Daryl plays with fire and gets burned by fate…

Former Primrose Pack member Jason Black happily accepted his role as beta in the new Regent’s Hill pack, knowing that merging the two was the best decision for everyone involved. Daryl Easton is loyal and honest but wary of change. The joining of the two packs wasn’t his preferred outcome, and he’s struggling to see all the

I can't believe this awesome series has come to an end. I am such a big fan and I'm really gonna miss this great world that the author created. To say I have read and loved each and every one of the books in this series would be a small lie...since I have skipped Bitten by Her, but other than that one, I did !!

I don't think it's smart to read these books as stand alones. You should really start at the beginning and get to know this world. You will be very confused if you just jump in somewhere i

This is not a standalone story. I've read all the books in this series except the fifth one (because F/F isn't my thing) and was still a little confused initially. There are just so many characters here and so much going on besides the romance.

While I liked Jason and Daryl, I wasn't super invested in their relationship. Daryl's fears weren't unfounded, but he wasn't fair to Jason. Fortunately, he realized this eventually (the back and forth went on a little too long though), and Jason got the ma

Bitten By Fate is the conclusion to the RPP series and a fitting one with the pack finally becoming whole again after all the upheaval of incorporating the Primrose pack.

I thoroughly enjoyed all the pack building exercises and seeing how they let old grievances go to once again become a fully integrated pack under Cam. Ms. Jacobs did a great job of involving some of the previous and beloved characters. Alec is and always will be my favorite and I loved his part in this story with his ubiquitous

I'm gutted that this will be the last Regent's Park Pack book but Annabelle goes out on a high with an action packed and tension filled romance between Daryl, who's been in the background since the start and his fellow beta Jason, one of the additions from the Primrose Park Pack.

Everything about this book just worked for me. I loved the idea of the pack bonding exercise providing the impetus for the potential mate bond to spark to life between Daryl and Jason.

I am so sad this series has come to its end, but it was the right time.
My favourite book in the series is still #3, but this one was pretty good. I liked the main characters a lot, specially Jason.
The plot was good, and this book gave a beautiful conclusion to the series. 😊

Seriously though, I am devastated that this ride has come to an end. This series has brought me incredible joy over the last few years. I’ve always held my shifter bar high into the sky and Jacobs soars over the top every time. She has the uncanny ability to bring the human and their wolf to the page with seamless perfection. I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate her execution and coalescence

I really enjoyed this, and could barely put it down, reading it in just a few short hours. In fact, knowing it’s the last one, I kept taking short breaks, to prolong the ending.

Much like his Alpha, Daryl wasn’t looking for a bond (or really wanting one), when close proximity and sex caused him to form one with Jason.

Will he continue to deny it, hurting Jason, or embrace it before it’s too late?

This was full of action, love, and betrayal. While I sort of understood his reasons, Daryl’s stubbor

Bitten by Fate, the sixth and final book in Annabelle Jacobs’ Regent’s Park Pack series, ties up the series’ long arc alongside the romantic conflict of two beta wolves, Daryl and Jason, as they do their part to try to ease tensions and assimilate the newest additions into the pack—those who were absorbed after events that saw the dissolution of the rival Primrose Hill Pack—and some of them aren’t at all happy about it.

The transition has been anything but smooth, several of the P-pack wolves ar

I will start by saying I'm very very sad that this book was the last of the series. I skipped #5 because I don't actually like reading FF stories but I read all of the other ones and I enjoyed every single one. Book #3 'Bitten by Desire' is actually one of my favorites.

I can't explain how excited I was when I heard there is a new book. 'Bitten by Fate' is the story about Darryl and Jason, who I absolutely loved in the previous books. The plot, as I said before, was very interesting and n

I am beyond sad that this is the last book in this series as I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them! This is the final instalment of the Regents Park Pack series and is the story of Daryl and Jason.

Following on from the events of book 5 there are still some uneasiness and distrust between some of the old members of Newell's pack and Regents Park Pack. Subsequently Rachel and Jenn's units are sent on a team building two weeks with the alpha council and Jason and Daryl are sent a long as extra Beta

“Bitten by Fate” is the finale to Annabelle Jacobs’s “Regent’s Park Pack” series. The last of the upheaval that had been following the united pack finally came to an end in this sixth installment, with Daryl and Jason - two betas of the pack - at the center of the story.

It goes without saying that this series need to be read in chronological order as the event followed closely together from the first book to the last. I got to admit I overlooked Daryl most of the series (he mostly moved

As sad as it is to see series I’ve enjoyed come to a close, I love it when they go out on a high note and that’s just how I felt with Bitten by Fate. The author tidied up a lot of the minor plotlines in this novel and capped off the pack merge with a storyline that yielded plenty of romance and excitement, leaving me completely satisfied if a little wistful about saying goodbye to the Regent’s Park pack.

Saying goodbye to a series you dearly enjoyed isn't always easy and saying goodbye to this particular was very hard.

The way Annabelle Jacobs wove a thrilling storyline with amazing characters is something I loved from each of her books in the series. This book was no exception and I was with Daryl and Jason from the moment I opened the book.

Bitten by Fate is the sixth and final book in the Regent's Park Pack series, and we see how Cam is still trying to bring together both sides of his new pack. Calling in the big guns, he sends two units, plus two betas to 'oversee', off to a couple of weeks "bonding session", held by the Alpha Council. Daryl and Jason are the two betas there as support. Their time together has some unexpected side-affects for both of them.

I’ve been a fan of this series from the very start, so knowing this was the last book in it set my expectations pretty high. I’ve enjoyed the interactions of the pack members, and the evolution from the Regent’s Park and Primrose packs being separate entities to them becoming a single pack—along with all the drama that went along with it.

The author continues here doing a good job of character presentation and development, HOWEVER…for me, this story had a similarity with the fourth book, Bitten B

Bitten by Fate is the sixth (and final!) book in the Regent's Park Pack series and you need to read books 1-4 at the very least or you will be lost.

Daryl is one of Cam's old betas and is roped, along with Jason, one of the new betas and former member of the Primrose Pack, to supervise a team-building exercise and learn to work together. Even if he is attracted to Jason, the last thing he wants is to be in a relationship or forge a bond with anyone because of something that happened in hi
I’ve been curiously awaiting Jason’s and Daryl’s story, excited to see how it would play out. It’s not exactly an enemies to lovers romance, but the animosity that still exists between some members of the Primrose Pack and their new pack serves a similar purpose and gives this unlikely couple something extra to overcome.

The forced proximity during the pack-building course was a great touch and I loved how the tension and emotions between Jason and Daryl continued to build throughout. As with th

As the last book in this series, I think there was a lot at play with tying up loose ends and giving everyone their happy ending. And I'm pretty sure if you've read this series, you'll be thrilled at this finale.

Jason has been eyeing Daryl for a while now, but they've been on opposite sides, just recently merged into the same pack as betas. With all of the animosity from the merger, the packs have yet to find their groove together. The alphas have set up a two week pack bonding experien

You ever wanted something so desperately that once you found it , you were afraid to keep it? That is Daryl, poor miserable pathetic Daryl. I found it hard to accept his reasoning for not accepting the bond with Jason. I also was annoyed at Jason for letting Daryl break his heart because they were both too much the cowards to fight for their bond. *shakes head* men. Just communicate and stop thinking with your dicks all the time.

I do wonder about the logistics of this obstacle course though. I g

Bitten by Fate is the final installment of the Regent's Park Pack series. This book features Daryl and Jason who are the epitome of opposites attract. Daryl is super stoic and cold, where Jason is friendly and joyous. Daryl avoids relationships, Jason is in love with the idea of being in love.

Both are betas in their pack and have been tasked with supporting a bonding off-site to improve interpack relations. It's clear Jason is attracted to Daryl, so it's a bit predictable that the two will deter

Another brilliant book in this series. I’m sorry it’s the last one. One of my niggles though was that I don’t think there was enough written about Jason and Daryl’s love story and HEA. For me too much concentrated on the bonding exercises to bring the two packs together. Of course this is my opinion. I am not a writer. If I were Annabelle though I would have stepped back and thought about bringing all the other couples back into this last book to say farewell. Hardly anything was mentioned about ...more

From that review:Bitten By Fate is the series finale for Annabelle Jacobs' Regent's Park Pack series, a group of novels I have thoroughly enjoyed.  Each with a Bitten By in the title, they tell the story of a new pack, the Regent's Park Pack, struggling to come together under a new Alpha after devastating pack wars.  The animosity and territory arguments escalating between a ne

there was a lot to get through about other members of the pack before Daryl and Jason's story becomes about them, and there was skimming. I liked the back and forth between them, but I'm iffy about Daryl's hangups about bonding. I get where he's coming from, but I'm not convinced...? I guess it makes sense that childhood trauma can distort reality and result in intense aversion to something that, as a child, seemed monumental. I just had a sense of "...that's it?" when the truth came out. IDK, I ...more

I liked the characters, the connection was hot, and I enjoyed the angstiness over the bond. Dragged on a bit, but overall I really enjoyed the relationship aspect of the book.

I didn't like how many editing errors there were, particularly in the beginning. I also wasn't a fan of the fact that this is definitely not a stand-alone book. I've not read all of the books, and the ones I *have* read I read about a year ago, so I felt pretty confused/lost at the beginning of the book with

Talk about insane!!! Poor Daryl and Jason are so busy trying to put out so many fires that it's no wonder they feel the heat, especially Daryl! I mean, come on, between blending two formerly hostile packs together, the shifter council breathing down their necks, a two-week pack bonding exercise, hidden danger threatening everyone, and a mate bond popping up at the worst possible time, Daryl and Jason are about ready to explode. Watching them try to deal with the pressure, pacify the quarreling p ...more

Bitten By Fate is the final book in the Regent's Park Pack series. It can be read as a stand alone however, I would recommend reading the other books for background.
Daryl and Jason are both beta's however, with the joining of their packs there is contention between the two packs. So, the council has decided that they need to go for team bonding.
Daryl has a lot of misgivings toward a bond and when he and Jason trigger a potential mating bond things become more complicated. Not only are they deali

A wonderful end to a series even though I hate to see it end. Daryl and Jacob are sent to a pack buildup to help bring the two packs together. They end up being mate bonded but they don't have a great relationship with each at first. Daryl is fighting is feeling and mistreats Jacob but they end up working their relationship out. The book is exciting, intense, romantic, and with some angst. The book is great and I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
