I might be a little bias, but I love her books! This one was so timely with the moral of the story. Bypassing someone without considering the reason for their mistakes is something we do all the time. But no diamond looks like a diamond until you start digging. The back and forth between Abby and Colin is so charming. I loved how both characters realize that they had drifted away from God and both were able to discuss it together. If I wanted a relationship, this book has the elements I would ...more

Bad blind date gone very well. Cute read!

Have you ever met anyone who is very calm, quiet, shy, unassuming, very down to Earth, soft spoken, etc.? Then have you ever realized upon getting to know them that they are not at all what you expected them to be like once you did truly get to know them?

That is a great way to sum up the meeting and ensuing relationship between Abby and Colin in this book. Abby is definitely a more outspoken character, in a good way. She's had some struggles in her life with relationships. Especially with her
I went into this one with high hopes, because I really enjoyed the previous installment in the series! Unfortunately, it fell a little flat for me.

I absolutely hated how much of a doormat Abby was! I honestly could not understand why any woman would wait 10 flippin' years for the one, and couldn't see that he was using her! Then when she starts dating someone else, then he finally "realizes" that he loves Abby? Totally didn't believe it! Colin was such an endearing guy through all of this. He

What a Beautiful Romance

This was beautiful romance about second chances and God's love.
I loved the storyline and the amazing characters.
I recommend this book to those who love Christian romance.

There probably are very few of us who have not had a dating disaster, blind or otherwise. In this story of a dating disaster our two main characters will approach their blind date with the wrong mind set. Abby has crushed on Nick waiting for him to realize she is the one for him. Colin, Abby’s blind date, is shy and lacking in confidence where interacting with a woman is involved.

Abby, has a bubbly personality, is kind hearted, and has been waiting ten years for “the one” – Nick. She is

Abby is a 35 year old single woman with a crush on Nick who has her solidly in friend mode and uses her shamelessly. When she read an article about making sure her 'friend' knows she has other options, she convinces her crafting friend to set up a blind date for her with her single boss science professor. When handsome Colin meets her for lunch, it is one disaster after another, until she finally excuses herself. But when Colin has experiences that convince him he needs to work on his ...more

This was a sweet story about two people finding themselves with God and with each other. Abby always went for the wrong guys, but as she turned herself over to God she was able to realize what was wrong and what she really wanted. Poor Colin gave a terrible first impression, but thankfully was stubborn enough to get a second chance to prove himself. I could relate to Colin a little. I'm not as socially awkward as he was, but I am very shy and it takes a while for me to warm up to people and be ...more

Evangeline did an absolutely beautiful job bringing out all of my emotions in this heartwarming and gut wretching read. So many things to happen in just a short time. Grab your tissue when you pick up your copy cause trust me, you're going to cry. No way around it. The characters were awe inspiring and full of life after having different issues and heartbeat to deal with. I really loved following the characters along as I witnessed their personalities bloom and blend

Sometimes simple is good. He was reserved and shy and covered his discomfort by being abrasive and unemotional. She was lively and bubbly and stuck on a guy that just wanted to take advantage of her being stuck on him. It's an interesting read played out in a manner that at times became tedious and drawn out but not in a bad way. The story is a sweet read that will keep you hoping she will get a clue and that he would open up and not be such a stick in the mud. He wants to keep her around and ...more

I am really enjoying this series.

This one wasn't as hilarious as the first one, Blind Date with a Blue-Collar Billionaire, but it does have it's lighter moments and some very poignant moments.

Colin is a professor at the University and he studies mushrooms and other fungi. Abby is an artist, a rather free spirit. She has had a crush on Nick for ten years and has finally gotten a bit tired of being overlooked by him. Her best friend sets her up on a blind date with Colin, whom she works for, and

Blind Date with a Billionaire Professor....

“Brains doesn’t cut it”...... at least that’s what came to mind as I read this story.
Collin is a good looking successful professor who can capture the attention of a packed auditorium..... but is introverted and awkward when having a “one on one” encounter with women. Abby on the other hand is a free spirit and talented artist who has many insecurities due to a neglected childhood. A beautiful relationship develops between them both when they decide to

Loved this beautiful novel by Evangeline Kelly! It was well written, interesting, and very swoon-worthy. This novel centres around Abby and Colin. They end up having a disastrous blind date, but continue to be friends. As they continue to spend time together, their feelings develop, and then... well, you have to read it to find out!

I loved Abby and Colin! Abby was so adorable and quirky, you can't help but smile when you read about her. Colin was also super cute! He might look mysterious and

Rough start

It was almost painful to read how naive Abby was in regards to Nick. And it was sad that she put her life on hold for that guy. (It's one thing to remain single because the Lord calls you to it. It's another to be single because you're waiting for YOUR choice to wake up.)
Colin was also hard to read at first but his situation was more self preservation mode. He definitely had to put the work in to overcome his insecurities. But the Lord did a work in both of them. Showing Abby to

This was a great book. I got pulled in and had a hard time putting it down. I loved the characters and how they grew throughout the story. Abby is an artist and it oozes from her in how she lives her life. Her past and lack of support from her family has helped make her who she is. She finds her identity in Christ. I enjoyed reading about her journey. Colin has hurts from his past as well that makes him scared to trust in anyone or any relationships. Colin is extremely shy and it makes for a ...more

A lovely opposites attract romance! The beginning of the story reminded me of one of my favorite Hallmark movies "How to Fall in Love" so I was hooked from the moment Colin asked Abby for help.

Abby's 1st date with socially awkward Colin was definitely cringeworthy, and her crush on Nick made me want to slap some sense into her, but the direction it takes from there is so sweet and uplifting that I didn't want to stop reading.

There's a moment near the end when something fairly

A fantastic, captivating story about Abby a woman trying to finally move on with her life and get over her crush of 10 years ad Collin a man trying to overcome his awkwardness of speaking with women and dating. What starts off as helping and teaching soon turns into the type of love both Collin and Abby are both looking for. Filled with heartache, doubts, fear, insecurities, faith and love in Heavenly Father, laughter, and a forever type of love. This is a story full of spiritual messages and ...more

Love at First Sight

Colin and Abby started on the wrong foot on their Blind Date. Each had baggage that needed healing and only God could do that. What a wonderful love storey! A good movie is only as good as the writer and oh how true that is of a book! Evangeline knocked this series out of the park. Thank you for reminding us that love is patient and kind, does not envy or boast, is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in

Full of HEART!

I can't remember if I got this first free. I'm glad it is in my possession. This book brought out what is the true meaning behind real love. The stress, second guessing, adventure, prayer and finding what's real. I think the scriptures are strategically placed to emphasize the heart in which the word was written. I loved that both Abby and Collin were able to speak openly about their beliefs and used the same method to help them work their insecurities out. I like that this book

One very socially awkward professor, Colin. and a fun loving artist, Abby, what have they in common? After their first disastrous date it seems not much. But Colin wants to see Abby again so he asks her to help him to be less awkward during dates. She accepts and they get to know each other better. Will their ‘just friends’ state ever be more?
This is a great story with a strong Christian theme that I really loved. Looking forward to read more in this series.

This was just okay. It felt eerily similar to the date Sheldon and Penny had on The Big Bang Theory. Both main characters were Christians, but it was too much. I don't mind that they were Christians and occasionally prayed, but when your characters start doing bible study and continually keep quoting scripture and then interpreting it, it's TOO MUCH. I downgraded my review based on the fact it turned me off so much I started skimming over those sections in the book. Advice: Either tone it down ...more

This is a very good series.

The professor is an introvert. Communicating with people is very hard for him so when he has a date with Abby, well, he blows it and Abby walks away saying "Thanks, but no thanks."

Colin doesn't want this chance to end so he devises a plan to be able to spend some time with her - get her to teach him how to fix the mistakes that he made on their date so he won't make the same mistakes on another date.

Well, we all know what ends up happening with that plan! LOL!

Blind Date with a Billionaire Professor is one of the most enjoyable books that I have in a while. I figured it would be a good book because of the author, but I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, I started the book before I went to bed and stayed up most of the night reading it. This book is well written and filled with quirky characters. I went from laughing to feeling sorry for the Professor to thinking atta-boy Professor. Who would have thought that mushrooms would be so intriguing? ...more

Can a disastrous blind date become a successful friendship or more? I thought Abby didn't really give Colin a shot but liked how she was willing to help him out. Colin was such a sweet guy and I loved how he "pursued" Abby. She has thought her best friend Nick was the one for the past 10 years. I kept wondering how Nick could be a Christian and a player - didn't like him at all. There were some bumps in the road but Abby and Colin with some encouraged managed to straighten them out. A really ...more

I’ve been reading a lot of good books lately, but have to say this has been one of the best! When I can’t stop reading at night until way too late in the morning, then can’t stop thinking about the characters, what has happened and what might happen. That’s a book that’s gotten inside me. And when their scripture study improves both them and me, then that’s a book that has truly been worth my time to read! Who knew you could have scripture study mixed with romance and personal growth?! This book ...more

Ms. Kelly has knocked another one out of the park! This is a wonderful clean romance between two wounded people, Colin and Abbey. They start out on the wrong foot but Colin persevere and in the end it was worth it all. I loved reading as their relationship developed. There were times I groaned at Colin’s awkwardness and Abbey’s denying her feelings! Then I would laugh at the next moment! I would recommend this book to anyone of any age who enjoys a sweet clean romance. I was gifted a copy of ...more

Evangeline Kelly is the pen name I use to write contemporary Christian romance books. When I was a kid, I had two dreams. One was to work with at risk youth and the other was to write books. After pursuing my passion of working with foster children for over twenty years, I finally decided to pursue my childhood dream of writing.

I love a good book that draws you in and takes hold of your heart.
