Every Thursday night Kenny logs into Maya's camroom for a private, steamy session that leaves them both giddy, breathless and hungry for more. Their online relationship is complicated. She's a sex worker and he's her client. He's a spy and she was once his surveillance subject. Technically there are only two degrees of separation between them, but only Kenny knows that. Wh ...more

One of the things I love about Katrina Jackson as a writer is that she doesn’t even know how good she is. Humbled writers tend to write the best books and they don’t even know it.

This addition to the series was just as fun as the first book if not more fun. It was also just as sexy if not *ahem* *clears throat* sexier. Think Fifty Shades of James Bond--but classier and way less misogynistic (I'm referring to Fifty Shades when I say that, of course.)

I don’t know what it is but these books have dr
A fucking delight from start to finish!

A sex positive, queer friendly, body positive, and diverse sexy spy rom-com that you need in your life. Trust. Me.

I didn't start with book one, because I'm horrible like that, but I am positive that it is also an amazing read and would probably give you a better insight into some of the characters (especially, of course the throuple for that book, Monica, Lane, and Kierra). You bet your ass I'll be reading it soon though.

I can't say enough good things about

I still struggle to articulate in words how much I'm loving this series. I love the characters, the flirting and the sexy scenes. But also the suspense, the thrills and the danger. It's an irresistible combination for me that just gets better and better - and makes me fall in love more with each and every character in this cast.

Maya and Kenny were perfect together, and I loved their push and pull as much as the deep connection they shared throughout all the sexy and the dangerous and the angsty

So hot. So full of feeling. Love all the characters, happy for them to get their own stories. And the plot is enough to be believable and keep things moving ('cause it's really not the point).

That scene where she comes across a fan in the plane! So happy with that.

Also, I love it when characters talk real about their work so I loved that aspect in this.

My favorite of her books so far.

Hopelessly cute

Its cute and sexy and actiony and I adore everyone in it.

Maya and Kierra are everything i wanna be, Monica is life goals, Kenny is bae and Lane is now my book boyfriend.

Katrina is one of my perpetual insta-buys for a reason.
Maya is a cam girl, a profession she didn't set out to have but one she is awesome at and one she loves. She loves her body and she loves letting others see that. It pays the bills and supports herself and her family and she has no regrets.

Kenny is Maya's favorite client, a client she knows only by his user name (Asian### random numbers, sorry can't remember it exactly). Kenny has good reasons for never showing Maya his face, even in their private chats. Kenny is a spy and he also kind of knows

This is a great book that got in its own way a bit too much and became a good book. It could *really* have benefited from tighter/sharper editing.

I love that Maya is an unapologetic cam model. She’s smart, full of entrepreneurial zeal, and a professional who knows the tools of her trade. Major props for the positive portrayal of SW - and to the concept that she discovered cam modelling from a flyer denouncing porn - and cheers for Kenny at no point asking her to give it up.

Honestly, I loved May
loooved this book. the characters really make the story. i laughed so damn much because eachh character is so unique and interesting. I need stories for alll of them and i'm pretty sure we're getting it (Chante and Asif !!)

I loved that at no time did Kenny every try to change Maya or try to make her feel guilty for being a cam model. I loved how much he adored her from the beginning. :) and he's so easily flustered! poor guy ;)

Maya is the best and she and her bestie Kierra are forces to be rec

I wasn't sure the second book in this series could possibly match the first, but IT DID. Plus, it managed to amp everything to 11. I pre-ordered book 3, it comes out in a few days, because I am invested in these characters. :) Great sexy scenes, great action and tension versus great humor for a brilliant prose balance. Diverse cast (race, temperaments, sexualities, body types, etc) and just enough reality to sharpen the tension.
Fantastic romp!

I love Maya with my whole heart and I love how much Kenny loves her! I love this book and I think it really improves the balance of spy shenanigans and sexy shenanigans from Pink Slip. I also really love Maya’s familial bonds and hope to see more of her brother and sister. And Lamont!! I am intrigued! Would not be adverse to more of his history with Kenny! This just really is such a fun, sexy romp and I love Maya’s confidence and unapologetic self love!

Loved the main character’s’ chemistry, but I think the author tried to do too much with POVs. We were let into even the most inconsequential characters’ heads. I think altogether I counted seven? It lacked focus. You can introduce characters that will get their own book later without jumping into their POV.

Also, though I really enjoyed the first book in the series, the 3 MCs from book one read like they were spoofs of themselves if that makes sense? Still, I enjoy the author’s writing style.

Best spy romance ever! I adored Maya and Kenny and ok the sexual tension between these two was incredible! I also love how basically everyone is bisexual it’s awesome. Seeing Lane, Monica and Kierra again was also a delight and I hope that Chante and Asif get their story soon too? Pretty please with lots of sugar!!!!!????

Kid this

Katrina Jackson writes some of the best relationships. I inhale both these and the welcome to seaport books. I love how are positive and diverse her characters are. The dialogue is always so quick and witty too, like the comebacks you think of an hour after you needed them. 💕

I'll start by admitting that, while I 100% plan on reading all of them, I'm going through this series a bit out of order. I started with Private Eye, mostly just because the concept made me one-click within seconds. I wasn't at all disappointed in my purchase. Kenny and Maya had me hooked immediately. Their interactions were equal parts sexy and swoon-worthy. I love that Maya's SW profession wasn't portrayed in a way that was degrading or steeped in shame or misogyny. I honestly wasn't sure how ...more

This series continues to be a delightful revelation. The story of Maya, a cam girl and Kenny, a spy is initially built on a house of lies and deception but you can't help but feel for Kenny and the choices he made. Maya is fantastic, the supporting characters (all from Pink Slip) are endearing and amusing and I can't wait to read more of this really excellent series.

So Cute I Cannot

The cutest love story about a fat, Black sex worker falling for one of her clients that I ever did read.

I would have preferred less everyone else and more Kenny and Maya, but still I liked this a lot.

I am on board with Maya and Kenny. She can paint a scene and I love being able to imagine my body in a romance novel. Now for Asif and Chante. But next Lamont.

Private eye a review

Really enjoy the spies series the author has written. For some reason was way more into the secondary character plus kierra and Monica and lane than maya and Kenny. Really looking forward to Chante’s book.
Love this book, these awesome characters and everything Katrina writes.
