I am not a financial planner and I often feel lost when asked which decisions I want to make pertaining to my future and retirement. Veronica helps to break it down in pieces that I can actually understand and helped me feel more knowledgeable moving forward. She speaks to the reader in such a way that you feel like you’re sitting next to her having a conversation. The book was enjoyable and easily a quick read for me! I loved when she shared real world scenarios that I could relate to and her t ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Very well laid out and easy to follow. Super actionable. One of my goals is to help young people learn financial literacy and this will definitely be a resource I use in that journey.

I recently read the book by famous Tony Robbins “Unshakeable”. Unlike that book, I didn’t have to get through half of it filled with self-promotion before finding useful information. The author of “Money Matters” gets down to business from the first page. Even though this book is only about 150 pages, every single page is filled with important information that you can action right away. Most Americans, even after finishing Ivy League schools, don’t have any of the basic financial knowledge for e ...more

I get it, adulting is hard. Sadly, many school systems have not placed a high value on learning taxes or about investment and sometimes, we are not ready to hear or take in all of this scary talk. Veronica really gets it and has given you an amazing tool to keep around. Money Matters is a book you will want to reference back to many times over! All of the information is broken down into basic terminology and laid out in an attainable way that you can use to start getting your adult life in order ...more

I’m going to make this quick. I’ve just finished reading Money Matters, Everything You Should Have Learned In School, but Didn’t. I’ve colored tabbed certain chapters the blue are my referenced chapters. I will be rereading these chapters to guide me through my financial journey. The yellow are my question chapters. I will be sending a question or two because I want to make sure I understand the contents in those chapters completely. The red is my concerned chapter. This chapter is my current st ...more

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck meets a financial planning seminar; This author perfectly combines complicated financial planning tools with a user friendly approach that is both relatable and engrossing. I would strongly recommend this for people of all ages, but more importantly for those just starting out in the adult world. The main focusing point of the book is to inform on all of the necessary life practices that were never covered in school and it does a great job communicating them w ...more
