This is the third book in the Leaning N series, and another installment of the popular Dreamspun Desires series.

Bleu Bridey is a sculptor, creating masterpieces with his hands. He's also blind, living in Santa Fe, and a good friend of Stoney and Ford, the owners of the Leaning N ranch near Aspen. Bleu has been working on a commissioned piece celebrating the love story between Stoney and Ford, and he's traveling up to the ranch for Gay Ski Week, a yearly event, to unveil said commissioned piece,

To call the Leaning N “unusual” is a severe understatement and does this quirky Colorado ranch with its lovable owners and caring secondary characters a severe disservice. The Leaning N has already been a brilliant location for the first two volumes in this series, and I couldn’t wait to find out what this third novel was all about. With a blind sculptor named Bleu and a former Olympic snowboarder named Ryan as main characters, both their exes in attendance for Gay Ski Week, and a promise of a s ...more

The cover model takes the majority of the layout, wearing a white t-shirt under a white winter coat. In the background, a row of (presumably) cabins are depicted, each adorned with “icicle” lighting. It kinda feels Christmassy, although it’s not a holiday story. For me, I’d probably pass on this one based on the cover but the author name gave me pause and the synopsis lured me in. I love reading stories with differently-abled characters.

Bleu Bridey is that handsome blind sculptor living in Santa Fe who has become a frequent visitor of the Leaning N ranch near Aspen. Shortly after Christmas, his ex-boyfriend and gallery-owner Dan Klah drives him up to the ranch for the Gay Ski Week and the unveiling of Bleu’s latest work, a sculpture celebrating the ranch owners’ love and mutual commitment. Bleu is happy to meet up again with the friendly staff and to discover the snow-covered mountains. That is, until he stumbles upon who else ...more

I was thoroughly surprised by this book. I say that because I have read other books by B. A. Tortuga and though were not bad persay, they was just not my cup a tea. But I will admit that this was a decent read. I have not read the previous books in this series, and with being honest I probably will not read them now but I can say this was a good read and I would recommend it for others.

Bleu has always been blind so it has not been something that he had to get used to. Being blind is all he has

Bleu is a blind sculptor and good friend of Ford and Stoney. Ford has commissioned him to do a sculpture for Stoney and the reveal is to tie in with Gay Ski Week. Bleu shows up with his ex, Dan and runs into his first ex, Ryan who is there for the Ski exhibition with his ex, Phil. Say that three times fast.
So this cover tells me nothing about this story. I would never guess a blind man, sculptures or anything about the story, but B.A. Tortuga is an auto-buy for me, plus the blurb sounded pretty

From that review: I am really enjoying the Leaning N series from BA Tortuga and this story especially checked a lot of my boxes for contemporary romances.  The first beingOK it's author!  yes, I can never pass up a BA Tortuga story, and Whiskey to Wine (Leaning N #3) by BA Tortuga has so many elements in it that I love to red about.  It has cowboys and kids in the family that owns

I enjoyed this book even though I had not read others in the series and there were lots of characters from other books. Bleu is a blind artist who has returned to Colorado to unveil a statue and it overlaps with a local ski competition and his ex from univ ends up staying at the ranch as well. There is some confusion with both assuming they are with their roommates but they are actually exes. Before long they connect again but have to get past their history. I love Bleu. He is fearless and wants ...more

Really nice story with good MC's and secondary characters. Loved seeing lots of Stoney and Ford again. I was worried about some "Big Misunderstandings" but there were only some little misunderstandings which caused tension but were resolved quickly. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Wow, it takes a very untalented author to completely and utterly DESTROY an intriguing blurb >:-o!!! I did NOT enjoy this book OR its very cumbersome writing style; I DO NOT appreciate, enjoy, or like this author's writing ... not even remotely!! Nope!! This marks the end where this author is concerned; I'm never reading any of her works again!! Nope nope nope!!!! ZERO STARS!!!

I love the way these two reconnect. How they can overcome misunderstandings. They just seem so well suited to each other now that they're grown up. But you all get the sense that they wouldn't have worked out if they had tried to stay together before.
