Angel's Halo MC #8

Forever Angels

Rewind.

I hit the rewind button on the old VHS tape that contains my memories, causing the past to scream across my closed lids.

Past the nightmare where Enzo Fontana goads me, threatening my family, wanting all the secrets of my MC that I refuse to give him.

Past the evil laughter that reaches me even in the sweat-soaked, pain-filled oblivion of near-death sleep.

Past the blast I thought would end me, the searing pain of the heat that melted my back, the shattering glass still lodged in parts of my body.

Past the months of loneliness because I let the one person I knew I couldn’t live without walk out of my life because I knew I wasn’t good enough for her.

Pause.

There she is.

Smiling up at me as I lean over her. Kissing her like I have the right to. Like I’m not stealing a moment in time I will have to live off of for the rest of my life.

A life that is going to end very, very soon.

I’m dying. I can feel the life begin to fade from me. My body, which has been tortured for days, perhaps even weeks—I don’t even know anymore—will give up soon.

And all I want to do is think about her.

That smile. The sweet taste of her lips. The little sounds she made as she gave me the most precious thing any woman could give a man. The love in her eyes in the afterglow.

She was mine then.

And I would forever be hers.

“Jos,” I groaned, letting the first tear leak from my eyes.

Terri Anne Browning never disappoints!!!! I could feel Tanner's pain & smell the rotting flesh at the beginning of this book. Ms. Browning takes you into the lives of her characters and makes you part of the family. Love this book and how we are brought up to date with the other characters from previous books. If you have not read Terri Anne Browning you are missing some great stories. I can't wait for what is a ahead with the next generation! Bring them on!!!

Forever Angels was the eighth and final book in the Angel’s Halo MC series by Terri Anne Browning. They all built off each other and needed to be read in order.

And wow! I didn’t see this one coming. No spoilers, but just wow! Forever Angels was told from multiple POV’s concluding all individual and joint storylines for the series. It was emotional and heartfelt. It ended with a wonderful epilogue showing great promise for a legacy series full of the MC’s children.

It's very unlikely I would recommend this series. With the end of the first generation, and seeing there's a second generation series, I'm unsure of the high ratings. Maybe reviewers aren't so critical of the heriones they read about, but I'm more critical of the FMCs than I am of the MMCs. And this series had some of the worst. Inconsiderate, spoiled, bitchy, zero self control. Just a few words to describe them. The MMCs in this series were completely forgettable. Because there's a ton of POVs there's zero character development. I absolutely HATE when FMCs either stomp their feet, or stick their tongue out. Seriously, how old are you? MC women would not act this way. Anyways, I'm sure the FMCs in the second gen will be just as bad. Having the mothers they do. The most decent FMCs were definitely Rory and Jos. With the worst being Raven, Kelly, and Quinn. Raven because she was just violent, and nothing else. Oh, but she did have lot's of medical experience though she wasn't a doctor. The author had this character barking orders inside the hospital and threatening medical staff all the time. It was just really bad. I can't even tell you the best MMCs because I completely forgot about every single one. 🤷 This last installment would have been better if it had only been Jos and Tanner's story. Though him surviving and coming back from the dead was completely unbelievable. Plot holes galore unless you've read every single book from this author's apparent crossover series' Resolutions not resolved for some characters. The author had a character saying one thing then completely changed it a few chapters later or in the next book. For instance Matt saying he only slept with Steph while Rory was away. Then changed to probably Steph and Cassandra because he was drunk. To having a two day fuckfest with randoms. To being curious if he was the father of Joslyn's son. Then finally in this book he only ever slept with Steph. Author completely forgetting what she wrote in previous books, or just not caring. You'll never hear about the 69 patch ever spoken of again. And more. I don't mind chaos, but I need it to be consistent chaos because I can't forget what's been written and then it having been changed later.

Overall not impressed, but it was mildly entertaining. Though I felt the couples who had HEAs should have had HEAs with other characters. I don't know maybe that's just me. 🤷

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads.
======================
It was all a lie, though, a ploy to make him jealous—to see if I even could—and to make him mine again. It worked, but after that last time, he treated me like trash, and I walked away with a broken heart.

It was all flooding back. All the reasons why Tanner and I couldn’t be together. Mostly because I wasn’t his type. I was twenty years old, which meant I was at least twenty years too young for Tanner. He liked them older, had always compared women to well-aged wine. The older, the better was how he saw it. Age meant more experience.

“I’m thinking about taking the day off,” I told her as I sent the text and stood. I tossed my phone carelessly on the bed, knowing she would be able to see it. “But I’m a little bored with you now. Thought maybe I would get a little variety. Someone with some actual skills to come over and finish what you couldn’t.”

“Sorry, sweetheart. I need a shower. It’s not polite to have a girl’s cream on your cock when you’re expecting someone else.”

“Last night was fun, but it took for-fucking-ever for you to get me off. I need someone who knows what she’s doing. You can stick around and watch if you want, maybe learn a few things. If you do, we can try this again tonight.”

“Sorry if I’m breaking your heart,” I told her. “I thought you knew the score. This is why I don’t get involved with anyone younger than me. You young chicks get too clingy. It’s just about sex, sweetheart. No offense, babe, but no experience and following a guy around like a lost puppy is a huge turn-off for me.”

Perfect ending for this series. Way to wrap up a story line with a bang! Did not see this one coming but so happy with the ending.

Even better--a promise of seeing the MC more in a next gen series. Love!!

This was such an overall satisfying conclusion to this series. We not only got a wrap up to the last longer threads of story that had run through the series but we got to see some happiness at the end as well which was something awesome. Glad I finally binged this series that I’ve owned for so long.

This book, man oh man this freaking book.......
I have to say I cried like a baby at the end of Atonement, and yea I ride yet again when I read the blurb for this book. I mean really my heart was freaking shattered at the end of Atonement, then in Fallen Angel my poor heart was just totally freaking crushed...........
Then I read the blurb for this book and poor crushed heart started to get this totally excited pitter patter going and yea by the end of this book it had been sewed up and finally put back together again.

This Series is definitely one of my top 10 MC’s, it had all the awesome things I look for in a good MC series.

You get: Hot BadAss Alpha Bikers, some Asshole Alpha Bikers, BadAss Female MC’s that oh so definitely know how to get the job done when their men aren’t doing it fast enough.... Yeah Raven is definitely not someone I would wanna piss off. There’s also the intrigue, mystery & gritty MC lifestyle. I absolutely LOVE how even though each book is about 1 couple the story line flows directly from one book the next, even though there are slight cliffhangers in each one, you still learn more about and even hear from previous main characters in each book!!

MUST READ MC SERIES!!

The last book in the Angel’s Halo series is one that will knock you off your feet. Shock and surprise and utter disbelief of who will be found. This is a book packed with so much emotion, it gives us closure on all our favourite couples and maybe even a new one we didn’t even expect. There are some moments in this book that will literally shatter your heart and believe me the tears will fall. Even though Forever Angels is action packed and contains the grit of the MC, it is also overflowing with love and passion between the characters. Stakes will be claimed and forevers will be in the water, along with something else that appears to be contagious. A beautiful way to finish this series and leaves our hearts full.

Still went with five stars because I loved the series as a whole and this book stayed true to the overall story arc.
I would have liked seeing some scenes fleshed out a bit more but I think those stories will be seen in more detail in the next gen series.
Plenty of action with all members of the family which made for a well rounded finale.

*****SPOILERS*****

Sad to see this series come to an end! I know there is a spin-off for the kids but I will miss this generation!! (Miss you most, Hawk/Gracie & Raider/Quinn!)

Even though this book wasn't my absolute favorite of the series I couldn't help but feel for Tanner. What he had to go through because of Bates & Fontana... That was horrible. So happy that he found his forever love & adored his relationship with his little man, Reid.

The highlights of the book for me:
*Raven- Once again, I'm left in a #AllHailQueenRaven state of mind after reading an Angel's Halo book. Her show-no-mercy momma bear attitude was incredible to witness & I couldn't help but be her biggest cheerleader when she jumped into action when Alexa was taken.
*Quinn & Raider- I always feel the most emotion when reading their POVs in these books & this one was no different. Over-the-moon excited that we got to see their special day but admittedly a bit disappointed that we missed their "epic" night.

The lowlights of the book for me:
*Alexa's kidnapping- It went a little too far for me... I think it's partially a set-up that'll shape her character for her future story but it was tough to read about, especially since she was shot in the recent past.
*Lack of follow-thru where the baby boom was concerned- I wanted more details about the births, babies & marriages! *insert frowny face here*

Very curious to see how things are gonna go down for the next generation of the Angel's Halo MC. Here's hoping Lexa's story starts us off with a bang! (But not literally, please.)

I have loved this series from the very start. I am so in love with these characters and this family and this world, and as sad as I was to see it go, I could not have asked for more with this ending. It was everything I needed it to be and more. It was full of what made me love this series in the first place, it completely consumed me from start to finish, and it made me realize why these characters are so special. Their loyalty, their friendships, and their sense of family truly set them apart. And all of that coupled with the incredible romances that I’ve gone along the way with them has just made this series one of my all-time favorites.

What I especially loved about this last book was that it not only reminded me why I loved this series so much in the first place, they kept me on my toes to every word. It put me in the thick of it with these characters, it allowed me to realize again and again why I love them so much, And it truly was an unforgettable story.

If you have read and loved this series, then you will love this book. It does this series and these characters the justice they deserve, and you will love every bit of getting to see their last story come to life.

Holy damn ! Terri Anne Browning has done it again. She perfectly wrapped the Angels Halo series in a beautiful action packed, romantic bow. I devoured this book in a matter of hours. Tanner is Back through the horrible torture he endured one thing keeps him going Jos. Jos has one thing left of Tanner their beautiful son Reid. When its discovered Tanner is actually alive and back its the second chance they both needed. I loved Jos and Tanners story there was so much purity and seeing the sweeter less sarcastic side of Tanner made me love him even more . In all the chaos and turmoil going on around them we get to see a deeper look at the strength and glue that hold all these character together. My favorite is Raven her fierce motherly instincts and just her bad ass nature make her even scarier then the men. Angels Halo:Forever Angels is the perfect ending to the series It was filled with action and romance and a beautiful happy ending and a special peak at the future. Absolutely loved it !
I can not wait for the next generation. Well Done Terri Anne Browning ! Very Well done !

Ah an end of an era, the conclusion to the MC saga. Ok so I went back and re read all of the previous books, just to have my plots and twist straight. Basically, everyone is preggos, Tenner is alive, they are still in lockdown, we meet Jos who has a baby Reid who is Tenners boy. Kelli has been shot by her dad, and recovering, Willa is carrying triplets, Lexa was shoot and is recovering as well and the brothers are still on the enge trying to find the Italians who are causing all the trouble.
This is Tanner and Jos'es story, but also the conclusion to the saga.
It does have a lot of twist and unexpected turns, but also allot of happy endings, new babys and a wedding. I saw there is a new series about the kids from these guys, so I am so here for it.
At the end, I have to say Kelli and Gracie are my favorite girls, Colt and Matt are my favorite dudes.
I love the banter, the fierceness and the family vibes. Sometimes I wish honestly I could have such loyal, loving group of friends who are your extended family.
Great series, will re read this many more times trough my life. 🖤

Angel's Halo: Forever Angels...

Angel's Halo MC book 8. A fanfreakingtastic way to end a series. You will cry, laugh and gasp for air. This book is gritty, hella twisty, angsty, dramatic, WTF craziness and smexy. I was a doubting Thomas cause in the previous book we thought Tanner was dead in the car explosion. How do you come back from that? I'll tell you how, by this author's brilliant storytelling. This book was everything. Tanner was captured, tortured and left for dead. This alpha Badass comes back from the brink of dead to get back, protect the love of his life( that he turned away from back in the day), and found out he has a son. I disliked Jos from the previous book but I came to like and cheer for her this time around. Loved seeing all the other characters from the previous books. Loved every minute of this series. By the way, I read the different series out of order, the Next Generation series is off the charts brilliance. Onto the Rocker series. Ms. Terri, I absolutely love your books.

The perfect ending to one of my favorite series ever!
I wont give anything away as I hate those types of reviews. All I will say is that Terri Anne Browning does it again! I could not put this book down and while I was happy that the issues the character's have been having to deal with for the 7 previous books were finally resolved, I was sad that it was also the mark of the end. Well for now. Because while this series has ended Terri did give us something to look forward to with the next generation. Also to say that Terri as a knack for writing strong female characters would be a huge understatement. If you loved Raven from book one you will love her even more now! Seriously anyone that has invested their time and love in reading all 7 books before will not be left disappointed with this last installment.

I re-read the entire series before I began this book. Wow, just Wow! This was possibly the most emotional of all the books in the Angel's Halo series. It was told in multiple POV's, and we got a glimpse of what everyone was going through. Tanner, oh Tanner... he went through so much but kept his humor in place. Terri Anne Browning certainly knows how to write an enthralling story that pulls you in from the beginning, holds you captive, making you feel like you are going through all of it along with this amazing group of people, keeping you in the edge of your set, and warming your heart by the end. I enjoyed every second of this story. And the ending... can’t wait to see what kind of mischief the next generation can get into.

Amazing!,

So I read a lot. Some books are good some are bad and some books there are just know words for. There are certain authors that can write a story that just swallows you whole. Terri Anne Browning is one of those authors. You can get so invested in these stories that you feel their joy, their pain, and their heartache. I have laughed and cried through this series. It's one of the best. Although this is the end of this generation I can't wait to read the next. The author did a great job ending the series the way she did.
P. S.
Raven is the sh*t!! I so want to be her.

What a great finish for a great series. This book was amazing! I loved Tanner and Jos together and that little bug Reid. How all the characters were there with their own little wrap ups was fantastic and did not take away from the story being told. Everything blended in nice. The only downside I had was what happened to Lexa. I wanted to jump into the book at the point. I felt all the rage that Raven felt and all the helplessness that she felt even knowing it was just a story. The epilog was perfect and tied everything in a nice neat bow. THANK YOU for a wonderful series. Now get back to work!

Great

This book is more based on Jos and Tanner's life.  Jos is she's Butch's daughter and  Uncle Chaz granddaughter both members of the MC, although her grandfather recently passed from the rivals she is back home with her Reid hers and Tanners son. Tanner was a member of the Angels Halo MC, he was killed in a car explosion by a rivial after the MC. But what if by some miracle he's really ok.

We follow some of the other family members  and get a little updates in there lives. Marriages and babies to come. Will the MC finally take down the evil after them and get their HEA?

5 stelle

So absolutely bitter sweet. It is always hard when a series comes to an end but this one has tugged at my heart from the very beginning. The way the characters are all written into each book, the connections, the emotions they are all there and to have to say good bye sucks! But this was absolutely the best way to say goodbye as well as hello to a whole new generation. It’s hard to review without fixing things away but just know... Raven is a bad ass, Lexa has a long road ahead, Tanner might just shock you and the rest they are all there to make sure their family is always together.

What can I say about the book that ended this series. I was a mess when I read the snippet that we got from Terri Anne, I just did not know if I could handle this. It was such a hard read because of the emotions of all the brothers and what this would mean for them. Damn Tanner broke my heart. I was so scared that he was going to leave us before they could even tell him the truth!! What a way to end these books. I still want to know about all the babies and how that all went. I was truly happy with how this all ended. Thank you Ms. Terri Anne!!!

I LOVE this series and I'm sad that this part is coming to an end. I was so sad when he "died" so I wasn't sure whose book this was. While this was a little far fetched to believe (especially the beginning), I loved this book!

Some of the characters where wrapped up in this story but the kids stories were left open ended. I'm interested in seeing what will happen between some of little ones.

Like always, Terri leaves me just wanting more and I can't wait for it!!

I honestly have no words to encapsulate all that is this novel. This last book was the perfect ending and I am in agony, but the good kind.

Without delving much into it and spoiling the whole book, this novel ended this series with the perfect bang! I'm gonna miss the gang but I'm now going to hunt through other novels by this author in hopes of getting updates or little glimpses of them.

Would wholeheartedly recommend this series to any romance readers in search of lovable characters and addictive storylines packed with action.

This is the last book in this series. I did enjoy it for the most part but I did have moments that I was disappointed.
After everything Tanner had been through I was disappointed in the way that Fontana and Bates paid for their actions. They all talked about how they were going to make him pay then to turn around and ended it within seconds.
Also for what happened to Lexa was sad. Children should never be the victims in these kind of situations.
It does seem interesting that the children with be involved in a series. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Finally!!!!

The final book.

The mess and all the bad people are gone.

Final thoughts, this is not a motorcycle club, they are mush cuties. Kidding!!

But, at times they were a little toooo much for my taste. "Oh no, baby, don't walk five feet, you'll hurt your back".

I mean seriously RELAX!!!

Again with the whiplash from the changes on the povs.

Also, why did it have to be a child. Kidnap someone else. Mark some else. NOT A CHILD!!!

The child has its whole life in front of it to be scarred. M*******r!!!

I hope that they did a plastic surgery on the girl's face.

Family, brotherhood and loyalty.

Ooh loved this story, seeing all the couples finally shaking off the danger to its members and club, one by one they each get their happy ever after. Ending perfectly leads into the Second Generation series.
“I didn’t lie,” he assured her. “I didn’t want you to be sad, so I came without telling anyone. I think I’m in trouble, but I don’t care. It was worth it to get to see you smiling at me like that.”

Angel's Halo: Forever Angel's: Angel's Halo MC (8)

I can't believe I've finished this series. I loved it all. The love, the loss. It was hard and fast. Storylines were all brilliant, but, this was by far the best. Some very unexpected happenings. Made me hold my breath in places. This is the best MC series I have read in a very long time. Bring on the Next Generation. Excellent all round
