could stay away from her. For some reason, I felt it was quite creepy while reading it because it's more of a suicide letter.
The epilogue ends when Raisa quotes,

~ "Krishna may have married Rukmini, but he would always be idolized with Radha, isn’t it? I think I can live with that". ~

Novoneel Chakraborty's half torn hearts tells beautiful story of three friends. Shanay Bansal is to be happily married in a few months. He has everything and is looking forward for his big day. Life is good for him. But, he recieves a voice note from a stranger, and as curiosity takes over, he is lured into the story of Raisa, Nirmaan and Afsana, which the stranger narrates.
Raisa and Nirmaan are childhood friends. Nirmaan is little Raisa's world. But under circumstances, they separate and fortunately meet after years and reform their friendship. In the meantime, Raisa befriends Afsana, who helps her get revenge from her bullies. They become soul sisters in a short period. Hailing from troubled families, Raisa Nirmaan and Afsana's lives changes without them realising it. Will their friendship survive the changes? Will the come out stronger?

Raisa and Nirmaan's friendship is honestly goals. The way she sacrifices everything for him and the way he understands her like no one is beautiful. They made me crave for a friendship like theirs. Too bad I don't have childhood friend..! Raisa and Afsana's friendship is well written and relatable. The dynamic of the trio is interesting. True to the tagline, it was interesting and intriguing to read about protagonists who destroy themselves for others. It's rare to read about characters who are dangerously passionate.

There was a magic in the writing but the thrill factor which forms the core of the author's books was missing. It was more a laid back read - a change from the author's usual style. The pace falls in middle but picks up quickly. There were plot holes, but they don't bother much. The end was a little stretched and there were some parts where the tone was emotional and I was close to tears, but suddenly it dissolved as the characters proceeded to make out. It was little annoying. The poems were good and meaningful. The end left me shaken up.
It's one of the few books that leave you oddly satisfied. Overall a good read.

💞Shanay Bansal is all set to marry the designer Afsana Agarwal.. Few days to their special day, he receives a voice note that says📱- "You can change the end" Now a voice note means information only.. How would that affect the end? What end does that mean and why is related to Shanay?⛔🔚

💔Assam-Kolkata-Bangalore-Bhubaneshwar- Europe
Who loses in the battle of heart race? Is there any battle?

🥭🥭🥭The mango tree of Assam and it's significance in the lives of Nirman and Raisa takes in a nostalgia ride of childhood. One that captures the innocence without the invent of mobile phones. One that paints of a beautiful evening grown of sunset, landline, neighbours and the cycle.

📴The friendship that wasn't made on chats and emojis.. It was a connection felt at heart bounded by words entangled in souls.. The innocence of bike ride, wearing the traditional saree in Durga Puja to please your in laws.. The small little things..

💕🖤An unrequited love story for Nirmaan, Raisa and Afsana.. But then do we need to bind love in a marriage to call it requited.. Raisa new how much Nirman and Afsana love each other, then why did she agree in a selfless love sphere.. What did she picture the love she felt for Nirman.. Was it the kitchen where she cooked and build the dreams of an entrepreneur? Her idea to give away everything just to see Nirman climb the ladder of success.

🗝Afsana the key who baits her eyelashes to fight for her own.. A young girl who isn't caged by society, because she dreams, she aspire and knows the war she needs to participate in.. She knows - how to conquer the demons whether destructing an old image to build 🏠 a home of ❤️.. Is it worthy???

A story that gonna be rooted in your heart for days to come..

✂Cons
1. The protagonist character was too light headed..
2. Secondary character became the prime focus, mismatch in highlighting the position of characters.

Raisa and Nirmaan are childhood friends. Raisa is the one who taught Nirmaan bicycle and when everyone doesn't even want to talk Raisa, Nirmaan became her first friend. But as the years passed their equation also changed. Afsana who is a rich and complete rebel became friends with Raisa. Raisa is happy and content with her two friends but then one incident changed everything. In one day their whole world collided and crashed and after that it changed their lives forever. What happened? And who is at fault? Who is the victim and who is the cause of all this?

Review-

Novoneel Chakraborty is generally famous for writing thriller romances. But this book is very different from his usual writing. There is no suspense or thriller as such and thank god no one gets murdered also.

Friendship and love are the main theme around which book revolves. Though I would say there is more of friendship rather than romance. Author has perfectly captured the emotion and it makes you emotionally invest in this book.

I associate the most with Raisa. I understood her emotions, her decisions and her sacrifices. The most complex character would be Afsana she has many layers to her personality. Nirmaan is like a puppet in all the situations I felt he had no control over the situations and he just went along with whatever was happening.

Being a Novoneel book it has many twists & turns to it. The book is never flat or dull. It keeps you hooked till the end. Still I felt this is not the best of his works. I prefer his murder, steamy romance thriller books.

"Half Torn Hearts" is a suspense fiction written by Novoneel Chakraborty. The story deals with a love story which is simple but still holds a lot explanations and events, so much that you will keep guessing until the very end and hold on to your own heart to not get torn apart.
.
The story goes around 3 friends Raisa, Nirmaan, and Afsaana. Raisa and Nirmaan are childhood friends whereas Raisa and Afsaana find each other when they get in the same class in 9th std. Now Nirmaan never liked Afsaana and felt that she was ruining Raisa. But the situations become so that Afsaana and Nirmaan end up falling for each other. But in between their sweet love story there are a lot of ups and downs that their destinies separate and they end up staying at the far ends of the world. The events become so hectic that the best friends Raisa and Nirmaan elope to live out of this mess.
.
Now what is really gonna happen? Will Nirmaan and Afsaana's destiny will ever converge? Will there be any new bond being formed among Raisa and Nirmaan?
You must read this beauty to know that.
.
For me I must say it was a great read and I am going to be a die-hard fan for Novoneel's writing. I kept on guessing till the end and last part took my heart. The suspense and twists kept me at the edge until I completed it and then I held it close admiring every instance that took place. What a well woven story. It is a must read!

Story of 1 he and two she's, and their love since childhood till they grow.

I feel novoneel has got this idea from two movies: 1) wicker park 2) love Rosie.
But i guess just an idea, because concept it way different and 0% of plagiarism.

Novoneel has gone into depth of characters like always and one of those rare stories where you can not judge right and wrong, because it's real , its intense.

Book shows you what love can make you do and how love can affect your life to its core and also how it feels like getting back after longing for long time

One she's extremeness devotion for her love without expecting or asking anything.
One she's soul connection with her love and continuing of growing that love despite of distance and sepration, trying to get settle but that connection holding her from inside, rulling over her heart
And one he's deep love for the only one, having non-judgmental love for her and super self control to not slip with anyone else.

Though such kind of waiting and level of devotion and such self control can be not accepted/seen in real life love.
Such kind of connection and depth of love can be.
And this books takes you to a situations and mental state of charactors which will expand your understanding of love and relationship.

All over....its worth having your time.

This book tells the story of Raisa, Shanay, Nirmaan, Afsana. One day Shanay gets the voice-note from an unknown number. He keeps getting voice-notes telling the stories of Raisa, Nirmaan, and Afsana. Raisa and Nirmaan are the friends since their childhood then Afsana comes into the picture. Soon Raisa and Afsana become the best friends. They think they are the soul-sisters. Meantime Nirmaan and Afsana fall for each other. But soon things go upside down when Afsana suddenly goes to Europe tour and Raisa tells Nirmaan that she will not come to India she has gone forever. Does Afsana really love Nirmaan or there is something else Raisa is hiding? On Afsana's part, she is aching for Nirmaan. But then a question arises why she is not coming back to India? Is someone stopping her? Is there someone in Afsana's life?
To get to know the answers to these questions you have to read this book. This is the 7th book of Novoneel I have read. I liked the book. The story is good. You will definitely engrossed in it. I really liked Nirmaan's and Afsana's love story. So go ahead and read this book.

Hoo boy.
I travelled with the narrator on their journey from past, to present, and into the future. The narrator did a pretty good job in having my attention by talking about Raisa’s and Nirmaan’s childhood that rolled into adolescence which is when Afsana enters the scene and then how they skim through to adulthood.

The simplicity of school life and friends, playing games with them, reminded me of my childhood so that was fun. I remembered my own cycling experience when Nirmaan’s experience was described, the thrill of it all. Wonderful. There are instances like these in the book, small simple subtle scenes that jog you down the memory lane of good times as children.

The characters, young ones; their innocence and open heartedness was showcased quite well. As adolescents; ah, the bliss of young love, and as adults; everything somersaulted to serious and intense. The ambience didn’t sit well with me as the story progressed. A sense of gloom persisted right from the start, and it just darkened further as an undercurrent that long after I finished the book, what stayed with me wasn’t the tragedy but the gloominess. For that reason alone, my rating is what it is.

This is second book I've picked after "black Suits You" after getting so many recommendation for "half Torn Heart". Initially I found it little bit boring but as I indulged into it I found it interesting. The book is divided into 5 parts, the first 4 comprises the voice notes and the last part includes 14 chapters. The story revolve around "Raisa", "Afshana" and "Nirmaan".

It's all started when Shanay (fiancee of Afshana) started to receive some voice notes from an anonyms lady.
Dear readers,
You will really fall in love with the character of Raisa Barua. Raisa Barua is one of such character which is going to stay in your heart forever. I adore her a lot. The way she devoted her life to Nirmaan only a true friend can do that. She loved Nirmaan but never confessed her feelings towards him.She did some mistakes (according to her) which is not at all mistakes for me. She tries to gain the love of her life but she fails. But during that journey she learned a lot about trust, love, friendship. Raisa
Ending was a bit emotional for me.
Overall I liked the novel... :)

True Love Well-Defined.

The book is divided into five parts. The author has woven the love story at different stages in character’s life which is beautifully portrayed taking into account on the darkness in relationship and the societal issues. Twisted love story with a difference.

Interesting and Engaging. I couldn’t keep the book down and finished in one sitting.

Not every relationship is about flowing together forever. People who meant the world to us at one time, will seem like a distant memory at another.

Wonderfully narrated what true love is by striking the chord with right amount of emotions and exploring in-depth the relationship between the loved ones.

Chapters contains voice-notes as stories and meaningful poems in Hindi. Powerful questions which are true in practicality wonders you.

A heart crushing story with surprising revelations and a touching climax.

Although this book is totally different from Novoneel Chakraborty’s other books this book has the power to win many hearts. The book deals with the lives of Nirmaan Bose, Afsana Agarwal, and Raisa Barua. The characters are so beautifully portrayed by the author that we can picture them in real life. After reading this book one will get complete knowledge about how true love is like- it is a mixture of friendship, appreciation, sadness, dejection and of course self- destruction. The narration style is simple yet an effective one. This book has twist and turns, ups and downs, suspense and what not. The book title does go with the book but you cannot guess the climax easily. The last line of the epilogue portion will make you cry, devastated but after some time, you will realize that's what life is actually.
Also at the end don’t forget to question yourself, “ Have you destroyed yourself for someone?”.

Love has many forms and can make anyone destroy himself to live with the love of his life. A person living with a half torn heart lives a tormented life with his always bleeding heart until he is embraced by death.
Half torn hearts is a story of selfless love which knows no bounds. It is an emotional journey which starts with Rasia Barua and Nirmaan Bose who met in RBI quarters and since then they develop an attachment which becomes something far more than friendship. Later they meet Afsana Agarwal who comes as a breath of fresh air in their lives and becomes soul-sister of Raisa Barua. Everything was going well for them until fate takes an unpleasant twist which separates them and now the end of their story depends on someone else’s decision.
Novoneel Chakraborty has created a masterpiece and those verses added beauty to this masterpiece. As a reader of Novoneel Chakraborty, I did expect a twist in the end and yes my expectation was fulfilled.

This is so gut - wrenching story of three people whose life is connected with each other. I never ever read this type of story. Half torn hearts is full of thriller and suspense. Suspense remained till the end of the book.

• The ending is so unexpected and unpredictable. Yeah! I'm really big fan of Novoneel chakarborty beacause of his amazing writings.

• Each and every character is beautiful portrayed by the Novoneel sir. The language is simple and understandable.

• The narration is so fascinating whether it was argument scene or simple conversation. There are some incidents which will take you back in your childhood memories. And you feel very connected with the book.

• There is also some Hindi poetry in the book and these poetries are so beautiful.

• Totally, I loved this book. And I am very happy after reading this book . Honestly, you should read this book and believe me you won't regret after reading this book.

Heart Wrenching 💔💔

Whatever I write and term it as ' review ' it would do justice to describe the depth of the book certainly...
How easy it is to think whatever we do in life, we'd end up where we want to and we miss out on a fact that we never end up where we want to we'd end up where belong to!!!! Absolutely loved how the book was narrated. Especially the way two females protagonists feelings and pain was described, it's just exceptional. It's not possible for every male author to write about women's feelings and her perspectives. And Novoneel never let's me down describing the feelings of female leads. I admire the fact that how little details where described and everything is linked.
As titled half torn hearts, every page shows the pain of continues bleeding!!!
And the Hindi write ups in the books were hell deep💕💕
Love, love, just love this one!!!

This is the best book of the author .! Love to read this book again and again .! The narration was as real as it can be. Love defined so aptly.. The 2 female characters Raisa nd Afsana ..their love , their feelings, their pain, reflected in every page with touched me like anything.. Nirmaan Bose.. uff .. a character of whom every gal drms of.. to be loved like NB.. Truly its our heart which belongs to someone nd not physically whom we belong.... The hindi verses were just soooo beautiful.. loved them to the core... One such stanza "Zamane se chupke , Ek band kamrein mein, Parde kheech ke, Bistar pe beeche chadar ko kuchalke, Ishq nahi hota.. "
I just loved it .. So apt...
I can go on and on but I need to end . In the end its a mind blowing book... Half Torn Hearts is the apt title for the book....!

novoneelchakraborty will never fail to astonish me with his writings. This book was another one I completely devoured. He writes with such intensity, seclusion I can't ever manage to end his books without my heart pounding in my chest.

🌻It was the story of Nirmaan, Raisa, and Afsana and what love did to them. I won't tell a lot about the plot. It will show the real intricacy of love, relationship, and friendship. You'll find the kind of love, you worship. The kind of love that gives you a new life. The kind of love that no one can ever obliterate from your soul.

🌻Thrill and suspense have always been an enduring ingredient of Novo's books and you'll find it here too. Twist and turns will not let you keep the book once you pick it.

This one is quite different from Novoneel's other books but definitely a masterpiece. This story has three main characters and their selfless love and that willingness to destroy own self for the person they love. There are quite few many ups and downs in their life but the way their love has been potrayed it won my heart. Some secrets, some revelations and then that unexpected climax - everything is just so catcy that I could not put the book down till I completed reading it. So Half torn hearts will definitely win many hearts of the readers!! And the most beautiful part about this book is the Hindi poems in between the story which gave that storyline the perfect essence of emotions.!!
