Fighting For Our Forever

Rate this book
The members of Sinful Distraction are living their best life as they travel around the country on the heels of 4225 West’s sold-out tour. Unfortunately for drummer, Ajay Ballard, that means a stop at the county jail after he’s arrested for an outstanding warrant – one he didn’t even know about. With an overzealous judge, Ajay’s forced to hang out in his hometown longer than anticipated.

While the town folk aren’t exactly rolling out the red carpet for him, Quinn, Elle and the rest of Sinful Distraction are warmly welcomed into the fold.

Some never get over their first love while some just can’t erase the memories. Jameson Foster falls somewhere in the middle. She’s done her best to let the past stay in the past...until she’s forced to save the one man who ruined her.

Fighting For Our Forever is the fourth book in the Beaumont Series - Next Generation series by Heidi McLaughlin. I’ve read all four books in this series and I have to say, this one is my most absolute favorite! So much sweetness!!!

One thing I appreciate about Heidi McLaughlin’s writing and storytelling is the fact that she focuses more on the relationship and how it plays out and less on the sexy time scenes. Sometimes I’m in the mood for and crave a really sweet and innocent romance and this one couldn’t have came at a better time for me.

About Fighting For Our Forever:

Fighting For Our Forever is told in Ajay Ballard & Jameson (Whiskey) Foster’s point of views.

Ajay and Whiskey were childhood sweethearts who shared every first with each other. First crush, first love, first heartbreak and so many more in between firsts. But after a traumatic even takes place in their lives Ajay decides he needs to reach for his dreams of becoming a drummer in a big name band. Finally after years of being a starving artist Ajay’s finally made it big with his band Sinful Distraction. Opening up for one of the hottest band’s in the rock industry, 4225 West, is a dream he never thought he’d live. But when his past comes barreling back into his life in the form of an angry sheriff who also happens to be his ex father in law, with a pair of handcuffs and a warrant for his arrest, he finally comes to the conclusion that your past doesn’t always stay buried.

Jameson ‘Whiskey’ Foster lost it all when she lost her first love to music. Now she lives her life for her five year old daughter and thrives on being the best bar manager she can be. With a team of friends and family around her, she’s finally starting to become the person she used to be before Ajay left her in the dust. Now when she finally feels she can breath again, trouble comes marching back into her life and he’s demanding answers.

My Thoughts:

This book definitely made me a fan for life! I can’t get over how many feels this book brought out of me in just 277 pages! I laughed, I seethed, and I may have shed a tear or two. This book touched my heart and immediately captured my soul. It still amazes me how an author can pull so much out of a reader with words. I’m still sitting over here thinking about Fighting For Our Forever.

Jameson ‘Whiskey’ Foster became one of my favorite Heidi McLaughlin characters in just a few short pages. I admired her strength and her willingness to change her way to make a better life for her daughter. She’s the definition of strength after total heartbreak.

I also loved Ajay. Usually given a novel where one leaves the other behind to follow their dreams I’m rooting for the one that got left in the dust. But there was no enemy in this novel. He left her to bring them a better life, but obstacles got in their way and people got in their heads causing them to go their own ways. My heart broke….. Legit Broke. If their is any couple in the romance novel world that deserves a happily ever after, these two are the deserving pair.

For fear of giving away spoilers I’m going to stop my review right now. I’m a lover of sweet romances. I’m also a lover of the true happily ever after. This book has all of that and so much more. I highly recommend Fighting For Our Forever to those who are searching for something they are unable to find.

I Love Heidi's writing. I only started reading her books recently, but I am addicted. I love that not only does she write fun and complex characters, but she can emotionally ground you page after page.

This might be a new binge trend for me. I now need all her novels.
But let us start with the fact that I LOVE band reads. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I read this one as a standalone, which you can, but I totally went back and grabbed all the rest now. Lol. SOOOO I would say buy the other 3.

Ajay and Jamie have a tremulous relationship and I was completely on board for. I love second chance romances, they are my jam. This one has some twists that I didn't see coming but nothing crazy that didn't fit the story. It was a second chance that I was 1000% rooting for and this author is absolute binge read emotionally.

I was really so so on this one for most of it, didn't really care for Jamie, she came off as spoiled to me. But the last third of the book is where things shone. I liked that both Ajay and Jamie had people around them that cared and pushed them, that when faced with a choice of life together again both reached for it. It made the ending all the better because they worked for it.

Then the sentence and divorce not filed....weird.

When Jameson's (Whiskey) first and only love comes back to town, she knows she'll eventually have to face the man who tore her heart into a million little pieces. But she'll put it off as long as she can because she really, really doesn't want to see him again.

Ajay has never gotten over his true love, his Whiskey. And it hurts even more knowing he's the one who broke her, who broke them, but he was doing what he thought was best for their situation when he let her go. Now that he's stuck in their hometown, thanks to her angry Sheriff father and a corrupt judge, he's rethinking things. Could they have a second chance? Will Whiskey save him just as he saved her all those years ago when he took the blame for something she did, the very thing that's causing him to be stuck in their small town again?

Fighting for our Forever is such an emotional second chance love story. I love how Ajay and Whiskey's story unfolds, crisscrossing between the past and the present, giving up little details slowly, showing the reader how they fell in love and how they came to be in the situation they're in now. And when they got back together, sigh...so heartbreaking and so beautiful. I haven't read the other stories in the Beaumont series, but now that I've read, and loved, this one, I plan on 1-clicking the whole series!

No sabía que continuabamos con los miembros de la banda, y me encanta seguir sabiendo de ellos. Esta me ha recordado mucho a cuando empecé con Beaumont, y por eso igual me ha gustado más.

Ajay is the drummer of Sinful Distraction, Quinn and Elle’s band.
Ajay met the love of his life as a child, which started as a friendship, when he reached adolescence it turns out in love, and this pair of lovers and crazy teenagers marry the day that Whiskey turns 18. But Whiskey is pregnant and that makes Ajay hit the road to find a job as a drummer to support his family. But in the end Ajay, after losing their child, he realizes that he is not going to be able to give her the life she deserves and they end up getting divorced, or so he believes since Whiskey never gets to sign the papers.
Years later, when the band bus passes near his hometown, the town sheriff, who is Whiskey´s father, put him in jail for a vandalism that he and Whiskey committed years ago against the judge’s house. When they call Whiskey to declare in front of the judge is when he finds out that they are still married. The judge orders them to remain married for 3 months, during which time they will be forced to see each other 3 times/week.
Ajay sees it as an opportunity to get back with the love of his life, while Whiskey is not so sure, she is afraid that Ajay will leaver her again. Also her life has changed a lot, she now has a daughter, Evelyn, and a “boyfriend “ Logan( fantastic man by the way) to think about. Although her heart and body tell her to give him an opportunity since she was never stopped loving her husband.
WONDERFUL STORY.

“Jamie…” The tone in his voice tells me all I need to know. My marriage is over. I reach into my bag, now thankful that my father forced me to see an attorney. I refused to believe Ajay would do this to me, to us. Not with our history. Not after we… not ever. I hand the papers to him. “Sign these.” “What are they?” “Divorce papers.”“This is for the best, Whiskey girl. I love you,” he says as he leaves me standing in the alley. The only noise I can make out is the slamming of the door behind me.

“You and Mr. Ballard have been divorced for seven years.”“Like I said, I invoke spousal privilege because Ajay Ballard and I are still married.”

“After due diligence by our esteemed clerk, it has been determined that Ajay Ballard and Jameson Foster are indeed still married.” “Great, I’d like to file the petition to have our divorce finalized,” I say to Harvey. He huffs and continues speaking, “After a meeting with a lawyer in our family division, it’s also been determined that due to the circumstances surrounding your current situation, Ms. Foster, in conjunction with Mr. Ballard’s financial status, the law precludes me from granting a divorce without filing new paperwork. As much as I’d love to see the both of you pay for your crimes behind bars, I feel this is going to be punishment enough: For the next ninety-days you will stay married and spend at least three days together each week. Mr. Ballard, you’re allowed to travel with your group, however, I suggest you make your schedule amenable to this sentencing. Ms. Foster, you will accept the terms of Mr. Ballard’s schedule, provided it falls in line with my sentencing, and see to it that yours does as well. You will both appear before me at the end of your sentence and at your request I will sign off on your divorce. Until then, you’re a married couple and your lawyers can figure out the rest.”“What just happened?” I ask anyone who can hear me. “Looks like you’re still my wife.” The fuck I am,” I say, storming out of the courtroom.

“Like I said, I’m not coming back.” “Why not?” “Whiskey…”“You’re the one who said you wanted to be my husband.” She throws my words right back at me. “You’re right, I did. I was letting my heart get ahead of the bigger picture. I wish I could say that you having a daughter doesn’t change things, but it does. I’m not going to ask you to uproot your life… her life… to accommodate mine. We aren’t kids anymore. We have responsibilities. You have a little human that depends on you, and I’m not going to get in the way of that. I love you, Whiskey. I always have and I always will, but my life is there. Yours is here. I’m not going to ask you to give it up for me. I did that once and look at how things turned out for us.” “We were young,” she says. “I could’ve fought harder.”“I love you, Whiskey Girl.” “Then stay,” she whispers into my ear. “I can’t.”

“For us. For Evelyn. I know I said before I left that I won’t ask you to uproot your life and interrupt hers, but I want you here. I know I’m not her dad, but I want to be, and I want us to be husband and wife… maybe even expand our family someday if that’s something you would want.”

I enjoyed Fighting for Our Forever by Heidi McLaughlin for the most part. As a second-chance love trope, it maintained my interest and the characters, especially Ajay as a non-egotistical rock star, and Evelyn as Jameson’s daughter, were particularly good. I also have to admit that I loved Logan, Jameson’s boyfriend, an upstanding Marine who gets shipped out and who Evelyn adores. I am on the fence regarding Jamie.

This is just the pleasant kind of romance that you can see yourself reading at the beach, with just the right amount of drama and fun. The setting was nice, being the coast of NC, one of my favorites.

I was all set to give it four stars when, three-quarters of the way through, when it seems as if everything has been decided and that the book should be winding down, it continued and a bad thing happened: I grew bored and a little frustrated. While I would love to say that the grand gesture at the end made up for it all, it almost came close, but not quite. Pacing matters, at least to me.

Because I hadn’t read the previous novels in the serious, I also encountered the 20-name syndrome in which all characters from the previous novels show up and I should care, but I don’t and then I stop paying attention to the names or trying to figure out who is who or what or why, especially when there are names that are unisex and I mix them up and throw my hands into the air and have a completely “why bother” moment.

Fighting for Our Forever is definitely for fans of the series and other romance readers who don’t mind popping up in the middle of a series. Admittedly, my feelings would probably shift if I had read the other novels in the series, so if you want to read this one, you might consider reading the others first.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Fighting For Our Forever is a great read! Heidi is one of my one click authors so I went into this not knowing much about the story and I totally loved it. Fighting For Our Forever is now my favorite book by Heidi. Fighting For Our Forever is book 4 in the Beaumont: Next Generation series. I have read all the books in the Beaumont: Next Generation series but I think you would be okay reading this one as a standalone.

Ajay is the drummer for Sinful Distraction and they are touring with 4225 West. This is a great opportunity for him and his band but his past comes back and to cause problems. When traveling through his home town, he gets arrested for an outstanding warrant. Ajay left town and the love of his life, Jamie, years ago and now he's stuck in town and has to figure things out. Ajay is a great character and I was so rooting for him to get his girl back. Jamie and Ajay's paths cross each others again when he's in town in an interesting way. There are ups and downs and I was surprised at some points too. I really liked this one and it's definitely one you should check out.

Fighting for our Forever was a fun, second chance at love story. I absolutely loved these characters and was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what had happened between them to cause them each so much pain.

Jamie and Ajay were high school sweethearts. Ajay had dreams to make it big in the music industry and Jamie was right there to support him. When life doesn't go as planned the two of them end up going their separate ways but both are always thinking about the one that got away.

Now, years later, Ajay is unexpectedly forced to come back to town and emotions run high when he and Jamie come face to face. There is so much amazing chemistry between these characters that I could truly feel their connection. Although there there are some heartbreaking moments that are also some beautiful ones between them as well.

This book definitely had me feeling all the feels. There were also some pretty surprising moments I never saw coming which really kept me on my toes from start to finish.

A must read book for sure! - By Alisa

Enjoyable read

I enjoyed reading Ajay and Jamie's story. Ajay is the drummer for the band Sinful Distraction. He's arrested after crossing the county line of his home town after a concert. While going before the judge, he discovers that he is still married to the love of his life. The sentence that is passed is a way to see if things can be worked out. However, Ajay doesn't realize that it's not going to be as easy as he thought because of someone else who is in Jamie's life. Meanwhile, Jamie is wondering if she can make it work regardless of everything they have to conquer. I would like to see Hendrix and Dana get their own book.

This was a sweet and romantic second chance romance to pull on the heart strings. Heidi weaves a little of the past with the present to give us Ajay and Whiskey’s love story. Their story is a journey filled with bumps along the way but it’s a journey you’ll want to take. This story is filled with humor and romance and lots of 4225 West clan moments to warm the heart.

In general all of these next gens were much tamer and very floofy (just telling an over-the-top money-is-no-problem dream scenario). This particular book was not what I was hoping for: AJ is extemporaneous. I was thinking these were all going to be the first band’s kids getting their HEA so I was looking forward to Jimmie’a daughter or fast forward several years to see Mac/Betty Paige resolving their situation. If we’re headed off into the new band then what about Keane or Hendricks?

The unbelievability and how fantasy-life these have been is really distracting for me. I’m perhaps getting too aged and cynical for these new age romances. A judge wielding that much power is an egregious abuse. And how exactly does one FORGET they didn’t file their divorce papers? A more plausible explanation would have been finding a clerk screwed up somehow instead. The whole scenario was a bit eye-roll inducing. And then we’re gonna break our contract but the judge who was that vindictive to begin with isn’t going to ALSO come after us for that and hold our feet to the fire? What a glaring inconsistency. And then we’ll get the moms to do all the last minute surprise work (find me a house, shop it and set it all up in the days before she gets here, set up this Disney trip, op and then don’t forget the perfect wedding!). And within DAYS of seeing each other again we’ll rush back into the relationship and wisk this kid along giving her NO adjustment period. And just everyone’s perfectly changed and grown...no therapy needed to make sure we don’t repeat how bad the relationship was for us the first time. We threw enough money at it so we’re all good! I like my fantasies to have SOME plausibility.

I can't love Whiskey (Jamie is her real name) & Ajay's story enough.

Fighting For Our Forever is a must read. Heidi's writing pulls you into whiskey and Ajay's world and makes you feel like you are part of their story. Their story has you feeling every emotion and the twists keep you on the edge of your seat.

I am so happy that their love got a second despite everything they went through separately and together.

Thank you Heidi for this beautiful second chance at love story and for keeping the Beaumont Next Generation alive.

Solid read, but could’ve used more fleshing out imo....

The heroes make shift family accepts the heroine super easily, and he goes hot and cold a few times with out enough explanation. Him changing his mind, deciding yes he does want to try things with theheroine seemingly came out of nowhere.

The totally brilliant & amazing Heidi McLaughlin is one of my favorite authors, so I never read the blurbs of her books before I read them anymore, which means that I had no idea what or who Fighting For Our Forever was about, just knew I would be wrecked, and love it. Of course, I wasn't disappointed in Whiskey & Ajay's story, as I was completely wrecked, and totally in love! They met when they were kids, fell in love, were together, then life's choices happened and hearts were broken. Neither got over the other, and years later, both had scars, while Whiskey hated him when he came back to town with he band Sinful Distraction, as he's the drummer. This is the part where twists started coming out from every direction to punch me in the face, and flipped my f-bomb dropping switch to on. Yet, in these twists, there was a certain amount of chaotic humor in some of them as well, so while my eyes were trying to leak, I found myself laughing as well. Obviously there was a big time amount of very interesting/colorful cast of secondaries with many from previous stories (which is something that I really love about Ms. McLaughlin's books because I love seeing my beloved friends in present time) & new awesome/crazy weirdos added in. This story is second chance love at it's very best, so don't delay, just one click it NOW, as you can NEVER EVER go wrong with this absolutely FANTASTIC author! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Fighting for Our Forever is a feelgood second chance story.
I'm a sucker for second chances and if there was ever a couple deserving of it it would be Ajay and Jameson.
High school sweethearts whose lives went in different directions, well one of them anyway, their relationship ended badly.
When Ajay returns to his hometown both of their worlds are going to be rocked.
Jameson has secrets an oddly enough a secret she inadvertently kept from herself that affects Ajay as well.
Her life hasn't been a bed of roses since he left but she's made a life for herself even if it's not with the man who owns her heart.
Ajay's life has gone fairly well, he's making a career out of what he loves, has found the family he never had but never has moved on from his first love.
He regrets the way he treated her in the past but never expects that she'd forgive him.
When they're forced to spend time together secrets and feelings come to light, Ajay wants her back but she won't make it easy on him!!

I loved this book, read it a ton faster than I expected because I just couldn't put it down.
It's the 4th in the Beaumont: Next Generation series, and while I believe it can be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading the Beaumont series and the Next Generation series in order, they are just too good not to!

It’s always great to see Liam, Harrison and Katelyn. And Liam and Harrison are always funny by this book is about Ajay and Jamie and Evelyn. This is sort of like Liam’s story but different.
Evelyn is the cutest, she’s like a little adult.
I loved how Ajay calls Jamie, Whiskey. He’s the only one that calls her that.
I love the little glimpse into the past we got and why Ajay and Jamie are where they are when they see each other again. Ajay has loved Whiskey for so long and so much that he had to leave her behind. But they both have had their share of hard times.
I love how Jamie came up with the ideas when they were teenagers and Ajay was thought to be the bad influence on her. Ajay loved Jamie so much he didn’t care if he had to take the blame for her.
I loved this book. I love how gutsy Jamie is. She’s a rebellious and mouthy. She has her fears and they are understandable just like Ajay has his.
I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Fighting For Our Forever was a wonderfully written second chance romance. It was a sweet story that tugged at my heart strings. Ajay and Jameson were made for each other if only they can find their way back to each other.

When they were younger Ajay and Jameson were inseparable they started out as the best of friends but that soon turned into more. Ajay had a dream of pursuing a music career and when he left Jameson behind and headed to Nashville with the promise of returning to her in just a few weeks life began to spiral out of control forcing them apart for good. A few years later and their paths are about to cross forcing them to spend time together can they both finally be honest with each other and grabbed this second chance with both hands.

This is a fantastic read and my favourite so far of the next generation series. I cannot recommend this author and series enough.

FIGHTING FOR OUR FOREVER brought back so many of the FOREVER MY GIRL feelings with the story of Ajay and Jameson (aka Whiskey) and it reminded me just why I love this series so much. It's the second chance love story that makes you believe true love is worth fighting for.

Ajay and Whiskey were childhood friends who experienced a young love that was so much more that both of them could handle. Wanting a better life for his love, Ajay sets out to make a name for himself with his music. Unfortunately, circumstances and time, and yes, some stubborness kept them apart.

What I loved:

*ALL of the scenes with Ajay and Whiskey's father (you do not want to cross this man)
*Whiskey - the character, not the drink
*Getting to read Whiskey and Ajay as teenagers. One of the flashback scenes is one of my favorite moments in the book and I want to share it here, but can't because of spoilers. It's definitely a laugh out loud moment.
*Seeing Ajay being accepted into the 4225 West fold and the connection that he has Quinn.
How reading FIGHTING FOR OUR FOREVER makes me want to read my most favorite books of this series

Favorite Lines
"Sometimes true love needs a little push in the right direction."

When a book makes your heart feel warm from the love the characters have for each other, you know that it is a true gem. That's what reading FIGHTING FOR OUR FOREVER feels like. I love these characters and this story. Ajay and Whiskey have joined the ranks of the Beaumont Couples and that's saying a lot.

Another great book in the series! I loved seeing the rest of the characters also in the book. The gang back together!

I loved Ajay’s story!! I was so excited to read the book when I heard about it.

Ajay and Whiskey were childhood sweethearts. They were from the small town and got married young. Ajay left to find work in the the town being a drummer. He eventually found work but didn’t come back to his hometown as he felt he had to make a living.

Meanwhile in his hometown Whisky grew up. To get over him she had a one night stand which resulted in her adorable daughter Evelyn.

Whiskeys dad mellowed out having a granddaughter although he was still the one to arrest Ajay!

My favourite cute moments was when Harrison and Katelyn ensured Evelyn had a cute day at Disney land. Then when Ajay went to apologise to the sheriff and to ask for his blessing!

It’s a really sweet book. I loved it! Now to see what other books are in the series!

Just when his career as a drummer in an up and coming band seems to be taking off, Ajay's past comes back to haunt him when his tour bus gets pulled over in his hometown and he is arrested on trumped up charges. Of course the father of the only woman he ever loved and lost just happens to be the sheriff. Will this sudden stay in the town he wanted to forget bring him and Jameson back together? Or will his Whiskey girl once again be put on the back burner to his career? And watch out for the truth about their divorce - you will never see it coming.... With beautifully written characters and a storyline that had me laughing out loud as well as wiping tears from my cheeks this book should not be missed. Once again Heidi McLaughlin creates a world filled will adorable characters the reader cannot help but fall in love with.

Ajay Ballard never imagined how hard it would be to walk away from Whiskey so long ago. In his mind, he'd been doing her a favor. She was better off without him. Imagine his surprise when he comes face-to-face with her once more. Despite the years, she's as beautiful as ever. Granted, she has secrets. So does he. Nevertheless, he'll do everything possible to make things work between them.

A bittersweet love story, we're presented with Ajay's plight. He's a man who's had to live with the decisions he made a long time ago. Granted, he's still pining for his wife. She's embedded deep within his heart. At times, he wishes he could erase those memories. Until the moment he lays eyes on her once more. It's then he realizes he can never let her go.

Fighting Our Forever is the first book I've read by Heidi McLaughlin. I confess it's hooked me to her style of writing. She injects so much feeling into her story that you feel everything the characters feel. Every up and down, the love, the pain, the heartache, the disappointments—they're all presented in such ways that you experience them first-hand with every turn of the page. I love the vivid pictures the author paints of the world her characters inhabit. Looking forward to diving into more of Heidi's books.

Whiskey Girl

I really fell for this second chance story and I especially enjoyed the characters. I absolutely love when an author is able to provide some of the backstory without taking away from the present story but providing the most beneficial information to paint the picture for the reader, that's how this story unfolds for me. Ajay and Jamie have so much history but it's full of heartache, pain and broken promises, I was really invested in their journey and was hoping these two would find a way to be together, just didn't expect it to happen the way it did. One of my favorite parts of this story is when Katelyn comes to town for the "trial", you can really feel her love and acceptance for Ajay and I enjoyed plenty of those moments throughout this story, it really was a beautiful journey.

Back in Quinn's book I guessed things were not over between Ajay and Jamie.
It seemed a little extreme that Jamie's father would be holding such a grudge years later that he'd orchestrate an elaborate arrest. Especially when it was his daughter that actually did the crime.
The forgotten to file divorce papers added an interesting dimension to their relationship.
I wasn't surprised there was a child, though it was refreshing that it wasn't a band members child.
It was slightly irritating how Ajay just took over and planned for Jamie and Evelyn to move in with him and adopt Evelyn. I feel he really should have discussed it with Jamie first.
The James family showed again why they are fantastic. Taking Ajay in and giving him family experiences seems like something they would do.
The wedding scene was beautiful and the vows were great, romance authors are fantastic at pulling heartstrings.

A perfect mix of drama and fun.
This is Book 4 in the Beaumont Series, the Next Generation. I had not read any of the other books in this series and I had no problem enjoying it as a standalone. There was a point where characters from previous books made cameo appearances but it didn’t take away from understanding the story.
The arriving was spot on and the characters were well developed and likable.
Heartfelt and heart wrenching Ajay and Jameson were high school sweethearts who went their separate ways after graduation.
When Ajay returns home he sees his ex again. Facing each other brings up secrets and unsettled feelings which bring forth an emotional roller coaster that made this read unputdownable and had me glued to the pages.

I love all the. Beaumont series. I love the way everyone is family and takes care of each other. Young love gone so wrong while trying to protect Whiskey from a hard life on the road while he was trying to make it in music broke their hearts for many years.
Thank goodness a father’s vengeance along with crooked judge brings Ajay to Bailey even though the band bus was just driving through.
A distraught and Broken hearted Whiskey never filed divorce papers and a judge not granting a divorce for 90 days throws Ajay and Whiskey together

There soulmate never ending love pulls them together and the realization they need each other and have saved each other from his lack if real family.
A great love story for 2 soulmates and a little girl.
I really loved this whole series.

This is one of those books that your heart cries for. Two people who have loved each other forever drift apart and you desperately want them to find their way back to each other. It’s more than a second chance read it’s an ever lasting love read.

Ajay and Jamie are wonderful characters, of course we know Ajay but Jamie and her cute as a button daughter Evelyn are new to us. Their love has spanned time and is still as strong as it was years before. Yes this book has tears and heartbreak but it also has smiles and unconditional love. This is one of my favorite series out there and these people....they are my family. Great read. Highly recommended it.
