But as chapter one begins, Curtis is getting ready to be wed. But then it doesn't happen... This leads billionaire Folsom to threaten base camp in the worst ultimatum ever. A SEALS Resolve: SEALS of Chance Creek Book 6 is by Cora Seaton. This is a wonderful continuation of the story of the men of Chance Creek. It keeps the energy of the experiment going and doesnt let it get boring. It is one of the better books in the series. Boone Rudman had the idea of building a community that was totally sustainable on its own. Convinced ten other Navy SEALS to help him in this endeavor. Found land in Montana; but found it was owned by someone who wouldnt sell. She agreed to ...more

Thank you for this ARC.
A group of retired Navy Seals decides to build an environmentally sustainable community. To gather the money necessary they accept to participate in a reality television show funded by an eccentric billionaire. The men have to marry, within a year and produce at least three children. To decide whose turn it is to be married, they draw straws.
They share the land with a group of women who manage a Regency themed

Ex-Navy SEAL Curtis Lloyd had the worst luck at the alter; first he was left standing when his high school sweetheart didn't appear, then his first bride at Base Camp choose another Navy SEAL and this final time his bride-to-be married her maid of honor instead of him. He still only had what was left of his forty days to find another bride and he wanted a woman he could love and build a home and family with and not just anyone. To top off his problem, Montana was having the blizzard of the ...more
Having been left at the altar twice, Curtis is in need of a happy ending and hopefully love. Unfortunately, under the terms of the reality show the men are all on, Curtis needs to marry in four days. Not much time to find a bride let alone love. Good thing there is a matchmaker in the area ready to help out Curtis and her best friend Hope.

Like the other books in this series, this was a fun contemporary romance that pulled me in immediately. Although this one was not set in Chance Creek so there

Terrific romance. Its Curtis turn to marry but with less than a week to go hes coming up short. Then a Montana blizzard hits. Can he find a bride before the deadline?
Great plot (and different from earlier ones), wonderful dialogue, and fascinating characters.

Canadian author Cora Seton, formerly from California, lives the life of a farmer and has created a series of books whose main characters are cowboys and military men especially the Navy SEALs. She has created the imaginary Chance Creek, Montana for her locale, suggesting that she focuses on the pleasures of country life also. Cora is a USA Today and NYT Times bestselling author. She writes in series The Heroes

This is an OK romance, but I thought that Hope acted really immature for her age. Curtis was better, but his actions were not that of a man who had been a Navy SEAL for years -- he just didn't seem to understand that his plans for a sudden marriage would shock Hope, and possibly alienate her.

It really bothered me that Curtis didn't tell Hope right away that he wanted to marry her in a few days. He just assumed he could get her to fall in love with him that fast, which was ridiculous. Then, when
Wish Granted!!!

Curtis Lloyd had been ready to marry for a while now. He has been left twice by his brides to be but when mother nature gave him an opportunity to find his own bride he took it.

A bride to be and her bridesmaid crashed their car outside of Base Camp during a snowstorm. He made it his mission to help them now he had to get them to the wedding in Bozeman, no matter what.

Hope Martin, a bridemaid who felt like she was losing the one person who kept her grounded, her best-friend, Raina.

I think this is now my favorite so far in this series.

Curtis has lost out on brides twice, this second time leaves him with only 5 days to find another bride and there's a blizzard on the way. As the snow begins to fall he starts to think there's no hope and it will be his fault they lose everything they've worked so hard for.

While Curtis is being left at the alter another Bride is preparing to leave Illinois to travel to Bozeman, Montana for her wedding. Raina didn't want to leave her job until

Ms. Seton continues to capture my heart with this series! Not only does she "tell you a story", but she makes you feel like you are a part of it, right there at the core of the lives of her characters. The Seals of Chance Creek series feels more and more like a small town or community, bound together by a mutual interest in not only the land, but the lifestyle also. With the women from the B & B, along with the men trying so desperately to make the "sustainable living" Base Camp a reality, ...more

There was something about this story that just made me fall in love with Curtis Lloyd. He'd been left at the altar twice and had such a short time to find a bride so Fulsom wouldn't take their hard work right out from under them and sell the land to a ruthless man who planned to do something completely new and different with it but something that would mock the entire reason these servicemen had come together to build this sustainable community.

This is the 6th book in the series. It would be better if you read all the prior books in the series before this one due to the ongoing plot and characters.

If you want to know what the book is about, please read the blurb above the reviews.

The plot was an interesting one. I have to admit when I started this series, I thought it would be interesting but the whole reality TV part of this is starting to get on my nerves. The story revolves around that rather than the story or characters. I've

This is book six of this series and is Curtis Lloyd and Hope Martin's story.

Curtis is next in line to get married and is left at the alter with only 5 days left to find a bride and make her his wife.
Hope Martin stumbles (with some help from her best friend) into Curtis's life full of fire and a planner which Curtis quickly changes for the rest of the day. She certainly isn't going to be able to do the things she has listed but he has some other things in mind and one of them is how to convince

This series is still going strong!

I am so happy that Curtis finally gets his chance. This story is different, as it takes place primarily outside of Base Camp! However, Hope and Raina are good additions. Raina is supposed to get married in a few days and her best friend/maid of honor Hope has promised the groom.that they will be there on time. Unfortunately, the blizzard of the century is coming in strong. Since Curtis likes Hope right away, he agrees to get them to Bozeman on time as a way to

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Once again Cora hit it out of the park! Now this latest in the series is about Curtis and Hope. Curtis has struck out twice and the last one was one heck of a crazy mess that I was holding my side from laughing because even I didn't see that coming. With that incident occurring he only has less than a week to get hitched.

Now here comes Hope and her bestie Raina making one hell of an entry into Base Camp. That also leaves them stranded with no

This is the sixth book in the series and it's the turn of Curtis.
The men of Base Camp are all ex-seals who are trying to establish a sustainable community. To enable them to do this, they had to agree to being part of a reality show, with certain rules.
One such rules was that there had to be a wedding every 40 days ! This time it's the turn of Curtis.
Curtis had been left at the altar when he was a teenager, so was apprehensive in trying again, but he would for the same of the community.

A SEAL's Resolve by Cora Seton is book six in her SEALs of Chance Creek Series. The stories are interconnected, but every book is about another couple and can easily be read as standalone.

A SEAL's Resolve is Curtis Lloyd and Hope's story. Curtis is one of the men from base camp, part of a TV Show and more than ready to marry. But he was left two times already at the altar and he's weary, understandable. Now he needs a new bride asap and with a little convincing from friends his future bride,

Determined. Curtis is determined. Very determined. Hes determined to do all that he can for Base Camp. Hes a carpenter building the tiny houses. Hes determined to get Raina to her wedding on time. I mean, whats a little blizzard between friends? And hes determined to get married within his 40 days even though his agreed upon bride ditched him for her assistant. And now hes determined to marry Hope even though hes only known her for an incredibly short time. Hope might have other ideas, though! ...more

U.S. Navy Seal Curtis Lloyd's turn--Will Hope be the one?
This is another fun and completed story about Curtis and his efforts to keep their sustainable community going by meeting certain requirements to be gifted the land at the end of the season on Base Camp, a reality TV show. For his part he builds tiny houses. Now, he must step up as he drew the short straw and has only 40 days to marry. Harris "stole" the last bride intended for him and he is in search of his own. I have to admit, that I didnt like Curtis Lloyd very much when I read A Seala Pledge and he acted so terribly to Harris Hawk Wentworth and tried to woo Samantha away from him. Although he has proven himself a hard worker and contributes to the sustainable community, I had my reservations about him. But in this telling of his story, I found that I had a lot more sympathy for him and ended up cheering him on as he vied for the affections of Hope. A Seal's Resolve

WOW! What a FANTASTIC story! I had to force myself to put the book down to do the things I needed to do. The story is about Curtis. The beginning was sad as he was left at the altar once again. Now Hope enters the picture when her best friend, Raina decided that Hope and Curtis were perfect for each other. It was interesting as the story continues that a blizzard puts everything in a holding pattern. Raina needed to get to Bozeman to marry her man but along the way, Curtis picks

Curtis is smart, handsome, a talented carpenter, humorous and unlucky in love. Finding Hope a determined woman who has her future planned requires Curtis to convince Hope he is her future. Facing a horrendous blizzard on the way to a pending, important wedding of Hope's best friend, Curtis does his best to prove his devotion, steadfastness and that Hope can trust him. Will Curtis finally get to say I Do or will he yet again be left at the altar.

All Hope wants to do is get her best friend to her wedding no matter how bad a snow storm they have to face.

Book 6 and I am still loving this series which is really no surprise Cora Seton has never written a book I didn't fall head over heels for.

It has been worth the wait to read Curtis's story but then Hope led in on such a merry chase I did start to wonder if he would ever get his HEA.........

This has to be my favourite couple of this series so far! I've loved them all but there is just something so endearing about Curtis and Hope that had me putting off all work and turning the pages, until I had finished! This book gave me all the feels, sorrow for Curtis, he's really been through it in previous relationships, anger, Fulsom is not a good man, joy that Curtis and Hope are falling for each other and all will be saved, suspense what's going to happen to this poor group of people next, ...more

I like Curtis. I like Hope and her bestie Raina. I love the plot twist at the start when Curtis bride #3 ends up marrying her female assistant.

I dont love the story. Its ridiculous that they all set out to get Raina to her wedding in a blizzard. They get through every obstacle with no one freezing, they pick up kittens and their cameraman along the way, and its too silly.

The rich guy Blake serves no purpose in this story, unless he returns in another book. He even attends Rainas wedding,
