Too bad Divina, the witch in question, wants nothing to do with any of it.

She’s not about to let some ancient prophecy dictate who she’s going to love. She’l

The Witch of the Prophecy is the first book in The Prophecy Trilogy and centers around three supernatural characters – Davina, Rori, and Aric. Years ago, Davina, a witch, made Rori’s vampire heart beat again. He also left her and shattered her world. Now he’s returned to convince her that she’s an important part of a supernatural prophecy.

"There is a vampire whose heart beats for a witch, but she belongs to a wolf. That vampire shall take the seat."

Davina resents the prophecy and the idea that h

I couldn’t connect with this book at all. I am not sure what it was about it. I didn’t connect with the characters, I didn’t like or dislike any of them I just didn’t care about them. I don’t like writing negative reviews, so it may just be me that couldn’t feel it here. I am sure others may enjoy it, just not for me.

I was given this book for review by the author.

I was immediately engrossed in this book from the start. I had to find out what these characters were all about. The sexual tension started off ASAP and held me reading through the night.

Divina is a witch and not just any witch, but the one from the vampire prophesy. The one that will help Rori reach his goal, even if he struggles with what he truly wants. Rori is a vampire and the one that taught Divina about her heritage. He was also the one whom

Divina (a witch) fell in love with Rori (a vampire). He left and broke her heart. Then out of nowhere he shows back up in her life telling her she's some sort of prophecy and he only left her because he was told to.

"A vampire whose heart beats for a witch... The witch who belongs to a wolf... He will save all kinds. He gets the throne."

Divina doesn't want to be part of a prophecy. She doesn't want the Ember Witches to be messing around in her li

I red the excerpt at the end of Jamie Begley’s Sex Piston novel. Got hooked. Now I’ve finished reading and I want more! This is one of those stories where I was so immersed, I was taken by surprise by the end of book. My thoughts were: “What? No! There has to be more! I need to know what happens!”

OMG! I want more!!!

What a read! I finished the book in just under a day! As soon as I started reading, there was no way I could put it down. The story was engrossing, the characters complex and well developed, the writing wonderful! Great world building, excellent plot twists, and the mystery of the prophecy that is slowly and yet not fully revealed. I loved that Divina is trying to follow her own path, not succumbing to the "demands" of the prophecy and the Ember Witches. Although I'm not a fan

This is the first book in this series and I was snagged from the very beginning. It lays out the plot for the rest of the series and I look forward to reading the other two books in this series. I am torn between Rori and Aric, I don't know which one I like more. I'm going to dive into the next one and I look forward to falling in and getting lost.

Divina and Rory had just had sex. He was a vampire and wanted Divina for his own. Rory had lost the concept of time and when he was with Davina . Divina was a witch. Her innocence drew Rory in. He cherished her. These intimate moments with her were more valuable to him than any jewel or treasure. Three years later Rory felt longing in his heart. Sometimes memories were the worst form of torture. With the prophecy set in motion, he was being sent back to divina. He went to the reading wagon vardo ...more

Loved it! And I love Aric. When he walks away from the wagon and says even with rough wool irratating his balls nothing can stop his good mood. I was absolutely howling (get it), imagining him walking away in a crochet blanket! Can't wait to read the next book!

While this series definitely had/has potential, I felt like I was dropped into the middle of an ongoing story arc, while somehow also not having enough background on the characters. A lot of past events and prophecies are referenced and not fully explained. Seeing as this first installment is titled after Divina (the witch in question), I thought there should have been more focus on her. What did she do/live before knowing about her heritage? Doesn't she have family/friends? What happened before ...more

This was a relatively short, start-up story to kick off this series. As the title indicates, we get to meet the “witch of the prophecy” but we also learn about all the drama surrounding said prophecy.

Divina is a fortune teller who shared a brief, romantic time learning about her magical gifts with her then boyfriend. This boyfriend also just happened to be a vampire, and the person she believed was the love of her life. Turns out, however, that he was more interested in jump-starting some epic p

Spell binding read! Think that about sums it up haha, but in all seriousness it has you hooked from the beginning, I was completely engrossed in the story and characters from beginning to end! Not to mention it has a witch, a vampire, AND a wolf! What more could a girl possibly need, right?!

So where to start with the characters?! They have been perfectly developed into complex, intriguing, and lovable characters. But I have to say my favourite character has to be Divina... The fact she wont yie

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I usually don't read about prophecy since I read so many before, but I am glad that I went against that rule. I love the Divina character regardless of what she is going through. The broody men in this series kind of make me laugh. Always either all in or fighting against or not believing it is not even possible. There is just enough action and conflict to keep me turning the pages. I got so involved in the story that I did not even kn ...more

I can’t believe this is this author’s debut book! This author writes a captivating story that sucks you into a world where the paranormal reign with witches, vampires and werewolves. This book lays the groundwork for the trilogy. The book is fast-paced and steamy and I loved every minute of it. The mystery of the Prophecy is being slowly revealed but not all the way yet. Divina, a Ember Witch, is following her own path screw the Prophecy. She is stuck between Rori the vampire and Aric

This was a very interesting first book to this series! I cant wait to find out what happens next because it does end in a cliffhanger. I both love and hate cliffhanger endings. Love them because I know the story hasn't ended and I get more. And hate them because I'll admit I hate waiting to find out what is going to happen! Lol

I liked Divina because she is a super strong heroine. And I liked both Hero's for their differences and how they both want Divina. I am curious as to how things are going

This is a bit of a tough one for me. I had a hard time connecting with the characters and storyline. I didn’t dislike it, but I did struggle a bit to keep going. I think it has potential and would like to see where it could go.

Full review to come!
Full disclosure: Received an ARC from Romance Rehab/Romance Remedy free of charge.
I hate writing negative reviews, especially for books that don't have many ratings, but unfortunately I really struggled with this one. I didn't find any of the characters particularly likeable and it took me 25 days to read a 250 page novel because I had to force myself to pick it back up every time I put it down.

I think I just didn't gel with the author's writing style so don't let me put you off trying it but I can't give it a higher rating because it came very, very close to being a DNF book
