For a book with “MMF” in the title, this one is pretty dull.
The smut you’d expect from a ménage is non-existent and there’s way too much focus on their jobs as app developers, that my head is spinning from all those technical details.
Everything is wrong with this one, starting with the story itself, the characters and all in between.

This is by far one of my favorite books from Allyson (definitely top 5). So much so I was reading this well into past midnight to get to the end (the fact I was having trouble sleeping and needed a good book to keep my company is irrelevant). The chemistry between Justin, Antonio, and Emily is absolutely fantastic. I found it well balanced and true. I could feel the attraction through the whole book instead of feeling like it was plopped in somewhere near the middle or at the end. I never once s ...more

In the heart of Silicon Valley is a company founded by two nerds, Justine and Antonio. Their thoughts on how to run the company are not on the same wave length anymore. The board sends in Emily to get them on track. She's very professional and good at what she does in the business world, but shy in social settings. The attraction between the three heats up and they warm the sheets. They keep their situation private so they won't lose their company. Hot and sassy. A good read with geeky character ...more

While this book contains many of the typical elements of an MMF menage romance, it solidified my opinion that the menage stories I most enjoy are those in which each individual relationship evolves and has an arc as much as the overall trio does. In this instance, what starts as a sexy narrative to accompany a random hookup throws all three characters together when both parties to the hookup find themselves working together soon after. There’s no insta-love here: Emily develops friendships (and ...more

This book was advertised as a MMF book but the reason I bought the book was for the MM part which only happened once at 97% of the way through the book. I can't believe all the superb reviews. I even went back and read some of them when I was about a quarter of the way through because I thought maybe I dreamt the good ratings. I only finished this book because as my husband says I'm stubborn and I don't like to give up on something I've invested time in. The first 40% of this book w

My rating falls between 2.5-2.75 stars, so I rounded up. The premise for this MMF ménage sounded terrific! App developers who fall into a romance is my jam, but this didn't entirely work for me. Justin has secretly fantasized about his best friend Antonio FOREVER, but when Antonio admits he's in love with Justin, he denies it?! And they don't finally get frisky until like 95% of the book?! Emily was also meh for me. The whole portion with her best friend’s Cynthia’s brother Paul felt contrived. ...more

Good book

Admitting you love someone is sometimes hard. When that person is the same sex it can be even harder. But when that person is your best friend and you can't imagine losing them, it becomes impossible. Or is it? Justin and Antonio face that with the help of Emily. But their journey isn't easy. Can you be in love with more than one person? I believe you can.

Have I mentioned how much I love reading high quality menage? And Allyson Lindt totally delivers! I almost read this story in one sitting. I couldn't wait to see what happened next. The characters were engaging and interesting and their chemistry was off the charts! Do yourself a favour and check it out! ...more

This is a beautiful story between 3 extremely smart people. Emily is the perfect heroine. And these two guys, Antonio the italian and Justin the American have such chemistry. They are best friends... they love one another... But Justin doesn't know what kind of love it really is.

Dive in and you will be rewarded with a page turner you won't want to put down.

Good Series

I enjoyed this pair of books, though there were aspects that seemed unlikely. The charity are interesting and have dimension. My only complaint - and it cost a star - is that there are editing errors, missing words and mistakes that knocked me out of the story. With a hard going over by a skilled editor, this would easily be a four-star novel.

Requires a lot of patience

Takes forever to get there. Then they break up and take forever to get back together. Antonio is called Andrew a few times. The love scenes are difficult to follow at times. Some of the movements seem impossible as they are described based on where and how the characters are arranged in the scene.

Great story

I liked this book for the story and characters, not just the steamy parts. It's nice to have confident, mature characters who deal with sticky situations well instead of angsty craziness.
Shh I'm reading!

I felt disconnected from the characters, and stopped reading by chapter 2. After a couple of days, I went back to it and tried to pick it back up, but just couldn't get into it, so I'm chalking it up to a no.

DNF at 59%. Coding is cool and all, but the subplot with the roommate’s brother was too unbelievable- I couldn’t suspend my disbelief enough to continue with the story.

Couldn't put it down

Another book by Allyson Lindt that I just couldn't put down. Having been apart of her newsletter serial for "Nerds and the Matchmaker" I'm thrilled to read the piece that came before it. Reading about Emily and Cynthia's agruement from Emily's POV, clarifies alot. Emily's situation and the argument fall right into the current discussion in the media and elsewhere of sexual harassment.
Now I'll have to find "The Virgin and the Kingpin" to see how that ties

*I was gifted this ARC and freely give my review of it*

I liked the book very much but there was a to much work related talk in the beginning that was a little uninteresting for me. However that changed and the story flowed with a good speed.

The characters are well described and there is a lot of feelings building between all three characters. At times I felt a little impatient but that is on my account because if I should see objectively on it the story progresses at a good speed.

The author has a unique and mind-bending ability to tell a story that is both emotionally complex and hotter than the surface of the sun. I know when I read an Allyson Lindt title I will be treated to a story with a detailed and vivid plot that will suck me into the lives of these characters, make me weep for their heartache, and cheer for their victories. The dynamics between Justin, Antonio, and Emily make it clear how very much they care for each other. Their chemistry is off the charts and I ...more

The Nerds in this world have never had it so good! Ms. Lindt has a way of telling the tale so it speaks to our inner geek! Every where I look I see people with their cell phones and tablets out reading or texting or watching a video! Hello people we are a world of Nerds! This was a very entertaining story of a girl and her two guys. Or a guy and his girl and guy. Either way it was full of love, laughter, and some angst and betrayal.

Familiar start with a guy and girl meeting up and then finding themselves working together. Emily can't believe it when she meets one of her two new bosses, only to discover she slept with him over the weekend. Not only that, but she finds herself attracted to both of them. She also has the sneaking suspicion they are attracted to not

Good read. Bit tough to follow at times bc had to read between the lines. No real insight into how this is going to work between three uncertain people who seem to walk on eggshells around each other. Wish that Cynthia and her brother had gotten a visceral comeuppance, he must be a narcissist or something, but I see she’s the heroine in the next book. No thanks! Not interested in people who make excuses for would be rapists. And wish that Grant had gotten a smack down. Oh well. The “bad guys” no ...more

The Nerds and the CEO is a fun, fast-paced menage romance. I love that the author gives us a close-up view of the tech-y stuff without getting so technical that it loses those of us that are technologically challenged (raises hand). This trio is really good together and there is great chemistry between the three of them - both in and out of the bedroom. The story line is interesting with plenty of twists to keep the pages turning and the characters feel so real that they practically leap off the ...more

In The Nerds and the CEO all three are pretty much nerds. I like these characters and they are all so different as well as similar. Emily is shy and unsure of herself in her private life but has learned how to navigate her professional life. Justin is impulsive, but he's also sensitive and passionate. Antonio is more reserved and a planner. Once I started their story it was all encompassing. Just when you think the plot is leading one way it goes another and we're taken along with them on this w ...more

Allyson Lindt's "The Nerds and the CEO" is the first tale in The Nerd Love Equation series. The characters are very well-written, as usual with Allyson Lindt. Emily is an amazing leading lady and holy smokes Justin and Antonio are hawt! This story feels like a fugue with escalating themes...such a great set of developments in this storyline. This year I am having many great surprises.
I wasn't expecting this story when I began reading this book. I don't know why, as I didn't read the blurb beforehand, but I thought it would be a superficial story, maybe the cover or the title.
But the author surprised me, the plot is deep and the characters are great. I loved the three main characters and their relationship.
I will definitely read other books from Allyson Lindt.
