Big trucks, little trucks, loud trucks, quiet trucks, red trucks, yellow trucks! All kinds of trucks! Wonderful stories for kids to learn, play and enjoy!
I would have loved this as a child, because I really really liked trucks. I rode around in a toy dump truck until I couldn't fit, picking things up here and dumping them there.
The illustrations were adorable: especially the one of a turtle looking at a camper with a shocked expression. Why could it carry so much more stuff in its shell than the turtle could?
This one was pretty good. Felt a tad outdated. And each page had a separate four-line rhyme about each individual truck. So that left me feeling a little disjointed. Joey is right now really into Golden Books so he loves them all.
This was very frustrating to read, especially out loud to the kids, as some sentences rhymes and others didn’t, so you’d get a good rhythm going and then it’d all bugger up in the following sentence.
