She was born with the sight.

Over a century old, Isabelle is under lock and key—and the watchful eye of her burly guard, Scurn. Her premonitions make her a target, but she’s no good to her people in hiding, watching reruns of reality TV. And crawling through ductwork to escape supervision is getting old. So when she gets a vision of another seer like her, one who’s still a

The Seer is another great read in the New Vampire Disorder series. I’ve been waiting for Isabelle’s story since we first got a glimpse of her in Demetrius’s book. She is a Seer who has lived in isolation her whole life, and Bartholomew Scurn is the sexy, brooding bodyguard who has pledged his life to protecting her. Even though this is a novella and not as in depth as other books in the series, I didn’t feel short changed, and it’s definitely worth the read.

I really enjoyed this story and this is a fantastic addition to the series. Isabella has been under guard and locked away since she was a child because she is a Seer. Scurn was sent to kill Isabella when she was a child by the council but he couldn’t do it, he then committed his life to protect her. That’s all I’m giving you guys it’s a short story so I don’t want to give away too much. It may only be a short story but there’s so much inside this book to keep you entertained and turning the page ...more

The Seer is book #7 of The New Vampire Disorder series and joins The Sigma Menace Series.
Although I liked the story, it didn't captivate me as much as The Sigma Menace Series. But it is probably because there is no further action in the background. Instead the NVD-books are self-contained with the aim of defining the new role of the Synod.
The story is a little calmer than the other books. But it fits the two main characters.
They're both a little unusual. But that's why they go so very well toge

The Seer is a short novella, focusing on Isabelle, the sister of Demetrius, and a seer, who has been hidden away.

The story is essentially a coming of age story for Isabelle, whish covers a lot of her backstory, and shows her breaking away from the preconceptions a lot of people have about her and her abilities. It also expands our knowledge of the world by looking at what seers are capable of, and how they can be of use rather than hidden away, as they previously have been.

I found this quite boring compared to the shifter series.

The storyline was well written, the plot flowed smoothly from page to page and the characters were so well developed which kept me totally captivated until the turn of the very last page!
