The third book of this 6 book series starts out with a major bang with Miriam having to explain why she had to save Mordecai and what caused him to be in need of saving. This leads to answers being given and even more questions opening up. It's still unclear if Mordecai will be what Miriam needs, but as the couple drift closer, the heat rises and it is beginning to look like Miriam very well may welcome the dark.
Mr. Bane is no stranger to the multi-faceted character. One that is broken yet strong and resilient. It is never more on display than within these pages. His heroine, Miriam, while naive in some ways, reliant on God to keep her safe, can also step up and take command of a situation like a boss. She is a surprise as she grows in her confidence and self-assurance. Mordecai is an enigma, leaving the reader wondering just what his endgame is. Will he become more than he appears to be or will he drag Miriam into his darkness?
The story itself has twists as a glimpse into Miriam's past is revealed and the group that Mordecai is keeping at bay is explained alongside some steam inducing scenes bound to raise a blush or two.
This series and its characters keep getting better and better. Luckily there is more to come.

After a scary escape from the people in Mordecai’s group who were seeking Miriam, Mordecai is in pretty bad shape. They are in his safe house now and Miriam is stunned with the secrets she is learning about. Being the woman she is she tries to help Mordecai heal. She still doesn’t know all his secrets, and he isn’t really ready to share. Miriam is becoming very important to him, but he needs all control and cannot really let it go. We find out so much more about Mordecai’s secret group and how he set Miriam up but has now changed his idea of her and his plans. This book in the series stunned me, I am as shocked as Miriam to learn who he really is and whether she is going to be able to save herself by saving him. I have no idea where this is going but the ride is fascinating, and this is like no book I have read before by Lucian Bane. I cannot wait to see where this goes, Lucians characters are usually broken, don’t die, and there is a love story in here somewhere. I think!!!!!! On to Book 7 & 8.

Sadistic Games 1-6
Could be a spoiler. The subject matter was not what I expected. I'm not sure what I wanted to read but once I started, the author evolved the characters more and more, book to book. The subject was her trying to continue to be a good Christian woman at the same time, as a thesis for her doctorate, she chose Malachi (sic), a sadist to change. He chose her, a good Christian woman, to play out his sadistic plans for his thesis. Of course throw in some more sadistic associates, for suspense. But no ending. I cliffhanger. Right over the edge. The author leaves so many unanswered questions. Please write 7-8. I've got to know who got their thesis correct, are the bad network of really sicko, sadist going to reappear. Will this end in a relationship?

This gets 5 boiling cups of javas, ☕☕☕☕☕, from me. Where do I even begin .... In this book 5 & 6, from beginning to end is the build up between Miriam and Mordacai and the changes in them between their sessions. Very tense and strong emotions tying them closer and stronger. This story tells more of Miriam. I have the feeling in the next installment will tell more of Mordacai in how he came about the way he is and more intensive connection between them as they finally connect in every sense. Of course, Lucian has to leave us with anguished abated breath as Mordacai's session ended with Miriam's emotional break through from her past..... I'll be waiting for the next book with the same emotions of a submissive pleading her Master for the next reward.

And the games continue... You can feel it coming. Your sense are on high alert as Miriam and Mordecai dig deeper into each other’s minds. Their “sessions” with each other are taking it to a whole other level. Mordecai delves deep to find secrets from past hurts. Miriam having faith and the will to help Mordecai to find his emotional side. Things are heating up.. feeling the burn with each page. Will these two be able to come together as one? Will their morals or logic hold them back? Or will they trust in each other to find their perfect mix? I have no idea.. but I’m so enjoying this story!

sadistically outstanding
this book so far is brilliantly written i mean im readung fast but trying to go slow because im afraid itll end and ill have to wait and it sucks because this books just draws you right it and by the time your done your screaming and begging for more while trying to come down from the biggest reading high youve ever been on lucian you never disappoint you bring the fire the heat the f@$"ckupness that we come to expect from you but its better and better with every book i for one cant wait to see what happens next between these two

Intense deep emotional ending
Progressing through their studies,Mordecai finds himself feeling things other than hunger and anger. He’s starting to feel and it is due to Miriam. Miriam hasn’t stated it but she’s in love with the sadist. Craving to help him while he craves her entire essence, these two plummet into repressed feelings and secrets that come to light. Opening old sores to allow a proper healing instead of festering.
The ending left me speechless. Wow!

Loving this strange sadistic series.
This is the third set of books, please be sure to read all previous books before starting this one or you will be lost. Mordecai is starting g to feel things he never thought possible and Miriam is finding a way around her religious beliefs. They both have so much to teach each other and so much to learn at the same time. This is a strangely fascinating series and I highly recommend it.

After Mordecai wakes from passing out. He wants Miriam to tell him everything she did to him that made him pass out. Mordecai ends up making a deal with Miriam. He answers any questions about himself if she tells him what happened to make him pass out .
This part of the series we find out how deep their emotions are which are quite alien to both of them. Plus some really exciting sessions happen. Get ready!!!!

Wow!
These are intense and I really couldn’t tell where these sessions were leading. A lot of Miriam’s pain is bottled up in her. I got insight into why she believed as she did. I was struggling with her character and by the end I felt so much compassion for her. He also comes to realizations about how he feels with her. M. Is a fascinating man and these scenes between them are hot! Yummy hot lol.. grab a hold and enjoy this ride..🔥🖤🔥

Phenomenal Series
The sessions between Mordecai and Miriam get more intense with each chapter.
Mordecai has actually developed feelings for the first time in his life.
Whether she realised it or not yet, I believe that Miriam is falling in love with him.
Can hardly wait to see how this plays out.

Anticipation within will keep you reading
Mr Bane kept me on the edge of my seat. Wow, this tale enthralled me from beginning to end and left me craving more. Me Bane made me feel like I was IN the story, a part of it, I felt the ups, downs, anticipation and full range of emotions along with his characters. Moving on to 7 & 8 Mr Bane!

This series gets better and better!!!
I had no idea that the mix of sadism, sex and religion could be as intriguing as this is!! I'm on the edge of my seat waiting on the next one!! Amazing read, hot as hell and I NEED the rest of this story!!!!

Things are intensifying and heating up in this next installment. Miriam and Mordecai are still testing their theories, but it seems each are having their boundaries, and limits, pushed a little more each time, while still holding on to their beliefs. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Hooked Right at the Beginning
I'm mesmerized with these characters and the road Lucian has taken them on. I can't wait to see what comes of Miriam and Mordecai in the next books to come! I'm just enthralled by their growth in each book! Curious to see how it all ends!
