HAIKU REVIEW
A growing teen girl.
Battle scarred by the system.
Decides to fight back.
A continuation from Keri 1, Keri, now a teenager, having been raped by her stepfather and physically beaten by her embittered mother, decides enough is enough and tries to make her way through her early teenage years only to continually have obstacles and abuse thrown in her path. Yet along the way she meets a lot of good people who offer her solace, home, and sanctuary. Then the chance of romance begins to blossom. As before, an involving read, somehow not as shocking as Keri 1, but perhaps that's because I've become used to the nature of her world.
