My Afmerica covers a lot of ground. I alternatively found myself smiling and laughing, and full of sorrow and despair. On these pages, Ms. Whites paints a picture of the state of our world and country: How they have been, how they are, and how they might be. Beautifully written - entertaining, heart-wrenching, and hopeful. Readily accessible yet profound. Vivid stories condensed within each poem. Absolutely worth reading.
