Don’t tie the knot
Most weddings might be joyous occasions, but Hamish’s older brother Callum is marrying a commoner, never mind that he’s engaged to an earl’s daughter, and they’ll lose their family’s estate if he marries someone else. Hamish will just have to find a way to stop the wedding.
Georgiana Butterworth is startled when a handsome Scot breaks into her bedroom and brandishes money. Evidently he’s mistaken her for her newly engaged sister and is trying to bribe her into not marrying his brother. Georgiana knows one thing: she won’t permit this man to ruin her sister’s chance for everlasting happiness. Hamish may be determined to stop the wedding, but Georgiana is intent to make certain the wedding happens, no matter what she has to do to distract him.
A fun read Hamish & Georgiana are very likeable, they are attracted to each other even though they are at odds over Callum & Charlotte’s wedding. The story flowed well & kept my interest throughout. There were parts that ere improbable but didn’t detract from my enjoyment. I did however feel that the ending was rushed & I was left with unanswered questions about Callum & the estate.

Dukes Prefer Bluestockings
Charlotte Butterworth may be on her first London season, but she already knows she will never marry. Nothing interests her as much as numbers, and numbers seem to be of absolutely no interest to anyone else. And then there's the secret she’s hiding. Callum Montgomery, Duke of Vernon, can marry the best. He's handsome and charming and perfect. In fact, he's been betrothed to the darling of the ton since he was seven, even if he does keep on putting off the wedding.
When Callum learns Charlotte’s secret he decides to act for himself.
An easy to read book, the characters have depth & the pace is good. We met Callum & Charlotte in the previous book, however this book could well stand on its own. Callum had a horrid childhood & at the beginning of the book I thought his childhood & him avenging the misdeeds would have featured more, I couldn’t come to terms with Callum walking away from Isla without a huge scandal. I look forward to the next book as Flora is definitely hiding something.

Earl’s Christmas Consultant
Flora is happily employed as a duchess’ maid. She certainly has no plans to advertise her services as a Christmas consultant. Yet when a handsome earl discovers she is not who she says she is, Flora needs a new position quickly. Christmas has never been Lord McIntyre’s favourite season, but after his sister’s engagement is broken, the earl vows to host a magnificent ball so she can find a husband. After his secretary spots an advertisement for a Christmas consultant, he hires her. The earl is shocked when his friend’s maid appears at his manor house in Scotland
This is the third book in the series & we’ve already been introduced to Wolf & Fiona in earlier books. Fiona was happy being a maid in Norfolk but when her mistress marries & moves to London Fiona knows she’ll not be safe. The pace is good & the characters well fleshed. Wolf & Fiona are very likeable & are attracted to each other from before meeting in Scotland, but she’s a servant & he’s an earl so there can't be a future for them, but then again it is Christmas! A charming heart warming story.
I read all of these stories individually when first released & so pleased that a box set has appeared as I can now read them one after another

Don't Tie The Knot:
I loved this newest book by Bianca Blythe. This first book in this be series stems from the previous series and is delightful from page one.

When Hamish receives a wedding invitation to his brother, the dukes wedding to the wrong lass he makes it his mission to stop the wedding. After all his older twin brother is already betrothed to another.
His mission to stop this wedding leads to a tale with hysterical by play between this hero and the heroine, sister to his brothers bride.

This humorous tale is one for my keeper shelf. I found it engaging from the first chapter.

I gave this book 4.75 of 5 stars for storyline and characterization and a sensual rating of 3.5 of 5 flames. There is only one intimate scene and it is mild.
I received a complimentary digital ARC of this book from the author to read and review. This in no way affected my opinion of this title which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

Dukes Prefer Bluestockings:
We first met this couple at the end of Don’t Tie The Knot, Hamish and Georgiana’s story. Now we get to see how Charlotte and Callum met and came to wed.
It is an interesting story but by no means a sweet/clean novella so if that is what you are looking for steer clear.
Most of the books I have read by this author contain little or no intimate scenes. This one isn’t like that. The intimacy is somewhat graphic and heated.
I liked this short read of less than 200 pages.
I gave it 4.4 of 5.0 stars for storyline and character development and a sensual rating of 3 (warm) of 5 flames.
I received a complimentary digital ARC of this book to read. This in no wat affected my opinion of this title which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

The Earl's Christmas Consultant:
Flora has been masquerading as a French maid for years. Though she despises having to hide her skill at the piano and has no innate fondness for mending, she is happy to no longer be on the run.

Christmas has never been Lord Wolfe McIntyre’s favorite season. His parents never celebrated it, and he never thought he would succumb to sentimentality as an adult. After all, he runs a gaming hell.

Wolfe is shocked when his friend’s maid appears at his manor house in Scotland. When he hired a Christmas consultant, he was expecting a stern Bavarian woman with a knowledge of Yule logs, not an alluring young woman whom he last saw claiming a blatantly false identity and who seems distressed at seeing him.

Why does Flora seem so familiar and what is she hiding from.

This is a delightful holiday romance with a touch of humor. This is the shortest read of the three books in this series and is easily read in one sitting.

I gave this book 4.5 of 5.0 stars for storyline and characterization.

This short tale has just enough sensuality and humor that you should breeze through the read.

I received a complimentary ARC of this title to read. This in no way affected my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

I read and reviewed all three books separately.

A wonderful collection of three stories in the Wedding Trouble series. What could be better than that? Not a lot when the author is Bianca Blythe and the stories are set in Regency England! I read each of these individually but all together they are amazing!

Don't Tie the Knot - What to do when a gentleman lands in your bedroom thinking you were your sister? Well if it was the handsome Scot Hamish, you might be amused, or not. Georgiana Butterworth never expected a visit from Hamish, but finding out he is trying to stop the wedding of her sister Charlotte to his older brother, she is determined to thwart him. Trying to bribe her with money to not marry his brother ( he at first thinks she is her sister) is only one angle he tries. But fate steps in and they become attracted to each other. This was such an enjoyable read with a lot of humor and strong emotions. What will they do? Can they find their happy at this unexpected twist? As always, Bianca Blythe wows with a wonderful story that will have you smiling and turning the pages!

Dukes Prefer Bluestockings - Charlotte, sister of Georgiana from the first book comes into play in another delightful tale of the Butterworth sister. A true bluestocking, she knows she will never marry, but attends her first season. Callum, Duke of Vernon has endured a lot in childhood as he was belittled and pulled down by his guardian. In an unexpected event, he and Charlotte meet and he finds out a secret she is keeping close. Can she convince him not to tell anyone? These two, who each needed each other, were a great match to help in their healing process.

The Earl's Christmas Consultant - A sweet Christmas story that shows that the season can bring people together. Flora has been hiding pretending to be a french maid but has to hide her true talents. But when Lord Wolfe finds out she is not French at all, she knows she needs to find a new position. But of all things it is at Wolfe's house!
Wolfe needs help hosting a Christmas ball that could help his sister find a spouse, when he engagement is broken. He hires a consultant to help him with the details and none other than Flora appears! Totally unexpected but as they spend time together the attraction begins to grow!

Bianca Blythe is a master at creating stories that will draw you in and have you smiling at the end. Do not miss these delightful tales!!

I've read all three of these delightful stories and what follows is what I had to say about each of them at the time of reading.

1. Don't Tie the Knot
Funny and well written!
What is it that captivates one so when there is a Scottish member of the aristocracy involved in a story? Is it their caring natures or perhaps that they have hard bodies and perfect physiques or even that they are just so good looking that they are to die for? Or maybe they are rakes?
In all honesty, I really don't know what it is - perhaps it's just a wonderful mixture of all of this and most importantly a great and well written story involving one or more of them.
Whatever it really is, this story certainly held my attention and I loved every moment of it from the initial mistaken identity to the messed up proposal.
It was great and thoroughly entertaining!

2. Dukes Prefer Bluestockings
...Happily ever after!
Don't you just love happy ever afters. I do!
Its written into children's story and we lap it up from a very early age.
This one is such a sweet yet engrossing tale and has the perfect ending.
I loved the main characters, Charlotte and Callum and the way they both worked to improve their lives regardless of or even perhaps because of the hardships life had dished out to them. Her mother was a delightful character and I had a few chuckles because of her antics.
The story itself has an interesting theme which kept me glued to the pages and entertained me throughout and I am happy to recommend this second book in the series.

3. The Earl's Christmas Consultant
Fascinating Story!
This is Flora and Wolf's love story and what a beautiful one it is!
I loved the versatility of Flora. She is such a determined and resourceful young lady who feels from the heart.
The story itself is well written and reads quickly and easily and I am happy to recommend it.
I was supplied with an Advance Readers copy and my reviews above are given voluntarily and are unbiased.

Bianca Blythe demonstrates her mastery of Regency Period romance in Wedding Trouble Collection (Books 1-3). The three stories in this collection, Don't Tie the Knot, Dukes Prefer Bluestockings and The Earl's Christmas Consultant, are distinctly different yet they all have the same wonderful things in common: they’re well written, Period appropriate, have great plots and characters and, most importantly, they are simply tons of fun to read. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The collection definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that this collection is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.

I found this book discounted on Amazon. This is my honest review.
General:
-Editing needs a serious pass. Misnaming the person, laid down vs. standing up, he/she, etc. Lots of "lauded", at least twice in each chapter if not more. There must be another word somewhere in the author's dictionary.
1. Don't Tie the Knot: Great story. Somewhat unbelievable and ridiculous situations. Made me laugh.
2. Dukes Prefer Bluestockings: Great story until the drama at the end, which wasted too many pages. It didn't bring anything more to the story and made me like the h much less than before all the drama.
3. The Earl's Christmas Consultant: Mystery, suspense, romance all rolled in one. Great ending.

Hero's to the rescue.

These 3 Regency stories were entertaining and each was a stand alone but quite enjoyable as a series. The only thing I didn't like was I find it hard to believe in book 3 that our Hero's sister could just walk into his bedroom uninvited, etc...

I am fairly new to this author but the previous book I read, I really enjoyed. So I decided to try again. I was not disappointed. I love historical romance especially with a little spice. These three books not only deliver this but also suspense. I also enjoyed how the three stories interlinked. Books in a series don't always intermingle like this. Was highly enjoyable & intriguing. Definitely keep me involved and on my toes. Couldn't put it down. Played hooky from everything till I finished.
