This time, she won’t escape.
She was just an innocent girl. With her beautiful auburn hair, and those sparkling blue eyes, she deserves better than to be held captive by the monsters I call my friends.

I watch over her, biding my time. Waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. To be the knight in leather armor.

After I save her, there’s no going back. Our lives will forever be intertwined, whether she wants it or not.

Eventually, she’ll come to see me as her savior.

Eventually, she will be mine.

What a fantastic start to what I think will be an amazing series.
Breaker is book 1 in the Heartbreaker MC series and the story revolves around Kate and Breaker.
It's completely addictive and hooks you in from the very beginning.
You can't help but get invested in their story as Breaker is very mysterious and you want to find out more about him and Kate you just want to give a massive hug and praise her for how resilient she is.
She's definitely a force to be reckoned with and is stronger than she first appears.
That's what I love about Alexis Abbott books as the man save the women but the women save the men straight back.
I absolutely loved this book and I can't wait to read book 2 in the series.
You really need to one click it asap and fall in love with a great MC book.

Really like the start of this new series. Strong Hero strong story line. These are the thinks I liked.
The things I didn't like:
The author gets a little repetitive. For example. If she mentioned the girl was 18 when she was kidnapped once she mentioned it a hundred times. And talks about the little bedroom they had her in everytime Kate remembers that time in her life.
Also and this is the biggie. If I was kidnapped and went into hiding after I was helped with an escape. The first thing I would have done was get into some self defense classes but no not this heroine.

Anyway I really did like the start to this series. There was no cheating which is always a plus. Hopefully the author will take this creative criticism and apply it to the rest of the series.

These two meet in a really bad situation. She was kidnapped and being held by his MC. He saves her and they are on the run together. There is quite a lot of action in this book and they are on the run the first half of it. Then they part ways, fast forward 6 years and he is coming back to get what’s his.

This was a safe read, no mention of others during their 6 year separation, she’s still a virgin. No om or ow drama, just the storyline. Quite a bit of action, since they are on the run most of the time. Some baby batter and an hea.

2.5 stars. I struggled. I love this author and have read all of her books, this one however, I had trouble finishing. It has the bones to be great, but it just didn't come together for me. I had to push my way though and almost did not finish. While I love this author's works this one was a miss for me. The first 12% of the book is a woman rambling on an on about her best friend, wondering where he is and not understanding how she go there and there is not other characters, just her. She is nothing like the strong female leads this author I known for.

Once Breaker (our hero) is introduced I got more frustrated. He was not an alpha male to me, he felt weak and unintelligent. The MC was a bundle of confusion, and I just didn't enjoy it. I pushed through to finish the book, but was disappointed. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.

Breaker and Kate didn't first meet under pleasant circumstances.
I like how Ms. Abbott set this story up and delivered it, was it my favorite of hers? No, it wasn't but it definitely had an engrossing plot.
Kate gets kidnapped by Breakers MC for nefarious reasons and when Breaker finds out that's when things really start happening.
There's action, suspense, mystery, the steamy scenes that are in there are HOT!!!
It got slow around the middle of the novel but picked right back up. There is a lot of inner monologue, especially by Kate because she she spends most of the time alone in this book.
I'm excited to finish the rest in the series, the new MC is going to epic! --‐

Wow, this was dull (and so were the main characters) and the plot was ridiculous. Despite how often we're told that she's incredibly clever, Kate is so amazingly dumb and boring and her reactions to being in these situations made no sense whatsoever.

Alexis Abbott is an exceptional Author to me and I truly enjoy the writing style she consistently provides all of us reader's with. With the creation of Breaker, you can envision a World of MC danger and all around intrigue. Breaker is so much more then a sexy romance; this is the first installment to a brand new addictive series. I, personally, will be following the Heartbreakers MC and impatiently awaiting the next release for this riveting series.

First and foremost, I try immensely hard never to give away any part of the plot and I will give you my best review...

Kate, an 18 year old, good girl, is looking for a night of fun and adventure with her best friend, Moxie, however, what she gets is a life altering experience, she could of never foreseen. Breaker is getting ready to attend the morning meeting at their current Clubhouse when he first lays his eyes on Kate. Shockingly, he turns out to be her savior and after this action filled rescue, they go on the run. Until they have to part ways only to reunite 6 years later. Why? Shhh, more intense drama. With who? Let's just say that their unfinished business has caught up to them and it will take nerves of steel to save them now. Now imagine running for your life while fighting a desire that has 6 years to simmer and burn/build. Yummy. Explosive chemistry between these two amazing characters.

Being a huge fan of MC books, I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Breaker in exchange for my honest/voluntarily given opinion. If you are in need of a deliciously designed MC romance, then look no further because inside these awe inspiring pages is the stuff of heartpounding dreams.

Thank you to Ms. Abbott for another example of your talent and creativity.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

She was just an innocent girl. WIth her beautiful auburn hair, and those sparkling blue eyes. SHe deserves better than to be held captive by monsters I call my friends. I watch over her, biding my time. Waiting or the perfect opportunity to strike. TO be the knight win leather armor. After I save her, there's no going back . Our lives will forever be intertwined, whether she wants it or not. Eventually, she'll come to see me as her savior. Eventually she will be mine.

This is the first book in the Heartbreaker MC. This book is a standalone so you do not have to worry about it being a cliffhanger. This is a story that spans years of Breaker and Kate's lives. She is held captive by the MC and Breaker is one of the top member and also looks after her. This all begins as a new business venture that the president of the club wants to get he club in to to make lots of money. Kate just enjoyed a wonderful night out with her friends but in the morning wakes up in a nightmare locked in a shed. This is totally not acceptable by Breaker and he breaks her out and leaves his beloved MC and is on the run. The members of the MC are hunting for them. Will they spend their lifetime running and looking over their shoulder, or can they live a life they want to live and be free of all this. That you have to read and find out and in true Alexis Abbott fashion it will have you one the edge of your seat, holding your breathe and reading as fast as you can. This book is amazing and I loved every single second of it. It is a book that I am so glad I got to read and I can not wait to see what comes next from this new series.

Great start to a new series! The last thing Kate remembers was being out at a club with her friend. Breaker is part of the MC group that kidnapped Kate but he doesn’t agree with his plans for her. Can he save her and himself? Fast-paced read with lots of drama and suspense. The chemistry is off the charts steamy and the story grabs you from beginning to end. Looking forward to more!

What a terrific way to start this Heartbreakers MC Series. We get to meet Breaker and his MC under Buzz. Kate wakes up in an unknown place that smells and she is unable to get out and not much memory how she got there. Let’s say once Breaker realizes the plans on how the MC is going to start earning money do things go sideways quickly. Breaker is put in an uncomfortable position ending a friends life and leaves on the run from his MC for all the right reasons, getting Kate out and to safety. He knows the MC is out for blood and will track them down so Kate needs a new life away from the life she knew prior to being taken. Six lonely years later Kate let’s is slip about Breaker to someone she thought was a friend and the past is right at her door step, guns blazing. Thank goodness that Breaker has closely keep track of Kate and happens to be there when the bullets fly into her apartment. Kate has been through a hardship over the past and once it returns along with Breaker she knows he is the one to keep her safe and she is not going to let him walk away so easy this time. Breaker has taken many of his former MC and started his own and will not stand for those who want to harm any women and children. Will the past and Buzz along with the evilness of his MC bring Breaker down or will the determination to keep Kate safe end their fight for a wrong committed? I look forward to reading about all the other members of this new MC and the dangers they will face together! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is book #1 in the new series, this is a standalone romance.

Breaker is part of a MC Group. He's been riding with them awhile. Although they don't have much money, the president of the group has plans for a new club house, and new opportunity for additional money to come in. Breaker was never part of the discussion of what the plans were.

Kate is 18 yrs old, pretty innocent, as she's been mostly sheltered by her parents not allowing her to go out or takin her places. Kate is out one night with girlfriend, until the friend disappears. Who would leave a friend alone in a strange bar / club? Kate wakes up the next morning not knowing where she was or how she got there. She bangs on the doors and windows. She see's a motorcycle approaching and gets the riders attention, hopefully he will come to help her.

Breaker realizes that the girl in the window Kate needs help. He knows that she is being kept against her will. Breaker helps her escape, intertwining their lives. Breaker tells Kate she can't go back to her childhood home. She can't go back to her small town. She has to move on with her life. How are will this be for Kate? Can she leave everything behind? Will she be able to survive on her own?

Six years down the road, Breaker comes back into Kate's life again. Although he's watched her from afar all these years, she's never seen him.

I did receive a free ARC copy for the author. I am freely leaving an honest review.

Breaker sees the girl and wonders if Roadster’s finally brought someone home, she looks cute and innocent, something he couldn’t keep his hands off, he wasn’t called Heartbreaker for no reason, but looking closer she looks terrified and he finds out Roadster knows nothing about her. At the meeting he learns that the girl is part of their president’s plan, he brought a club and they are kidnapping girls to pimp out, he didn’t like the way the club was going, and this confirmed it.
Kate hoped people were looking for her, she missed her family, she missed her friend and the man from earlier didn’t come back, finally feeling defeated she hears voices, thinking someone had come to help her, when she sees the dead body, she wonders if she could be next.
Breaker knows if he hadn’t taken her that the club would pimp her out, but now the whole club will be looking for them and knows there will be consequences if they find him.
Something about Kate reminds him of his stepfathers, and how they treated his mother and he won’t abandon her, but can he save her.
Kate knows what Breaker says makes sense, but she can’t help the longing she feels, she should hate him, but there’s something between them, but will they get to find out what.

What a fantastic ride!!!

This is an excellent MC romance that had me entranced from the very beginning. Kate is out with her friend, Moxie who is a party girl. When Kate returns from a bathroom break to find Moxie gone she doesn't know what to do. When a guy tells her he saw Moxie leave with the guy she was dancing and drinking with, Kate is even more confused. Next thing Kate knows, she's waking up in an unfamiliar room and no recollection of how she got there or even who brought her there. When she realizes that she is locked in she panics and tries to get the attention of a biker she sees riding past the window. Breaker sees the girl in the window and thinks she's probably there with one of his MC brothers and heads to the meeting he was going to. When Breaker learns the true fate of the young woman he saw in the window he's not happy and he has to decide what to do about it. Grab this exciting book today to find out what happens to Kate. Will Breaker help her or will he leave her to her fate? Definitely a great read and I highly recommend it. Looking forward to more books from this author with the other Heartbreakers MC members' stories.

I enjoyed reading this story. It was well written and I liked the MC aspect in this one. We have a bad MC at the beginning of the story that the hero is a member of and they are about to take a really bad turn and he just can't do it. He rescues Kate and steps out on his own. I liked that aspect of the story. He's not above breaking the law. He lives by his own rules but he does have lines that he won't cross and sex trafficking is one of them. Kate starts out as a fairly naive and innocent 18 year old that gets into a really bad situation. This book is pretty much split into 2 parts. I was not expecting that at first. We have the first where we get to meet them and how they escape and then we jump 6 years later and the situation is then completely resolved. There is definitely some action in this story. It's explicit, in both the sex and the violence aspect of things. I think it's the story and the characters and is not too over the top. There is not a whole of sex in the book and with what is going on, there really couldn't be. I did enjoy the story and was entertained while reading it.

“Breaker”is an incredible start to the new series Heartbreakers MC. This exciting story had me hooked from the first page to the last. I just couldn't put it down. After partying at a bar with her friend Moxie, Kate awakens locked in a small, cold room. She has no recollection on how she ended up a prisoner. Will she be raped and murdered or sold into slavery? When Breaker spies Kate through a shed window he knows something is not right. He discovers that Buzz, his President has decided to make money for the MC by abducting girls and forcing them into prostitution and worse. Breaker decides to release Kate but he ends up killing his best friend. Now they are on the run. There is no way that the Pres will let them live. This story takes you on a roller-coaster ride of non-stop action, intense suspense, sizzling sexual tension and heart wrenching romance leading to a spectacular conclusion. “Breaker” is definite MUST READ! I'm waiting impatiently for book 2.

This is a breath-holding, palm sweating, fast paced book. Kate is drugged and kidnapped after a night out with her reckless partying friend. Breaker is a trusted member of the club, but he can't abide the idea of kidnapping and human trafficking, so he breaks her out and they go on the run. I had trouble with Kate's constant whining about her friend after everything that Breaker went through to save her. To the point that they tracked down the creep that she left with. After all that, her friend couldn't have cared less what happened to her. After several years, she breaks her silence about what happened to her and terror comes knocking. Thank goodness Breaker has been keeping an eye on her. If he had connected with her before they may have started their life together instead of fleeing for their lives again. Breaker is not one to back down and he may not be perfect, but he has standards. I was drawn to Breaker and loved the way he took care of business. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

Admittedly I love a bad boy and a biker either has the ability to make me cringe or.....bring the bad girl out to play.
Breaker loves his club and enjoys the closeness that the bike club brings him that is until the prez decides to take the club in a direction. A direction that he just can't follow.

Kate's character is also a pretty intelligent girl. With that said she is also the middle child of 5 and feels lonely at times so she does things with her friend that isn't the smartest but she errs on the side of caution. Even with all that she manages to get in trouble and this is where Kate and Breaker meet. There story is eventful, sweet at times, hot at others but always caring. I don't want to say more and give away the real story but this is a fantastic beginning to a series I will have to follow. The next few books are going to be about other guys we meet in this book and if they are anywhere near as good as this one, I will be a fan of the Heartbreakers MC club.

I just love MC books. This one we get to see some crime in the MC, we get to see what the MC means to some, and we get to see some brotherhood.

Kate I would like to think was mature for her age but yet had that innocents and was very naive. She was 18 so it was nice to see someone like that at that age. She had to make some very important choses and decide who to put her trust in.

I just loved Breaker. I loved seeing someone that has that real bad boy attitude and yet had a good heart. he did not care to drawl the line when it came to something he was totally against. He too will have some important decisions that will change his life forever.

I love the chemistry between Breaker and Kate. They both drawn to each other but I loved how Breaker could drawl the line when he needed to.

Things will get bad and very dangerous but Kate will find how much she can really trust Breaker.

This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.

This book wasn’t quite what I expected but I really enjoyed it.
I loved getting to know these new characters especially Breaker, although I would’ve loved to have read more about him as well as Kate on their own. I loved their interactions and how well they got on with each other. I wasn’t a big fan of Kate’s at the beginning, there was just something about her character that annoyed me quite a bit. But I loved how much she grew over the years and towards the end of the story especially when she was with Breaker. I loved how happy Breaker was by then.
There were some parts in the story that didn’t quite add up to what was said previously by some of the characters, so retellings changed from time to time. For an MC book, I do have to admit that I expected some more elements to do with an MC. But other than that, I really liked it and I can’t wait to see which club member is next

It all happened so fast…. One-minute Kate was out with her best friend Moxie having fun and the next minute she is waking up in an unfamiliar place, not able to remember how she got there, and feeling terrified. Kate is a young woman who has wanted something more than her sheltered life that she was living but she may have gotten more than she bargained for as she wound up as a hostage. Breaker is a member of the motorcycle club that kidnapped Kate but he is not like the others. When he sees Kate, something about her calls to him and when he finds out the club’s plans for her all bets are off. Can Kate trust Breaker to get her to safety? This is one high octane read from start to finish. Filled with suspense, drama, and steam this storyline will have any readers’ adrenaline pumping! I hope that there will be a continuation or bonus epilogue for this story and look forward to reading more in this series.

Breaker, book one in the Heartbreakers MC, follows eighteen year old Kate and biker bad boy Breaker. When “good girl” Kate and her friend Moxie go out for a night of fun, she expected a night of dancing, not to wake up in a strange place. Breaker is a part of a MC getting ready to go to their Sunday meeting with Buzz, their club prez, when he spots something strange, a girl in the window of an outdoor shed. After learning in the meeting that they plan on kidnapping young girls, Breaker figures that’s why she’s there and quickly goes to rescue her. As they go on the run together, things begin to heat up, but they are forced to go their separate ways only to reunite six years later. Now Breaker is a member of a new MC, and when they hear about Kate being under attack, he runs to her rescue. Will the pair be ale to stay together this time? Or will their pasts come back to haunt them once more?

So I'm reading through the book and following the story right...they meet up with her friend after she was saved by the biker dude. Then all of a sudden...WHAM...6 years later... WTF? Ok...confused.

Ok this book went downhill real fast for me...she was kidnapped for the sole purpose of sex trafficking basically...then she is rescued...now 6 years later she is a massage therapist who now is thinking of giving happy endings for more cash flow...seriously.

The dude was never her kidnapper...the mc was. not him...ugh

Then one chapter is spent on describing a movie...really??? I dont understand why this book got such rave reviews. I have less than 100 pages to go and feel like I was robbed of a real story and just flown fluff at me.

The last 50 pages brought this from a 2 star to a 3 star. Her suspenseful writing kept me on my toes. I enjoyed that part.

Her Saviour to Trust

A really great start to this new MC series by Alexis Abbott. As Always it has a really well written storyline, fantastic likeable or hate with a passion characters! A read that keeps you gripped to the very end, in fact I had to read this great book in one sitting!
This is Kate and Breaker’s story book 1 in the series, Kate is the good girl in her large family of siblings, egged on by her friend Moxie to get into a club even though Kate is only 18 and underage! Of course it all goes awry and she is drugged and taken!
I do not like to give spoilers but just to say can Kate trust Breaker to keep her safe and will justice be served?

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. This book was definitely action packed, suspenseful, emotional and full of passion. Kate and Moxie out on the town and trying to get into a club and turned down get an offer from a sexy stranger with a tantalizing proposal. Little did Kate know that her night out would turn into something more than she could have ever imagined. When Breaker spies Kate, he knows something isn’t quite right and when he finds out what the club prez has in store for their new venture, he’s not on board with it and the outcome of his actions will put him and Kate in danger from the club. No spoilers here, great start to this new series. I’ve quickly become a fan of the MC genre and this book did not disappoint. I highly recommend this book.

Let me start by saying I'm not a motorcycle club fan, but Alexis Abbott just might make me one. This story had everything you could possibly want there was suspense, action, betrayal, attraction, steam and love. I liked Breaker from the beginning, he is loyal until the president of the motorcycle club cross a line into very dark things. Breaker can't just stand by and let him do what he wants. This puts Breaker into a very difficult position. Even with the bad things he's done he still has a conscience. In my opinion Breaker is a very likable character. In my opinion Kate is a typical damsel in distress. In my opinion this is a fun story and I can't wait to see where Alexis Abbott takes this series. What started out as fun night out has ended with Kate being abducted. She wakes up and she doesn’t know where she is or why she is there and the only thing she does know is she is scared.

Breaker is a member of the MC that abducted her but when he finds out what their plans are for her his conscience won’t let him walk away. Instead he rescues her, and they leave which places both of them in danger.

Six years later Kate has a new life, but one mistake has placed her in danger once again. Although Breaker hasn’t been in her life, he hasn’t been far away either. Kate has never forgotten Breaker and this time around she wants to be part of his life, but will he be able to keep her safe?

Full of suspense, action and heat this story takes you on a wild ride.

This is a great start to a new series. Kate has woken up not knowing where she is. She can’t remember the night before. When she can’t leave, she tries to get the attention of Breaker when she sees him. Here you get to meet the MC he is part of, and he realizes he doesn’t want to go along with what is happening. When he saves Kate, he is now on the run from people he thought of as family. There is action, suspense, backstabbing and two characters who belong together no matter what. I don’t want to give too much away. You definitely need to read this book. I loved the storyline and all the characters. I can’t wait for more of this series and read about the other guys. This was a great start to a new series.

Kate and her best friend went out for a night of dancing. Unfortunately, when she wakes up she finds out she has been locked into a dingy little room, with only vague memories of events from the previous night. There is a line Breaker won't cross, and the president of the MC he is a member of has just crossed it. He refuses to let the young woman looked in the room behind the club house become a victim of the sex trade, and will do everything in his power to release her and keep her safe.
Exciting dark romance with action and some suspense. Sexy and interesting characters that will get their happily ever after. Fantastic read, I couldn't put it down.

A Bad Guy who is so Good !!

Breaker is a member of a motorcycle club, who draws the line and risks his life when a young lady is taken against her will. Kate went clubbing with her friend Moxie and wakes locked in a cell-like room. The man who tries to free her is gorgeous and dangerous, and her best or only chance to save her life.

Kate had to walk away from her family and friends and start a new life, but never forgot the man who was her rescuer. When that trouble finds her again can they escape with their lives a second time?

A story of relationships, family and honor. High enjoyable.
