Middle of the road for me, though a solid 3.5 stars. Nexus was one of those books I heard about and never got around to reading, so pleased I finally did. It is certainly quirky, with lovely retro flavour art by Steve Rude, and just the right balance of humour and drama by Mike Baron.
I would recommend to others, just don't expect your traditional hero, or traditional super hero book.
