Skimmed about 1/3 of the book while car in for service at Ford dealer. Book apparently given to Ford employees is better than many company-produced PR projects. Deals frankly with the prejudices of Henry Ford and company problems over the years. Lots of very interesting material and illustrations. Hope it's still there next time I need service! Or I'd buy it if available at a thrift store or garage sale!

July 17, 2018. Back in for oil change, back to this book. Reading in chapter two, “risks and rewards” about history of the company. Page 111

April 2019: Well, I lied, or at least had a change of heart — found nice copy at thrift store but passed — just seemed too big and bulky — I’m out of places for books this size!

June 2019: looks like I won’t be reading this any more. Back to car dealer but book AWOL, or at least without leave from me. But I was smart enough to bring my own book to read.
