In her debut novel, Dana Ross pulls off challenges that have defeated more seasoned authors. She gives us a heroine who is a hard-boiled Washington D.C. madam and makes the reader pull for her. And then she presents us not with the usual testosterone spewing hero, but an unlikely one -a virtuous, awkward senatorial candidate - and we love him. Then Ross caps it off with a plot that makes the unlikely duo fall in love and make a happily ever after for them impossible. This book is page turner. Op ...more

What happens when you’re so desperate that you will do anything, including ruining someone you don’t even know? Then what happens when you get to know him? When you get to love him? Maybe. If you even know what love is anymore.

Should you save yourself, or your “girls?” Should you live up to your late partner’s legacy or create your own? Should you pursue the goals you’ve been chasing for a decade, or...not?

Full Girlfriend Experience is a surprising and touching story of redemption, in which Dana

The Full Girlfriend Experience by Dana Ross was nothing like I expected. It was a difficult read for me, but I ended up liking the story in the end.

I’m not quite sure how to feel about this book. I haven’t read political romances before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But, after reading the synopsis, I was actually looking forward for some crazy drama, intrigue, suspense, and romance. The story did have those, but I struggled with this book quite a bit. The pacing was slow in

Thank you Netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was remarkably unremarkable. I liked Faith's snarky, business woman personality as she attempts to save the escort business she owns and stay out of trouble with the cops. I just didn't care too much for the story. Very slow in the beginning and uninspiring.

Full Girlfriend Experience was a fun read. Faith Crawley is the owner Washington DC consulting firm with a secret menu for those in the know. She’s having financial difficulties and has to make a tough choice to solve them. Dana Ross brings you into the character’s world with vivid descriptions of sights, sounds, and smells. I felt like I knew the main character, Faith, and it was fun to see her relationships with her secretary, Jeanine, her mark, Finn, and her ex, Bobby. Ms. Ross did a great jo ...more

Dana Ross is a talented author with the ability to make a story pop off the pages with characters who struggle with their identity or as some would say damaged. The author has an ability to create dialogue that is able to craft a story bringing out the different characters unique voices. The story is from Faith's point of review. Faith is human but her background has made her protect those she cares about.
This story is a well written romance story.

Faith, the quirky "madam" protagonist, is damaged and defensive, but protective of the girls who work for her. She controls a "Perfect Image" company (legal and illegal) which holds secrets of the rich and powerful in D.C. While she doesn't think she "needs" many people, she uses them when necessary. These traits don't make her a likable character for the reader.

However, Faith is rough on herself and acknowledges her faults, which makes her redeemable. She's a fighter who will take chances to sa

Dana Ross’s Girlfriend Experience hooked me practically from page one, with its engaging protagonist, Faith Crawley, a DC madam no less, embroiled with a cathouse full of recognizable charmers and the usual run of Washington swamp-dwelling politicians. Forced to compromise her ethics (sic) to save her business, she agrees to get dirt on a client, an upcoming senatorial candidate, by sleeping with him, only to fall in love. A madam with a heart of gold seeking gold. I love this book, with its twi ...more

Full Girlfriend Experience is a fast, fun read. But there's more than just witty dialogue and the spot-on voices of Faith and her cast of characters. Dana Ross does a great job of evoking setting (the baseball bat scene, for one--LOVE the details and the humor.) But even harder to pull off are her multi-dimensional, believable characters. Faith comes off as snarky and confident but we also get to know her vulnerabilities as she interacts with those she cares deeply about. That's why Faith was fu ...more

I tried for 3 weeks to finish this book but after 7 chapters I just gave up. I simply did not like the main character. I could not get into her and her assistant was just silly with no depth. Sorry, but I would not recommend.

When this book starts you think it will be gritty and smutty, but no it isnt. There are a few "cases" discussed and some strange behavior, but nothing totally x rated. Just like any other political setting, a madam has dirt & political dirty tricks at her disposal. They are all connected. Yeah kind of sick right? Anyways, the main, a DC Madam Faith Crawley is contacted by her former client, Senator William Drummond. Right off the bat you know the dialogue is there, but you are not able to read b ...more

Full Girlfriend Experience by Dana Ross is magnificent. I enjoyed reading this romance immensely. The characters are quirky, damaged and looking for acceptance. The setting high powered Washington D.C. political arena was the perfect backdrop for our wounded heroine.

So, what's wrong in this book?
My answer: the main character and the plot.
The plot is secondary though, because the main problem in this book is how unconnected I felt with the heroine. Right now I don't even remember her name. I couldn't connect with her problems, with her way to see life and with the way she tries to save her business. I found her very superficial (the only thing she cared
